Pink's P.O.V.

Shit! The cops were here. This was not good.

"Hide the weed." Slater said. I took Dani's hand and we all went out of the field.

"Y'all know this is private property right?" The cop asked.

"Yes sir it is." Wooderson replied.

"Wooderson trying to relive those glory days?"

"Well at least I'm better off than you." He sassed.

"Randall Floyd! Get over here!" Coach yelled from his truck. I rolled my eyes and let go of Dani's hand and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"I'll be right back." I said as she nodded her head.

"Randall Floyd I hope you and Don can explain this."

"We were just hanging out coach."

"Have you signed that paper yet?"

"I'm still thinking about it."

"Don't think son just do it! You're our star player we need you. I warned you about hanging with these hooligans and that hippie girl of yours."

"I may play ball next fall, but I will never sign that. Now me and my loser friends are gonna head out to buy Aerosmith tickets. Top priority of the summer." I sassed as I crumbled up the paper and threw it at him.

"You did it babe I'm so proud of you!" Dani said as I pulled her into a hug and spun her around.

"Good job man!" Don said as he gave me a pat on the back.

"Let's go get those tickets!" Wooderson said as we packed in his car.

I have never felt so alive and free! I stood up to Coach. I've never done that before.

The car ride was awesome! Everything felt like a movie and I couldn't help but smile and laugh for the first time in a long time.
