Dani's P.O.V.

I pulled up to the place that I like to call hell aka Lee High School. Today is my last day of school as a junior thank Jesus only one more year in this hell hole! I parked my '71 Volkswagen Beetle next to my best friend Jodi Kramer who drove a truck.

When I got out, she greeted me with the biggest hug. "I can't believe this is the last day as juniors!" she squealed. I looked at her and laughed, "Yeah I know we're gonna rule the school! I mean you will I won't." "Dani! Don't say that it's you and me against the world." I smiled as she said that.

You see here, I hang out with the popular kids, but I'm not that popular myself. Like, I feel like I'm an outsider but I'm not it's weird. As we walked in the school, I felt someone come up behind me and smack my ass. I yelped and turned around to discover that it was one of my best friends, Randy or "Pink" as we like to call him. "PINK! I SWEAR TO GOD I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!" I yelled. He just laughed and said, "Try me, bitch." I rolled my eyes and kept walking with Jodi to meet up with the rest of the gang which was Shavonne, Don, Benny, and Melvin.

Now let's talk about Pink for a minute or two. Pink has been my best friend since we were babies. We were inseparable until freshman year of high school. That was when he started playing on the football team and became extremely popular. Every girl drooled over him and unfortunately I was one of them. I have always had a crush on him but it started getting worse this school year when Pink started dating Simone Kerr.

Skip to class time

There was no one in class so Jodi, Shavonne and I decided to skip class and take a smoke in the bathroom. "I heard that Simone cheated on Pink with Benny last night." said Shavonne as she took a drag. I immediately began coughing and spit out my water, "WHAT NOW?!" "Yeah apparently she's been cheating on him for months and he has no idea." Jodi explained to me. I was shocked maybe there's a posibility that Pink will come to his senses and pick me but I don't think that's possible.
