backstory: Alyssa is the daughter of Adelaide Mae "Addie" Perez and Victor Mendoza, the older sister to Adrian Carlos "Ace, granddaughter of Alejandro and Hanna Perez, and niece to Adrian Jay "AJ", Wes, and Steffi. Prior to her birth, her parents got into a huge fight, like Victor "not wanting" a kid at all, which he does, but doesn't know due to being blindsided by a girl that torn apart Addie and Victor's relationship. Addie secretly moved to New York to live with her grandma, just like when Alyssa's grandmother Hanna flew out there after being heartbroken from a scandal years ago. Few months later, Addie rekindled her relationship with the baby's father Victor before giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, naming her Alyssa. Growing up, she loves to sing and act, just like her mother, and she became a part of her school's glee club as a Soprano. She also focus on her studies and got into the honors program because of the fact she is getting too smart like her dad.
