The Locked Heart
There lies a mountain of a challenge,
And the man fearlessly stands his ground.
But if onelooked closely,
One could see the hidden fear in his eyes.
To reveal your emotions is not weakness,
But to suppress them is weakness.
You must be the one to decide,
Whether to laugh in glee or cry in sorrow.
Showcase your emotions, happy or sad,
And you'll find yourself
To be as free as a bird.
Because, you too, have the right to express.
Men are human as well and they express—
Power, strength, confidence and fearlessness.
They too, I think, can express—
Sadness, grief, pain and sorrow.
One day, the man will be free,
For he expressed his locked emotions,
And he has been set free,
By nothing but his emotions as his key.
The once locked heart is unlocked. There is no telling up to what extent it can achieve now.

Hi guys!
Yes, I'm still alive!
Hope you liked this one. I feel like since women are underrepresented in the world, people write poems for them to empower them and I totally support that!
But I have observed the underrepresentation of men in poems from an emotional stand point so I decided to give it a try.
That's all fo now!
