Here's the next chapter, Nords!
--
I felt like a total hermit. We had been on set for a week now and every break I got I was in my trailer. I started eating lunch in there too just so I would have a chance to write something down or strum a couple of chords. I wanted to get all of this on paper immediately.
I clicked my phone to see that it was close to lunch time. I needed a good stopping point before I could even think about getting food...
I know you want me to see,
don't lie to me
Why you gotta go be
so shy to me?
I ain't buying the false anxiety,
let your fortress fall
What is it gonna take
to get you there?
If fear was money,
you'd be a millionaire
all alone in a leather swivel chair,
counting stacks of gold
I felt a smile on my face. I had completed the song. Now all I needed to do was get in a studio to record it. I knew that I needed to come out with a new CD seeing as it had been almost two years since my last one had come out. There was a hard knock on my trailer door.
It cleared my thoughts quickly as I shut the notebook and stood up from the floor. I opened my door slowly to see Norman standing there. Both his hands were full with two plates and tucked in his arms were a couple bottles of water. So that's why the knock was so loud. He had to use his foot.
I gave him a small smile and pushed the door open so he could step inside. "Figured you would want some lunch since you don't come out because you like to hibernate in your trailer," he said as he plopped the plates down on the small table along with the bottles of water.
I let out a sad sigh listening to his voice. He sounded slightly offended that I wasn't out and mingling with everyone especially him. "I know. I'm sorry. I don't know what's come over me. But I've suddenly been hit with all this inspiration for new music and I want to write it down before I forget it," I said.
Norman sat down across from me and started consuming his lunch. I sighed and pushed the food around my plate. I was hungry but the itch to continue to write was still killing me and I just wanted to push the plate to the side and pick up my notebook and guitar again.
"Vi," Norman's voice broke out me out of my thoughts. "What?" I asked him as I looked up at him with a small smile. "I know what you're thinking," he said. I cocked an eyebrow in amusement. "Do you?" I asked him curiously. I doubted that he really knew.
"Yes, you're thinking about continuing to write. But I won't allow that. You're done for the day," he said. I let out a small chuckle. "Oh am I?" I asked him rhetorically. "Yes, you are," he said. He had now finished his own lunch and threw the plate away.
I looked down at my own noticing that I hadn't even touched any of the food on my plate though some of it was actually my favorite foods. I lifted my fork and took one small bite before sitting the fork back on the plate. "No no, you're not finished," Norman said.
I let out a huffed chuckle. It was funny seeing him like this. I took another small bite when Norman suddenly got out of the chair he was sitting in and came and sat beside me on the couch. "Do I have to force this food down your throat?" he asked while taking my plate and fork away from me.
I placed my hands in my lap as he held the fork towards me. I huffed but took the food off the fork. I couldn't believe he was feeding me right now. "So what's the point in this?" I asked him while covering my mouth. Norman gave me a small smile as he gathered more food.
He held the fork out to me again. "Because you're too skinny," he said as I took the food. I chuckled. "Well I'm so sorry," I said sarcastically. Norman's smile grew slightly. "You're way too skinny. We need to fatten you up. I can't have you blowing away when I take you out," he said.
As he said that I could tell by the look on his face that what he had just said slipped out and he didn't mean for it too. I could see the slight blush forming on his face as he held out the fork again. This time though he was avoiding my eyes as I was also trying to avoid his.
I had never had a guy tell me that I was too skinny. Hell, Matt always told me that I was too fat and needed to lose more weight. That always resulted in Flanery coming right behind him and telling him to shut his mouth because he didn't know what the fuck he was talking about.
"Yes sir," I said while taking another bite from him. Soon I had finished the whole plate of food and Norman through it in the trash. "Can I write now?" I asked him. Norman turned around and grabbed my hands and pulled me off of the couch before shaking his head.
"But why?" I asked even though he wasn't speaking. "I told you that you're done for the day," he said while pulling me towards the trailer door. He flung the door open and pulled me with him. He shut my door and started pulling me around base camp.
"Where are we going?" I asked him. He glanced back at me. "Absolutely nowhere. You just needed out. You needed sunlight," he said while gesturing to the sky above us. I shook my head but followed right behind him. It's not like I had a choice though seeing as he was still holding my hand.
I was looking at the sky as we were walking lost in my own little world. "What do you think you're doing?" Norman asked breaking my thoughts once again. "What do you mean?" I asked him. He stopped walking and turned around to face me. His eyes locked with mine.
"You were humming," he said simply. I cocked an eyebrow at him. "I was?" I asked. He nodded in return. I shrugged slightly. "You really can't get away from all of this music, can you?" he asked me. I shook my head. I didn't even realize that I had been humming.
"It's in my blood. Just like acting is in yours and ju jitsu is in Flanery's," I said. Norman gave me a smile as he squeezed my hand gently. "We should probably head back shouldn't we?" Norman asked rhetorically and I gave a slight nod of my head.
It didn't take us long to get back to the main part of base camp. It was busy with everyone running around us. Sometimes I hated that everyone seemed so busy around us yet I was useless to help. I always wanted to get my hands dirty in a new movie.
Norman looked down at me and I could see the tired look in his eyes. I knew my eyes mirrored his. I felt like I could fall asleep standing up. This movie was definitely physically demanding for the both of us. We hated it but yet we loved it at the same time.
The early mornings and late nights were the worst but it didn't help that I was also up all hours of the night writing out lyrics and playing new music for my new album. I couldn't remember the last time I had slept through the entire night. Probably the first night I was here.
"Norman, Vi. There you guys are!" we heard Mark's voice. We turned around to see him walking towards us with a smile on his face. "We were all wondering where you two had disappeared too," he said as he squeezed his way between us and wrapped his arms around us.
"You're needed in hair and makeup. Then wardrobe after that. We're going to start shooting our next scene soon. I need you guys ready in 30!" he said before squeezing our shoulders and walked away. Norman and I looked at each other once more.
Both of us sighed at the same time before turning and looking over at the hair and makeup trailer. Norman gestured for us to walk. His hand was still in mine. We both started putting one foot in front of the other heading back to fantasy wishing we could go back to reality.

I hope @A7XFAN11 enjoyed this chapter along with everyone else!!
So Norman talks about taking Vi out and tells her that she's too skinny before getting really embarrassed. Do you think Norman and Vi need a couple days off and just seem to want to spend time with each other? Predictions on how they'll get together?
