maybe the blindfold was a little much right now, it was barely noon and one was already smirking while the other was absent of one of his senses. "the blindfold really?" taehyung said, "it's not even saturday night."

"it actually is saturday." jungkook said. he was holding the boys hands and guiding him into the passenger side of his jeep. the younger insisted that his eyes be covered so he couldn't see where their date would be. of course there was some arguing involved, there always was when taehyung was present. he wasn't the biggest fan of surprises.

"does that mean tonight we can fuc-" taehyung was cut off when jungkook shut the passenger door and walked around to the drivers side.

the radio was already on and taehyung was sitting there with a bright smile, singing along to the tunes until he blindly reached to change it. "give me your phone and let me dj." he said, holding his hand out expectantly.

"you're not gonna dj, you can't see." jungkook started the car and pulled out of the parking space. it was still early, they could eat back at his apartment. he already had an idea in mind anyways, and it may or may not have been something his boyfriend has mentioned before.

"dude i'm bored." taehyung didn't realize how odd it felt to ride in a car and not see where they were going. it was a bit unsettling, if it wasn't for jungkooks hand on his thigh he might have mentally convinced himself he was being kidnapped.

"dude it's been three minutes." jungkook rolled his eyes and expertly made a smooth turn using one hand, the other was a little occupied. "just two more seconds." he said, trying to entertain his boyfriend who has the attention span of a toddler. gosh he adores him.

the older finally settled with trying to guess the radio stations as he changed them, jungkook just hummed and said yes, he was more focused on finding a parking space and not hitting someone else's bumper.

"step down." he instructed the boy once they parked and he walked around to help him out from the jeep. taehyung went full trust mode with his boyfriend, not even stepping out like a normal person and instead jumping from the passengers seat. "jesus!" jungkook yelled. good thing he was paying attention and was able to wrap his arms around the older boys waist.

"good kookie." taehyung smiled, eyes still covered as he kissed the youngers cheek before jumping out of his arms.

the ravenette just chuckled and took the boys hand, locking his jeep before the two of them walked towards the sidewalk. they stood outside the store, hand in hand and a blindfold still over those eyes. "can i peek now?" taehyung asked, already reaching up for the blindfold and not even waiting for an answer.

there was no reason to give him permission, taehyung was already taking off his blindfold and sook blinking to adjust his eyes to the bright sun. "the record store?" he asked, seeing the sign hanging above them and a few customers entering as well.

"go pick a movie, script writer." jungkook grinned at the last part, recalling one of their late night phone calls where the older boy insisted he could write the script of a movie better than the actual one. they weren't the type to go on normal dates, dinners and night walks got old really quick.

taehyung was smiling so brightly, skipping his way inside the store and looking around for a movie with a front that looked the most interesting. "how about this?" he asked, holding one up to show his boyfriend. jungkook just shrugged and kept his hand around the boys waist, "it's your pick."

the two walked around the aisles, taehyung nearly picking out every movie and having the best time imagining what could be done. "how do we feel about black and white films?" he asked, already falling into character as one of the old lawyers described on the back.

"i like color." jungkook said. he was more interested in the boy beside him and the tan cheeks he kept leaning over to peck a quick kiss to. "and you." he continued, leaving another kiss closer to the older boys ear.

"you love me." taehyung corrected, looking over at the younger and poking his side in a teasing manner.

jungkooks cheeks were pink a second later, mumbling a quiet 'shut up' to the one who wouldn't stop messing with him now. he was still poking his sides and occasionally messing with the boys black hair. "you loveeeee me." taehyung sang as he continued to look for movies as well.

of course he's thought of it, how could he not? there wasn't a time that jungkook didn't question how strong his feeling were for the boy beside him, the one with pretty pink lips and sun kissed skin. "hm." he simply hummed and continued to follow his boyfriend around the store.

"okay i found the one." taehyung grabbed the dvd and the two of them walked over to the register.

"is it for rent or for purchase?" the man working behind the counter asked the couple.

jungkook pulled out his wallet and found his debit card, "we'll buy it." he said, waiting for the man to ring it up and print out the receipt for them two.

"thank you!" taehyung smiled as they walked out, hand in hand and on their way back to the car. they already established that there was enough snacks back at the youngers apartment, and they dug in pretty much immediately.

"do you want to film this for your channel?" taehyung asked. he was sitting criss cross on the couch already with a bowl of popcorn in his lap and a half eaten cupcake in one hand. jungkook just looked over at him and smiled. gosh he'd do anything to keep that boy happy and on his couch.

he hummed, coming back over with the blankets and remote. "nah," jungkook said. "this is just for us."

taehyung seemed happy with that response, scooting over to make room for his boyfriend who obliged. the two made themselves comfortable underneath the blanket, tucked all the way up to their chins and cuddling close to each other. the snacks were forgotten as the movie started to play at a low volume, taehyungs deep voice being heard instead as he made up lines and narrated the parts. of course it made no sense, some tale about a boy and how he got the flu during spring break.

"okay but he's not suppose to take his medicine yet?" jungkook said, pointing out a plot hole in the brunettes narrative so far. "he's suppose to take it at noon but it's only 9 am."

"he wanted to surprise the bacteria."

"you're a dork."

"you love me." of course taehyung had to tease him again, there was no way he was letting the boy live this down any time soon.

jungkook knew this too, and he was a blushing mess, pulling the blanket up to his face and falling over to hide against the couch cushion. "shut up that was the wine talking!" he yelled, with a muffled voice against the fabric. taehyung was laughing, dropping the now empty bowl of popcorn to the floor as he leaned over to lay on top of his boyfriend.

his lips left tiny kisses to the back of jungkooks neck, occasionally giggling still when seeing the tips of the boys ears were red still. "kookie, i'm only playing with you." taehyung said, trying to pull the blanket down.

jungkook huffed and managed to turn around with the boy still laying on top of him. his hands went to his waist to hold him in place, dark eyes meeting pretty brown ones. "tae." he simply said.

"hm." taehyung hummed, full lips pulled into a soft smile and lashes blinking slowly. god he was so pretty.

"i love you." jungkook said. his fingers were underneath the boys shirt, tracing random patterns along tan skin that sent shivers down his spine. taehyung was lost for words, all the playfulness gone as he saw how serious the ravenette was after saying those three words. it was almost as if his heart would leave his chest, pounding at an erratic speed and soaring away to find something that could even compare to the immense feeling flowing through his body. taehyung didn't think he'd ever feel this happy. "i love you too."

the smile that showed on jungkooks face was perfect. it seemed a little brighter and a little more genuine, finally feeling the relief of speaking the words that's been on his mind and in his heart for so long. he couldn't wait another second before pulling taehyung closer and pressing their mouths together, kissing until the movie was over and they felt like they'd never breathe again.
