You walked down the Halls of a place that looked rather familiar...
I felt an odd stare , I turned to my left to see L... 'is he alright?' I thought to myself
"L? Are you okay?" I managed to say. L turned around to see him crying...

"L?!"
Behind him was a monster which I recognized as... A god of death.
L falls to the ground , I rush to his side and see his eyes slowly closing
"L?! L speak to me!"
L mumbled something I couldn't make out

"What?"

"Kira"

I jumped up sweating , with tears rolling down my face
"What the hell was that?!" I scream , I guess my mom heard me since she ran in my room [A/N may I mention your adopted] "Honey? Is everything alright?" She asked "Y-yes , I am... Sorry..." , She left my room and left me VERY confused . What is this 'Kira' thing? [A/N may I also mention this is before the Kira case]

I got up , had a shower and got dressed

I head down stairs and heard the giggling and chattering from my sister and mother.

The thought of L reminded me of the dream I just had a few minutes ago.

"Morning onee~chan!"
"Morning Yumi"
I sit next to my sister while my mother is finishing breakfast

"So Mum , what were you and Yumi giggling about earlier?"
"Yumi told me a funny joke her school mate said to her" My mother said , still full of giggles

"Oh , okay then"

We were in the middle of a conversation when we got interrupted by my phone ringing

Looking at the caller , I smile to my self

He's calling me

"Sorry mum , gotta take this"
"Don't worry darling" My mum smiles widely

I exit the room and answer the call

"So really , why are you calling?"
"A new case has come up , have you heard?"
"No I haven't."

"The Kira case"

K-Kira? Kira , as in from my dream?

"Y/n? Y/n? Y/n!"
"S-sorry Ryuzaki , just had a slight thought..."
"Oh okay , well , see yah later"

I put a hand on my head and sighed

"Something wrong darling?"
"I-its nothing mum , don't worry to much"
"Okay dear , you better hurry , you're almost late!" Mum yells while handing me my bag

"'Kay bye! Love you!"
"Love you too. Have a good day!"
"Sayōnara onee~chan!" Yumi yells after me.

I give a slight chuckel as she trips over a rock.

I continue walking to school , as I plop my earphones in and sing along with the lyrics.

When i finish , i realise i arrived at school.

Rings.

I sigh and walk into the school anyway.

I walked to my class and knock on the door , i walk in and greeted my teacher with an apology.

All i got was a sigh and a "take your seat"

I sat next to a girl with messy long black hair and brown tired eyes. I didn't know her too well so i didn't really know her name.

As if she read my mind , she turned to me and brought out a hand.

"My name is Emalin Gasarin by the way." She said with a monotone voice

I looked up and shook her hand.
"And im Y/n l/n" i smiled.

She turned her attention back to the teacher and ignored me.

Finally! School is over and i didn't even have a chance to talk to L about the so called 'Kira Case'.

I look around for a while to try and find him. I gave up a few minutes later and just walked out the school.

I plugged in my headphones and started listening to f/s [A/n: f/s : favorite song].

A few minutes later i received a text from the one and only L Lawliet.

Lawlipop: Come over to my apartment , i need to talk to you.
R/N [Random nickname]: Okay , want me to buy cake too?
Lawlipop: ...
Lawlipop: yes please...
R/N: whatever weirdo. See you in a bit.

I arrive at his apartment door , and knocked gently. I heard a faint "Come in" from inside so i entered [ 😏😏😏 ]

I looked over and saw L with his body upside down on the couch.

[Basically like this but without the crossed legs]

I sighed and placed the fresh strawberry cake on the kitchen counter.

I sat down next to him as he turned himself around so he was sitting properly.

When i mean properly i mean sit down in his usual position.

"So what was it you needed to talk about?" I asked

"Its about the new case"

"What about it?"

He paused for a while.

"Stalker mode has been activated"

But consider yourselves sorta lucky coz this week are our final quarter exams and i really needed to study , but i got bored and decided to write this so yah.
