Sylvia's POV:
The next morning, I woke up feeling kinda relieved. I sat by my bed, staring from the window beside me. The sun is setting up, and the light orange sunlight reflects the quiet road up ahead. It is indeed harmonic.
I heard my phone ringing from my left. I took my phone from my bedside table and found out that Jack is calling me.
A smile makes its way across my lips as I stare at my phone screen. I accepted the call placing the phone beside my left ear.
"Hello?" I answered, still a bit drowsy.
"Hey princess!" Jack greeted me from the other line so brightly. "How you doing over there?" He asked.
"I'm good. I'm good." I replied as I placed my gaze out the window.
From the time Jack confessed his true feelings for me, I felt relieved and happy. At first, I was mad at myself for brushing off his advances towards mme for being numb. But after that, I was thankful that he finally confessed to me. I didn't realized at first that I am indeed in love with him too. It's just kinda strange in a funny way to realize that my former enemy turned into best friend is now my... lover.
Oh the odds indeed!
"Glad to hear." He said. "I'll be gone for a few days by the way."
"Why?" I asked, completely sounding curious.
"Dad and I will go hiking." He cheerfully announced.
I smiled, knowing that Jack and his father are in good terms now.
"I'm happy to hear that you and him are in great shape now." I commented.
"Yeah." He muttered, letting out a sigh that I know is filled with gloom. "I gotta go now, alright?"
"Hey." I chirped. "Don't be so down. If you're worried about me, then don't be. I'll be fine." I assured him, not able to wore off my smile.
"Yeah. Just be careful over there ok?" He said. "I love you Sylvia."
"I love you too."

"Two bars of soap and one pack of coffee."
I continued reading my shopping list while pushing the cart in front of me. It's not quite a busy day here in the grocery store since it's saturday. Usually, the store has their busy schedules during the Weekdays.
As I busily pick some of the things I need from a shelf, I bumped into someone.
"Oh sorry!" We both exclaimed in unison.
As I lean down to pick the book that the stranger accidentally let go of, he did the same thing.
We both locked eyes onto each other, and that's when I fully recognize him.
"Detective Carson?"
Yes. The person in front of me is none other than Detective Carson. He is wearing a coffee brown polo shirt and a pair of black jeans matched with white sneakers.
"Oh! Sylvia you're here." He said in surprise before flashing a smile at me.
I returned the smile before speaking. "Nice to see you this morning. So what brings you here?" I asked.
"Just a little hooked up about buying this novel." He replied before showing me a copy of Stephen King's Carrie.
"Oh. The story of Carrie White huh?" I asked, quite amused since I watched the 90s Film version of the said novel.
"Yeah. The Girl who wields telekinetic powers and went bonkers at a prom night." He answered jokingly while playing with his hands as if he's trying to levitate something.
We both laughed at his little joke. Never knew this guy has a humorous side.
"So why did you bought that novel here in this store?" I asked curiously. "I mean there are some copies of that from the bookstore not too far from here." I stated.
"Nah. I didn't like the price they are giving me from there." He said, cringing at the thought, which made me chuckle in return. "They sell this novel here in a fair cash." He added.
"I see. So detective Car---"
"Please. Call me Jarred instead. I feel like it's too formal when you call me like that."
We both exchanged chuckles to each other. So Jarred's his first name huh?
"So where else will you go?" Carson— Jarred perhaps, asked.
"Just gonna go straight home after this." I answered while showing the shopping cart I am carrying.
"Ok." Jarred then cleared his throat. "Anyway Sylvia, I need to talk to you." He straightforwardly uttered. "It's really important for you to know. Just be ready to hear it."
Just be ready to hear it. That sentence made me gulped. Emotions, mostly anxiety and curiosity, flooded my mind. The way Jarred spoke is somewhat serious. I don't know what he's gonna tell me, but I feel like it is somehow urgent... and painful to hear.

We both drove by in silence. Jarred is planning to take me to the police department. I don't know why, but it's worth not to ask anymore. I stare at the window beside me, gazing at the gloomy view of the quiet town of Diamond Field. As usual, not much pedestrians and vehicles passing by. Just silent buildings stood around here.
Silence is still around us, so I decided to break it. "So what are you gonna tell me?" I asked.
"Just promise me you're not gonna flip out or be hysteric once you hear this." He said, soubding as calm as possible.
I just nod my head as a from of yes.
"You know the ongoing Diamond field Murders, right?"
Those words. Flashbacks of the previous things that has happened to me flashed in my mind. The Crystal wake University massacre... The murder of Ms. Hadenile... The party at the Winston's mansion... all of those spun around my head like a halo. I felt a slight ache from my heart. Of course, guilt started rising above me. But no, I'm not letting it consume me ever again. That's why I'm trying my best to track down this killer. Ending the murders is the only thing I can do now in order to redeem myself for all the innocent lives that were put in the mess I am facing right until now.
"Y-Yeah. I know that. Why?" I muttered.
"I know it may sound unbelievable, but one of your twin sisters is the killer."
Those words he let out made me felt a pain in my heart, like a knife slowly plunging itself to me. Is he serious about that? Because for me, it's totally unbelievable! A child can't be capable of murder, right? How dare he accused one of the twins as a murderer?
"No." I uttered, completely sounding unsatisfied. "That wouldn't be possible. A child isn't capable of murder." I defended, my face already crooked in disbelief.
"Doesn't have the capability?" He asked rather meaningfully.
"Yes! I mean look!" I answered, raising my voice a bit. "A child like My twin sisters can't kill, unless they are considered a psycho. But no! Holly and Molly are COMPLETELY fine and innocent."
"That's why I'm gonna show you the evidence. Just listen to me even just for once Sylvia." He said before pulling over in front of the police department. He then got out of his car and proceeds to open the door beside me. "Bear this in mind: Innocence is only a mask." He stated, gently pulling me out of his car.
His last sentence knocked my head hard as a rock. Does that mean Holly and Molly aren't innocent after all?

Tyler's POV:
I am in my room, lying on my bed while video chatting mom and dad on my Laptop.
I was facing away at my open door, so the laptop cam reflect what's behind me. The hallway is dimly lit since one of the lights from the ceiling is broken. There are 2 doorsto the left and another 2 from he right side of the hallway. Another is located at the end of the hallway also. Only the end of the hallway is dimly lit, almost dark to be exact since the weak shine of the light isn't powerful enough to reflect the whole second floor.
the 2 doors from the left leads to my parent's bedoom and to the bathroom. The doors on the right side leads to Sylvia's room and the door from the end of the hallway leads to the twins' bedroom.
"How are things going on around there Tyler?" Dad asked me, quite worried.
"Everything's fine dad." I assured my parents, giving them a warm grin. "The twins are doing good. Sylvia is fine too."
"Son. Your father and I heard the ongoimg murders over there in Diamond field." Mom stated, rubbing her hands nervously as she intently gazed at me from the laptop screen. "Are you sure you guys are alright? It was all over the news that you and Sylvia were part of the Crystal Wake university Massacre. And your Teacher was been murdered few weeks ago, right?" Mom went on and on. Dad even has to calm mom down. I can tell that she is worried sick about us here.
"Mom. I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys sooner, but I can assure you two that I'm doing my best to protect Sylvia and the twins." I assured them.
"Ok. I'm counting all of this To you for now Tyler. You be safe." Dad spoke.
"Mom? Dad? How much longer will you guys be there?" I asked them. To be honest, I'm getting impatient. I really want them to go home now. I really miss them. But out of all of my siblings, Sylvia is the one who misses them the most. Now I am not joking here. Sylvia really loves mom and dad. Her shy but soft personality is what makes mom and dad like her more. Even I myself must admit that I like Sylvia because of her sweet personality.
"Maybe around 1 week later." Dad answered, sounding a bit uncertain.
That was enough for meto form a smile on my face. Wait a little longer and they'll be home now.
"Hey Tyler. Who's that little girl waving from behind you?" That question Mom lets out made me feel a shiver down the spine.
"Wh-what do you mean?" I asked, trying to hide my nervousness.
"She's at the doorway from the twins' bedroom. Is that Holly or Molly? It's pretty quite dimly lit there." Dad commented, his eyes are squinting as if he is taking closer inspection of what is from behind me.
I knww something was up. I mean who would even see a random girl suddenly waving from the end of a dimly lit hallway? Call me overreacting, but it's quite not normal. It's out of the ordinary— overall creepy to be exact.
I turn my head to face my doorway. There was nothing from the hallway. I crooked my eyebrows in confusion, still nervous at the same time.
I turn my attention back to my parents.
"There is nothing from there mom. Maybe just your imagination." I said, trying my best to erase the unnerving thought inside my head. But then, things became more grisly right after dad had spoke.
"I can see it too. Is that one of the twins?"
I turn my head once again to the dimly lit hallway, Nothing.
"Mom, Dad. I'll call you guys later. Maybe it's one of the twins up to something again." I said before biding my farewells to them.
I know it's not one of the twins. I remembered that little psycho from Crystal wake again. It could be possible that it's her. I'm totally aware about Sylvia's situation until now, and as a brother, I'm gonna help her solve this mess even if it cost my life. The killer from Crystal Wake and Sylvia being put to that little psycho's sick fantasy made me think that the girl mom and dad saw is actually the same.
Having no means of defense, I quietly crept towards to the open bedroom of the twins. There was no sign of the girl, but I found something that was beyond terrifying.
I saw tons of red writings on the wall. They are written out from a red crayon. Things just went gut-crushing to me when I found out that some of the writings were written out from blood. Who could've made this twisted mess?
Family is forever
Sylvia
Kill
Blood
Hell
What made my knees quiver is because of one drawing on the wall.
The drawing seems to come from a child. The drawing has 6 dressed up stick figures in what seems to be them holding hands.
2 male and 4 female stick figures.
I noticed a message next to the drawing.
"KILL"
Now I finally realized it. The drawing is a depiction of me and my family.
I turned around in order to leave, but before I could do anything else, I felt a hard object striking my head.
I fell down onto the floor, my head throbbing from the impact. My vision is blurry, spinning around like a tornado. My eyes are heavy, and with that, I was met with darkness.
The last thing I heard before I completely lost consciousness is the evil giggle of a child.
Why her?

Sylvia's POV:
I went in the police station along with Jarred. Until now, I'm still contemplating if I should believe what Jarred is about to show me. It's probably more on the fifty-fifty side.
But I really don't wanna believe Jarred's words. Is he really that serious to say that one of my twin siblings is the killer? I know it's hard to believe it, but is there a possibility? Hopefully there's none.
I followed Jarred to the cctv room. There I saw a policewoman sitting on a chair, and a man wearing what seems to be like a detective outfit.
"Hey. This is Sylvia, the middle child of the Savana family." Jarred introduced me to his colleagues. "Sylvia, meet Shane Harvard and deputy Sarah Lartner."
the detective whose name is Shane, waved at me before giving me a flashy smile. the policewoman turned her attention to me and gave me a warm grin. I returned with a smile also.
"Sarah. Did you prepared the tape?" Jarred asked the policewoman, or Sarah rather.
"Yeah. Just a little bit rewinding will do." Sarah answered.
Sarah started rewinding the tape. It took quite a minute before it is done.
"Here Sylvia. See what your eyes must see." Jarred whispered right to my ear. It sent chills down my spine. I shrugged it off and proceed to focus my sight to the flat screen monitor.
I locked my eyes to the monochrome footage. I saw two identical figures in similar dresses in what seems to be a grocery store. I quickly recognized who they are: It is the twins!
One of them took a butcher knife from a shelf. I don't know which one of them is picking the knife due to the fact that they are facing away from the camera. Things only went harder for me due to the fact that the footage is in black and white colors, rendering my observation to the colors of their dresses useless. My eyebrows crooked in confusion, noticing that they aren't wearing their bracelets that I gave to them.
The twin who is wielding the knife marched towards a woman who is busy looking at the shelves. The twin who is holding the knife is going to stab the woman, but the woman quickly noticed this and pushed the knife-wielding girl away, dropping the sharp blade in the process.
The woman took the opportunity and scrambled towards the knife up. She was about to stab the twins when two security guards apprehended her.
At this point, I felt my tears almost falling. But I fought the urge not to let it fall. I don't want to believe that one of my twin sisters is the killer. I tried to believe myself that the two identical girls from the camera footage aren't my sisters, but something changed that. My heart sank, suddenly seeing Tyler on the footage, aiding the two identical girls.
"S-stop it. Stop!" I sobbed, facing away from the camera.
They're doing such things behind my back all along? No. It can't be. None of them is the killer, right?!
I couldn't handle the pain I am enduring right now, so I walked away from the CCTV room and out of the police department without even biding a farewell to Jarred and his colleagues.
I felt the cold breeze slowly spinning around me as I rushed out of the glass door. I let my tears slowly trickle down my face as I focused my sight at the blue sky.
All this time, the twins are lying to me. They weren't innocent after all.
"Sylvia!" I heard Jarred's voice from behind.
I didn't turn my attention to him. I felt one of his warm hand on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry." He muttered. I can read the emotion in his voice. He felt sorry.
"N-no Jarred. It's fine." I wiped a tear away. I then turned myself around to face him. "What I'm just mad about is that, all this time, my twin sisters are hiding their true dark colors from me." I smiled bitterly, a flash of Holly and Molly's innocent faces appeared before me in a split second. "A-all this time, they are murdering innocent people. All this time, they are the ones who made me the center focus of their sick games." I then took a step closer to Jarred. "And you know what else I am mad about?" I asked him, pressing a finger to the side of my head as hard as a stone. "It's the fact that I am too numb and too foolish to notice it. I'm mad because even right now, I'm still in denial from the fact that one of my twin siblings IS the killer all along." Every word I let out is full of pain and sorrow. I wiped my tears. I never felt so betrayed before. "I'm too naive for godd*mn sake!" I blurted, gripping my hair tightly in frustration.
I felt Jarred's arm slowly wrapped around me. I just buried my face to his chest and cry. I can't handle this anymore.
"I'm sorry Sylvia." He whispered beside my ear solemnly.
"I just want all of this to be over now." I muttered.
"Don't worry. I'll help you get through this... Promise."

We were just driving by in silence. Jarred decided to drive me home. I was too depressed to decline so I let him do his thing.
In a daze, I stare out of the window beside me; watching the trees we were passing by.
We are almost at my house, but I saw something from ahead that made my heart pound faster. There are a couple of police patrol parked in front of the big gate. One ambulance is parked at the side of the gate too.
"What the hell?" I heard Jarred muttered under his breath.
I felt the car speeding up. We stopped right in front of the house. I was the first one who got out. I quickly fastened up my pace towards the gate, but few guards blocked my path.
"Maam. You can't go further. It's a crime scene here." Said one guard.
"What? But—" I wasn't able to finish my sentence 'cause Jarred barged between me and the guard.
"No. It's ok." He said before showing his badge to the 3 cops. "I'm with her."
The 3 cops finally let us go in. I follow Jarred as we ran towards the house.
There are a couple of cops examining things around the house, others would take photographs. I bypassed the flashes and proceed to follow Jarred.
I just realized how much the house is a mess. there are a lot of fragile objects shattered on the floor. Some of the paintings on the wall were either broken or torn apart. A couple of chairs and small tables were flipped over. Bizarre writings were written all over the walls.
I didn't took further notice of it. I took a sprint up the stairs. I froze, the 2nd floor is quite a mess too.
The first room that I entered is the twins' bedroom. How I regretted entering too soon.
I was beyond terrified to see the red writings on the wall. A couple of cops were taking pictures of it. What made my color on my face drain is the familiar figure lying on the floor.
I felt like my world is ending. My heart ached, not able to held back my tears.
2 medics were checking up on him. The man on the floor is none other than Tyler. And I can see... a large cut on his throat.
