Elijah pov
I was shocked. I had been on the wall stabbed through the heart by one of the Salvatore brothers. I had been unconscious than I had woken up to find myself lying on a bed just fine. How did this happen? Then I heard a voice I was very familiar with.
" Good to see you awake big brother." I sat up to see my sister Annamarie. My siblings and I one weakness.

Annamarie was not the eldest but she was the strongest and most powerful. She was a witch and vampire. The only of her kind. She was our one weakness. The one person that could change us for the better. And right now the only one of my siblings I could fully trust.

Annamarie pov
I saw Elijah keeping quiet. I smiled softly.
" Don't I get a hello?" He chuckled and came over to me. We hugged tightly. I buried my face into his chest.
" I missed you." I whispered.
" I missed you also my sweet Anna. I thought Niklaus had gotten to you." I giggled and backed up.
"You know me Eli. Nik can't hurt me." He chuckled at the old nickname. Than he picked me up and spun me around. I giggled and than hugged his neck.
" I'm sorry for leaving you alone." Elijah put a hand on my head and smiled gently.
" It's fine little Anna. I know you did what was best." I nodded.
" Now. Let's go stop Nik shall we?"
"About that. Anna. You know I love you and don't want to make you upset but......." I smiled softly.
" I know Eli. Nik has to be stopped."
" So you'll help."
" Don't I always?" He chuckled.
" I suppose you do. But I'm afraid we have to make a little deal first." I tilted my head.
"With the Petrova girl?" I asked.
" Yes." I nodded.
" Let me get changed than." He chuckled and let me get changed into better clothes.

Minus necklace for clothes for the next week.

A week later
I woke up to find Elijah next to me. I got up and got dressed. Once I was changed we went to the girl's house.

Elijah rang the doorbell and it was answered by a young woman.
" Hello. May I help you?"
" Yes. I'm Elijah Smith and this is my sister Anna. We're writing an article on Mystic Falls and we heard you could be of some help. You're Jenna right?"
"Oh. You're the ones Mrs. Lockwood mentioned. Come in."
" Thank you."
" It's nothing."

Jenna brought us to the kitchen and we talked.

Than we waited while she got some boxes. We heard her talk to Elena.
" I got roped into helping Mrs. Lockwood. And by roped I mean excited participant." She shut the closet door revealing us. Elena jumped in shock.
" Hey. I'm Elijah and this is Anna."
"They're doing research on Mystic Falls." Elijah went over and shook hands with Elena. Jenna went over.
" So you're both welcome to stay here and rummage through this stuff or Elena and I can help you two load it into your car." Elijah spoke.
" Or we can just have someone get the stuff tomorrow."
" That's a good plan."
" Well thank you so much for inviting us into your home." We appeared to be walking out.
" And Elena. I hope to see you again sometime."

Elena ran upstairs and went to get her brother. But Elijah and I stopped her. She lied to Jeremy and got him away. Than we went to her bedroom.

" Forgive the intrusion. I mean your family no harm."
"Why did you kill those vampires when they tried to take me?"
"Because I didn't want you to be taken. Klaus is the most feared and hated of the Originals, but those that fear him are desperate for his approval. If word gets out that the doppelganger exists, there'll be a line of vampires eager to take you to him, and I can't have that."
"Isn't that exactly what you're trying to do? Both of you?" I sighed and sat down.
"Let's just say that our goal is not to break the curse."
"So what is your goal?"
" Klaus' obsessions have made him paranoid. He's a recluse. He trusts only those in his immediate circle."
" Like you two?" I rolled my eyes. Eli spoke.
" Not anymore."
" You don't know where he is, do you?"
" Look at that. The doppelganger is smart after all."
" So you're trying to use me to draw him out." Elena said.
" Well, to do that, I need you to stay put and stop trying to get yourself killed."
" How do I know you're telling the truth?" I answered.
" Honestly sweetheart if we weren't being truthful, all your family would be dead and we'd be taking you to Klaus right now."
" Anna." Elijah looked at Elena.
" Instead. We're here, and we're prepared to offer you a deal."
" What kind of a deal?"
" Do nothing. Do nothing, live your life, stop fighting. And then, when the time is right, you and I shall draw Klaus out together, and I shall make certain that your friends remain unharmed."
" And then what?"
" And then we kill him." I said.
" Just like that?" Lijah answered her.
" Just like that. We keep our word, Elena. We make a deal, we keep a deal."
" How are you going to be able to keep everyone safe?"
" You know, I notice you have a friend, Bonnie, is it? She seems to possess the gift of magic. I have friends with similar gifts."
" You know witches."
" Together we can protect everybody that matters to you. So do we have a deal?"
" I need you to do one thing for me."
" We're negotiating now?"
" Yes. I want Stefan out of the tomb." I smirked.
" That's all sweetheart?"
" That's all." Elijah and I shared a look. I shrugged. He turned to Elena.
" Very well. Consider it done."

Lijah and I sped off.

Lijah had his friend release the tomb spell. We went down. It wasn't long before Katherine appeared with Stefan Salvatore. Katerina looked scared.
" Elijah. Anna." Elijah spoke.
" Good evening, Katerina. Thank you for having the good sense to be frightened." I smirked.
" Hello Katerina. Having a nice time?" Elijah looked at the younger Salvatore and spoke.
" Your release has been requested."
" What? By who?"
" The lovely Elena drives a hard bargain. However, we reached a peaceful agreement, she and I. Please. Come."
" I can't."
" Yes you can. I've had the spell lifted." Stefan walked up and out. Just then Katerina tried to escape. Eli sped in front of her.
" As for you, however, you shall not exit until I say so. When Klaus comes, he'll want to know exactly where you are." Elijah turned after he finished the compulsion on Katerina. I smirked.
" Poor child. You're going to end up exactly where you were all those years ago. Sacrificed." Elijah spoke to Stefan.
" You're free to go. Elena will explain the arrangement to you. If she keeps her word, I'll keep mine." We took off.
