Hello y'all! So glad you guys are still around! I hope you'll continue to be around! Things have been crazy around here! I'm looking for a new job, doctor's appointments, job applications, job interviews etc. On top of that let's not even mention the lack of sleep! Lol! So if you see any mistakes just blame it on the lack of sleep!

Mini rant time. I update when I can. I have a job, a newborn and a life outside of wattpad. If I update a chapter please don't tell me things to do to change my stories and please don't tell me to update in the comments, or messages, or on my wall. I don't like it when people tell me to update. It feels like you don't appreciate my stories when you do that. I give everyone a warning first before I start blocking you. That's why I post questions at the end of the chapter to help give you something to say if you're struggling with finding the words. I don't force myself to write and I update when I feel the time is write. Thank you.

I woke up early the next morning to a knock on the door. I rolled over and looked at the clock to see that it was only a little after eight in the morning. Norman and I's flight didn't leave until almost one in the morning so I knew there was no way that it was him. It only left two other people.

I grabbed my glasses as I got out of bed and slid them on my face before heading towards the door. Another persistent knock came as I grabbed a hoodie and slid it over my head. "I'm coming, I'm coming," I said as I closed the distance between me and the door.

I opened it to see both Seans standing on the other side of the door. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked them as I opened the door so they could step inside. Both of them stepped inside and dropped their luggage at their feet. Clark opened his arms first and I instantly stepped into them.

"We were heading out for our flight and we decided to stop by and say see ta later," he said. I stepped back and nodded. "I'll see you at the next one," Clark said. Flanery engulfed me in a hug next. "I love you, sis. You call me if you need anything. Text me when you land so I know y'all made it back safely," he said as he pulled back.

"You guys too," I said. They both grabbed their luggage and with one last smile they were walking out the door. After they left I decided to pack my belongings before heading to take a quick shower. After my shower and finishing getting ready I grabbed my bags.

I made sure I had everything along with my room key before opening. Right when I stepped out the door across the hall opened and out stepped Norman. He was wearing his typical brown boots, jeans, tight black long sleeved shirt and his signature black Raybans. Yet he still looked good.

"Morning," he said with a smile. I smiled back. "Good morning to you too," I said as we started wheeling our bags down the hallway. Norman hit the button to the elevator and we stepped in. After the short ride to the bottom floor we quickly checked out.

We were greeted by the man that would driving us to the airport. I climbed in the backseat of the car and Norman soon joined me after he had helped the driver put our bags in the trunk. "I hope you don't mind," Norman said as he joined me in the back seat.

I cocked an eyebrow at him as I turned my attention to him. "Mind what?" I asked him curiously. He gave me a slight smile. "I asked the driver if we could stop by Helena's so I could say bye to Mingus. I promise we won't miss our flight. I'll make it quick," he said.

I gave him a small smile. "It's quite alright and even if we do miss our flight it's no big deal," I said. Norman chuckled. "Shh, don't jinx us. We're not gonna miss our flight," he said. I sat back in the seat and got comfortable until we got to Helena's. I wasn't even sure where she lived.

"We're here," Norman said as the driver parallel parked on the side of the road. "Do you want to go up with me?" Norman asked with his hand on the door handle. I nodded slightly and pushed open my door. I was instantly met by the cool New York air.

Norman and I quickly made our way inside of the apartment building. Norman nodded at the doorman before heading towards the elevator. He hit the up button and we stepped inside. I watched as he hit the button to the top floor before leaning against the elevator wall.

The elevator soon dinged. Norman pushed himself off the wall and walked out of the elevator with me behind him. We walked all the way to the end of the hall. I assumed that the only door at the end of the hall was Helena's. Norman knocked lightly.

I heard soft footsteps from the inside and soon the door was opened by Helena. "Norman, hello. Violet," she said greeting the both of us as she opened the door fully to let us in. Norman and I stepped just inside the doorway when Mingus suddenly collided with Norman.

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around his son. "Hi buddy," he said. Mingus pulled back and looked up at me. "Hey Vi!" he said while giving me a high five. "We just stopped by to say a quick see ya later," I said while ruffling his hair. I could instantly see the slight sadness in Mingus's eyes.

I knew he was probably used to this by now but he still probably hated his father leaving for long periods of time. "When will you be back?" Mingus asked. Norman gave a small sad smile. "Probably not until the movie is over," Norman said. I could hear the sadness in his voice.

"The day you get back in town it's about me and you, buddy," Norman said. Mingus smiled at him. I caught a glance at the clock on the wall and noticed that we only had twenty minutes to make our flight. I placed a hand on Norman's arm gently. He looked down at me.

"I hate to cut this short, but we only have twenty minutes to make our flight," I said. Norman's eyes became wide as he looked up at the clock. "Shit," he mumbled as he bent down and kissed Mingus on the forehead. "Love you!" Norman said to Mingus as he grabbed my hand and pulled me out the door with him.

I waved behind me to Mingus and Helena. We quickly got in the elevator and rode it down to the first floor. Norman nodded at the doorman again as he held the door for us. Norman looked around the busy street. "Shit, where's our car?" Norman asked rhetorically.

When I found it, I pointed. "There," I said. Norman pulled us over to it. He opened the door and pushed me gently inside before crawling in behind me. "We're ready," Norman told the driver and he pulled out onto the road. Norman pulled off his Raybans and looked over at me.

"I'm sorry," Norman said. I cocked an eyebrow at him. "About what?" I asked him. He gestured to the outside and I already knew there was obvious New York traffic. "We're probably gonna miss our flight," he said. I shook my head. "Think positive," I told him. But when I looked at the clock I knew he was gonna be right.

Cliff hanger!! I love writing those! Lol! BUT the only reason I did this one is because I'm really gonna love writing the next chapter! This one was kind of a filler to take it where I needed it to go! What do you think of Norman and Vi's relationship so far? They're not officially together yet. They're still getting to know each other! What do you think about throwing Mingus into the mix!
