Happy for You

Walked back to my bus
Seated and looking out
I see them walk by
Why is life so unfair?

I left so many clues
One hint here and another one there
But he never noticed
Why does he call me his 'Lil sis'?

I was there for him when he was sad
I stood by him when he was at his worst
I still see them both laugh together
Why can't he see me?

I tried my best to hide it
If he's happy with her
Then I was too
I'm happy for you

But what about me?
You were a whole chapter in my book
But I'm just a mere page in yours
I'm still happy for you

I watch as they walk by
I wipe my tears and smile
Because if he's happy
Then so am I
