Hoseok's POV
With Haru's phone case in my hand I made my way to her room a little further down the hallway. She had taken it off and put it away as I couldn't stop teasing her about the fangirl she was. I never sleep great when I'm drunk and something hard was on my bed, keeping me awake. Not gonna lie, for a moment I thought it was a pea...and I thought I was a princess..
Anyways, it was just her phone case.
I stumbled down the hallway, wobbling a bit due to the wine earlier. As I got to her room, I stormed in, "Haru you forgot this in my room." I said.
"Hyung?" A husky voice surprised me.
I turned around to find the light switch and was ready to beat whoever was in here although I recognised the voice.
"Jimin?" I said and squinted my eyes due to the sharp light.
"Shh, she's sleeping." Jimin got up from the bed.
"Thanks, I'll give it to her." He said and grabbed the phone case from my hand.
"Great, have a good night sleep." I winked and went to exit the room.
"Wait hyung," Jimin put his hand on my shoulder.
"Hmm?"
"Can I talk to you some time?" He whispered, his eyes downturned.
"Sure," I smiled and went to sit down on the bed. The bed creaked as I slowly placed my butt on it, causing Haru to make a few noises, but she quickly got quiet again.
"Talk to me." I gave him a big smile.
"Hyung not now." Jimin chuckled and helped me get up from the bed again.
"I need to talk to you alone...and sober." He smiled as he helped me out of the room and down the hallway to my own room.
"It's about Haru."
"Haru? I like Haru. She's my sister." I mumbled smiling while getting in bed.
"You know, I'm on her phone case." I bragged.
"We all are hyung." Jimin chuckled, "Goodnight." He turned off the lights and left me to sleep.
"So what's on your mind?"
Jimin had texted me to meet me in his room after he finished something with Haru. I didn't know why but his text seemed not as cheery as it usually does. That's just something I can sense, don't question it.
"Do you remember last night?" He said and sat down on the bed. I was seated on the floor leaning against the door.
"Umm... Haru and I was hanging." I said, "And now I have a throbbing headache." I laughed and put a hand to my forehead.
"Yeah," Jimin chuckled.
Taking a deep breath, he opened his mouth again, "So yesterday after you and Haru was done drinking, I found her in Jungkook's room."
His eyes sought for advice in mine but I almost fell over laughing, "She got that drunk?"
"I don't know..."
I stopped laughing, seeing Jimin's downturned mouth and discouraged eyes.
"Recently I've had this feeling... I mean...do you remember when Haru, Jungkook and I went to that concert the other night?"
I nodded and put my hands together.
"I went to the toilet and when I got back Jungkook and Haru was hugging." He let out a sigh.
"Hmm?" I said, giving him time to tell me more.
"I mean, Haru's terrified of fireworks and was probably just scared, but they were hugging for a while." Jimin put his arms on his knees with his head in his hands.
"Jimin, you're overthinking." I smile.
It's cute seeing Jimin this worried about something stupid like that. I've actually never experienced him liking someone, but it really suits him.
"No hyung! The other night when Haru, Taehyung, Jungkook and I went to a club.. Haru went home earlier. I don't know why, but she seemed down. And she didn't want me to take her home."
"Haru probably misses her family and friends at home. You know how that feels." I smile at Jimin in front of me, ruffling his hair.
"..but not soon after Jungkook had left too!"
I took a moment to answer.
"Haru likes you Jimin, don't doubt that. All these are coincidences I'm sure of it!" I said and got up from my spot on the floor to go pad him on the back.
"Then why was Haru in Jungkook's room last night!?" He got up from the bed and now looked me in the eyes. I could see him fighting against the tears in his eyes.
Wait, Haru did actually say she kept talking about Jungkook at home... and her friend did ask about him on the call...
"Why did she ask about Jungkook?" Taehyung asked.
"Fine! Back home I never stopped talking about him okay!?" Haru said and made Taehyung and I roll over laughing.
Of course she had a major crush on our maknae
"Stop it! It's not even that funny." She said, "Don't tell anyone!"
"What's going on in here?" Just as summoned, our maknae entered the room and Taehyung and I was on the floor laughing again.
"She got drunk last night. She probably couldn't find her own bedroom." I said, hoping I was right.
She wouldn't do anything to hurt Jimin..
Jimin scoffed and walked back and forth making me fidget nervously with my hands.
"What did you do when you saw her in his room?" I questioned, not knowing what else to say.
"I entered the room."
"And?"
"And then I followed Haru to her own room."
"And?"
"And then you came in." He huffed slightly annoyed.
"I came in??" I questioned shocked.
"Yes, you came to give her her phone case."
"And this was in the middle of the night??" I said and closed my eyes, trying to remember.
"Hyung this isn't important right now!" Jimin exclaimed.
"Yeah you're right." I laughed lightly.
"So Haru went with you?"
"Yes?"
"Without saying anything?"
Jimin's eyes rolled up, thinking hard before answering, "Yes."
"Without restraining?"
"Hyung I already said yes!" Jimin raised his voice.
"You see! She didn't even question why to follow you...she just did."
"So?"
"If she really wanted to be with Jungkook, don't you think she would've made an effort to stay in that room with him? Especially if she was drunk... But she blindly went with you. Cause she likes you." I said, proud of my argumentations.
"You really think so?" Jimin asked, his insecure voice hitting me deep down.
"Jimin I can see in the way she looks at you, the way she talks about you and the way she acts around you that she really does care about you." I said.
Jimin sighed and sat down next to me on the bed again.
"You're totally overthinking all of this my brother." I smiled at him, trying to lighten up the mood again.
"Trust me."
"Trust me trust me trust me trust me~" I gently punched him, using him as a punching bag to cheer him up. And his mouth, as expected, curled up into a smile.
"Stop it hyung." He nudged me laughingly.
A short moment of silence hit and I got up to leave.
"But Jimin..most importantly..." Jimin's eyes shot up to mine ready to listen.
"Trust her."
Haru's POV
"Jimin wait!" I yelled just before he left the room.
I can't keep doing this to him..
"Mhm?" He hummed, his hand hovering over the handle.
Our eyes locking and the slight smile on his face made it hard for me to tell him.
"Um.. nothing, I forgot." I said with a chuckle.
"Why did you leave last night?" I added to start a conversation. I didn't want to start packing.
"Weren't you sleeping?" He smiled at me.
"I mean...yes I was." I smiled back.
"Haru, don't waste time, Hoseok is waiting for me and you need to start packing."
"But I don't want to~" I pouted.
"But you have to~" He mocked me and grabbed the door handle.
I stuck my tongue out at him as he disappeared behind the door with a smile.
I don't deserve him
The tour was coming to an end and the thoughts and worries about where to go afterwards was starting to really bother me. I was almost sure that if I actually decided to go home, my mom would let me stay, no matter if my dad would like it or not... but I was really unsure If I wanted to live there and if I could handle living with my dad...
Soomin was way too good of a friend to burden her with me. She wasn't even an option.
I went to the lobby to get my mind on other things. I settled in a chair near the entrance, but people and families walking by and the weather just as depressing as my thoughts, didn't help my mood and got me even more despaired.
"And what about Jimin and Jungkook?" I mumbled to myself, fiddling with my necklace I once had bought, dreaming that Jungkook had given it to me.
What was gonna happen when the tour ended? I was scared of never seeing my boys again... especially Jimin and Jungkook. The feelings I had developed for Jimin and the ones he had for me... is that just what you call a 'summer fling'?
What about Jungkook? Why has he kept teasing me all along this tour, making it impossible for me to resist?
Hobi... Hoseok had become a genuine friend of mine. He always listened to me, gave me advice and made me cheer up, without even needing a reason for me being in a bad mood.
And I can't lie... Tae's straightforwardness... I'm gonna miss that too.
And just in general all of them.
"I'm not ready to leave yet." I sighed, slumping into the back of the chair, looking out the window next to me.
Jungkook's POV
Namjoon had sent me to return our keys to the receptionist. We were leaving for our last concert tomorrow and then finally we would go home and get some rest. I did nothing but enjoy the tour, but I was exhausted by all the hard and constant work.
"206." I said and handed the lady behind the desk the keys in my hand.
"Thank you." She smiled politely.
I returned the smile and turned round to head back to my room, but stopped as my eyes spotted Haru sitting all alone looking just as grey as the weather outside.
"How am I in your dreams?" I questioned, taken aback by her straightforwardness.
"My boyfriend." She answered and turned to look at me. Her glossy eyes, twinkling by the moonlight seeking in from the window behind me.
Jimin is one lucky man...
I wrapped my arm around her, enjoying the moment I reckoned was a drunk mistake on her part.
She wants Jimin, Jungkook... not you
"I hate loving you." She whispered.
My movements stiffened, surprised by the sudden confession.
"You what!?" I questioned dumbfounded.
"Haru?"
I walked up to her and sat down across from her. I looked out the glass wall and onto the street, at the people walking by seeking shelters not to get drenched in the now pouring rain, while ignoring her gaze on me.
"Hello?" She said and I looked at her with a confused expression, "What?"
"I don't know what? Why'd you sit?" She asked, her forehead wrinkling.
Doesn't she remember last night?
"I don't know, you seemed down?" I said, still looking out the window.
"Why would you care?" She snorted.
"Like you even care!"
"You never cared about me! Don't start now."
The phone call between Haru and her dad popped up in my head.
"Maybe I do." I said.
"What?" She said and I finally turned to look in her eyes. Her glossy eyes.
"You're not gonna cry now are you?" I said with a chuckle and made a smile appear on her face.
That damn smile. A smile that should be illegal... it's almost dangerous to look at.
She closed her mouth, hiding her smile from me.
"What are you starring at?" She asked with the smallest voice I've ever heard.
Doesn't she know how attractive she is?
"Can't I even look at you now?" I snarled and she huffed.
A short moment of silence hit, while my eyes were fixed on her as she looked out the window.
"You're beautiful." I added.
Her lips curved into yet another smile. This time, a shy one. A smile that is somehow cruelly turning me on.
