Meghan pov
I waited by the window for my father. He was coming home soon I hoped. Mother chuckled and spoke.
" Meghan. Your father will be here very soon." I nodded my head and kept waiting. Finally I saw him approaching the house. I ran outside and straight into his arms.
"Papa!" He chuckled and picked me up spinning me around.
" Hello little angel." I giggled and kissed his cheek.
" What took you so long father?"
" It was a long day Meghan." He kissed my forehead then set me down.
" Let's go inside. Your mother will be upset with me if we stay out here." I nodded and went inside with my father. I admired him more then anything.

Many years later
I woke up to bright lights. Something was different. Everything looked different around me. It was clearer and I could hear better. Suddenly I felt the bed dip. I looked to see someone I thought had died a long time ago.
" Father?"
" Hello little angel." I was shocked. I sat up and hugged him tightly. He chuckled and hugged me back.
" What happened?" He sighed and brushed his hand against my cheek.
" I'm sorry. You were dying and I had to do something. So I turned you."
"Turned me?" He nodded his head then spoke with remorse.
" I turned you into a vampire." I looked shocked. I was a vampire. That would mean he was a vampire. Then I looked at my father. I saw the worry and fear in his eyes. I hugged him.
" Thank you for saving me papa." He stiffened then sighed with relief and hugged me.
" Of course my little lily."

Many many many years later
I was running through the woods with Rose. We had decided to go hunting. I now had a sister and brother. And a new mother. I was excited and happy that it wasn't just me and dad anymore.

While we were running I smelled human blood. I sped to find a bear attacking a man. Rose and I shared a look and nodded. We attacked at the same time and easily took the bear down. Then I sped to the guy. He had black hair and his eyes were closed. I listened for his heartbeat. It was there. Faint but there. Rose had sped over to me. I grabbed this male and noticed blood everywhere. I sped home with this male.

Edward immediately opened the door. I nodded in thanks. Edward pulled Rose close to him. Dad sped down and noticed what was going on. He motioned for me to put the man down. I did so and then dad and I got to work. We turned this man. Now we just had to wait for him to wake up.

Emmett pov
I woke up to find myself lying on a bed. I sat straight up and winced. Then everything came rushing back to me.

I had been in the woods. Being attacked by a bear. Than I had felt someone come to me and hold me.

The door opened to reveal a man with blond hair and golden eyes. He noticed I was awake.
"Ah. You woke up."
" Where am I? What happened?" He came over to me.
"Later. Right now I need to check up on you. How are you feeling?"
" Tired. And thirsty."
" Well that's a good sign. I'm Carlisle. My daughter Meghan and my adopted daughter Rose found you and brought you here." I nodded my head.
" Can I speak to her?" He smiled.
" Of course. I'll go get Meg. She'll explain everything." He left and it wasn't long before a girl came in. I could tell she was the daughter of Carlisle. She had the same blond hair and golden eyes and the same kind and caring nature as Carlisle.
" Hi. Dad said you wanted to see me."
" You're the one who saved me?" I asked. She smiled.
" Yeah. You could say that. I'm Meghan."
"Emmett. That bear......."
" Um. Well. Rose and I kinda took it down." I looked shocked.
" How?" She smiled and took my hand. I felt something. A tiny shock. She looked surprised then smiled.
" Come on. I'll tell you." She pulled me downstairs.

When we got down I saw a woman standing in the kitchen with Carlisle. A young man was with them. He had copper hair and golden eyes. The woman smiled and walked up.
"You're awake I see." Meghan spoke.
" Emmett this is my mother Esme. And this is Edward. My adopted brother and Rose's boyfriend." Edward nodded his head.
" Hey." Carlisle looked at his daughter.
" Meg. Have you told him yet?" She shook her head.
" I'll tell him now." She grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.

Meghan pov
Once Emmett and I got far enough away I told him everything. He was shocked but thought it was cool that I, and now he, was a vampire. We hunted and he did well.

After, we sat by a waterfall and I explained about mates.
"So I'm your mate?" I nodded my head.
" Yep." He smiled.
" That's pretty cool." I chuckled and then leaned over. We kissed for the first time. Emmett pulled me close and I put my arms around his neck. Then I pulled away.
" Maybe we should take this to the bedroom." I said. Emmett laughed and then nodded.
" Yeah. Let's do that."

I pulled him to my bedroom which would now become our bedroom.

I pulled Emmett to the bed and threw him down. We kissed deeply and tore each other's clothes off. That night we marked each other and spent a night together for the first time. Afterwards we cuddled.

I felt Emmett kiss my head then he spoke.
" You're amazing." I smiled and curled into him.
" You're not so bad yourself." He laughed and pinched me lightly. I was so thankful to finally have found my mate.
