Hero
As it got closer Faya stumbled over, hitting the ground and placed an arm over her face waiting for the attack. Her body was aching and she peaked her eyes open, briefly seeing a light fade away and Bloom set the thing on fire, Aisha using her powers to do something and Terra try and restrain it.
Sky came running in, stabbing it and watched it start to click out in pain. He rushed to Faya, helping her up and she hissed in pain feeling her ankle throb.
"Don't!" She shouted, still hearing thoughts, but not from any of her friends.. or Stella. It lunged for the group of girls, then the middle of it lit up and clicked again, dropping down dead. Faya let out a sigh of relief. Focusing on Sky's thoughts, his thoughts weren't the best of things to hear, he was worried about Saul but it was in a calming tone.
"All of you, head back, I need to talk with Faya."
"Miss Dowling, this wasn't her-" Sky started
"Sky." She said, he gave a small huff, making sure she was secure to stand and walked off.
"I can see memories, they're foggy. They're not of anyone I've met. Could they or could've been humans?" Faya explained, Farah sighed and shook her head.
"It could be possible, if you can see memories and hear thoughts of no one that's around. it's possible." She said, then gave the girl a look. Faya grimaced nodding, preparing herself.
"You were stupid, very foolish. But I know right now that you are already lecturing yourself and know that you will be giving yourself a consequence. Faya, you're doing well." She hid my smile and nodded, walking back to castle but they passed the waterfall on the way and Faya grabbed her jacket. She placed it on and walked to the greenhouse with Farah's permission to check on Saul.
He was standing, a healthy look covering his face as he heard the door open. He rushed over, once again giving Faya the stern fatherly look.
"You are an idiot, reckless and an incredibly stupid idiot." He said, pointing a finger at the girl. She sheepishly grinned at him. Nodding and didn't stop his lecture. But unintentionally read his thoughts and smiled cheekily.
"I know and I now know that you are proud that I took that thing on." He rolled his eyes, shaking his head.
"Are you alright though?" She asked, he nodded and the girl sighed in relief. Hugging him tightly, glad she didn't lose him. He hugged her back, holding her head in his hand.
"Thank you." He whispered, she smiled at him and nodded. Faya swiped away her tears of joy. He smiled at her proudly and winked. She chuckled and walked out, heading for the suite stairs. Faya saw the girls sitting on the stairs, she also saw Sky walking out from another hallway. He stood at her side and looked at the girls. Faya was tired, drunk and everything seemed a bit louder, struggling slightly to listen to one person's thoughts.
Why does Farah keep lying, she's hiding something about Rosalind and my past. Bloom thought, angrily.
Bloom better be done with all this Rosalind crap. Aisha ranted, glaring at Bloom and continued to think thoughts along the same line.
Maybe just ask Dane tomorrow, see how it goes. Or not, yeah maybe not. Terra rambled, tilting her head side to side as she tried to think of her decision.
Should I tell Terra I'm seeing her brother? I can't deal with anymore of her negative feelings. But I can't let her get hurt. Musa stared around the room, crossing her arms across her chest.
These people are too annoying, bloody Faya and freaking Riven for telling her about Ricki. Stella rolled her eyes at the thought of Faya's name, shooting her daggers as she gave Faya a bitchy look.
It was all hitting Faya at once, the alcohol wasn't helping and she was forgetting briefly what she had been learning with Farah.
Faya, look at me. Sky's gentle voice filled her head. She looked at him, feeling her head start to hurt again. She stumbled a little and quickly regained balance. His hands were on her hips, holding the girl up right and he looked at her softly.
Faya, it's okay. Remember their thoughts are your chaos. I've got you. Faya nodded slightly, taking a deep breath and just focused on his thoughts. He was calm, his thoughts were comforting and it was all that needed to calm her down.
The girls walked up the stairs, Stella not going up. Faya looked at Stella and stepped away from Sky.
Faya, just stand around the corner. I want to talk with you. She nodded at him, it was like he was whispering in her ear. His thoughts were that gentle, quiet and reassuring. She headed for a hall, standing in the corner and waited fo Sky to come back.
"Hey." He quietly said, Faya looked at him and smiled.
"Hi." She whispered, she was holding her jacket in her hands.
"Did I get you in any trouble?" He kindly asked, she shook her head and smiled gently at him.
"Any headaches or pain?" He softly asked.
"A little bit of one, but that might be a hangover or from the burned one. I don't know." He nodded, frowning slightly and brushed away some dirt from her face. She grinned at him, taking a deep breath and blinked a couple of times feeling tired.
"Did you see Silva?" He asked, a smile planted on his lips. She nodded and smiled happily.
"Yeah, he's looking quite better." She was joyful over his recovery and she could see Sky was too. Sky furrowed his eyebrows, seeing a red stain on her white shirt, it was increasing over her shoulder.
"You're bleeding." Her eyes widened and she looked at her shoulder to see the blood. Faya could feel the pain on her back and whimpered slightly.
"Crap." She muttered, hissing as the fabric moved against the wound.
"I'll fix it up." He said, placing his hand on her lower back. She nodded and followed him to his dorm. Faya was thinking, wanting to say something but couldn't think get her tongue around the words.
"Is everything with you and Stella alright? You don't have to tell me, I just want to make sure. " She didn't give a crap about Stella, but she did care about Sky. He looked at her, smiling softly and nodded at her.
"I was stupid to go back to her, I was stupid to give her another chance. I don't know what to do." She nodded, rubbing his back gently. He looked at her, a grateful look in his eyes. He wished they knew each other better, he could see she was anyone's safety net.
"You'll find the one some day soon." She reassured and came to a stop. Sky looked at her worriedly, she blinked a few times. Placing a hand on her head, she winced and looked up at Sky.
"What's wrong? Is it your headache, your magic?" She shook her head, it was neither of the things.
"I'm just feeling a little dizzy and lightheaded."
"You're probably losing too much blood, we're almost there." He kept an arm wrapped around her so she wouldn't fall and so she could walk a little bit better. They reached his dorm, Sky was so relieved that Riven wasn't in there with some girl. He sat Faya down on his bed, walking to the bathroom and grabbed a first aid kit.
"How do you deal with the smell of Riven's vape crap?" She asked watching him get some bandages and rubbing alcohol.
"You get use to it after a while." He said and sat next to her. He realised she had to take her shirt off to get to the wound. Faya's cheeks tinted a violent red and she looked away shyly.
"I can look away if that's any easier?" He suggested, she nodded and made sure he was turned away and took off her shirt. She quickly grabbed her jacket and held it against her chest.
"Ready." She whispered, feeling a gush of wind hit her skin.
"I, uh- um..." He stammered, Faya read his thoughts and nodded. She lowered her bra strap and waited. She hissed feeling the alcohol hit her open wound and clenched her eyes shut.
"Sorry." He gently said and continued to dab the wound. Faya stared at the wall, not wanting to look at him at the very moment. Her heart was racing and she was feeling incredibly nervous. Sky placed the rubbing alcohol down as well as the cotton wool balls.
"It doesn't look too deep. Doesn't need stitches." She sighed in relief and nodded, feeling him place a large dressing bandage over the wound and some of it was on her shoulder. Sky grabbed a shirt from his drawers and handed it to the girl.
"T-thank you." She stammered, quickly fixing up her bra strap and placed the shirt on.
