Jessica was super nervous about today because everyone is meeting Grayson and Paisley.

Evan has reassured her that everything is alright but she's really nervous, always has been since she was young.

"Mommy, are your friends nice?" Paisley asked her.

"Yes and their not just my friends anymore, they'll be family to you two as well." Jessica said.

"What if they don't like us?" Grayson questioned.

"Bud, they'll love you more than anything." Evan said as Jessica smiled.

"Can I bring my stuffed dinosaur down here?" Grayson asked as they knew it was something he never went anywhere without since he got it.

"Of course baby." Jessica said as Grayson raced upstairs to get it.

"Are you ready for them to meet our family?" Evan asked Jessica, who's stomach was doing somersaults.

"I am, but I'm nervous about the kids meeting them and our family meeting the kids." Jessica said as Evan kissed her.

"Everything will be okay baby. We're going to have a great time and don't worry so much." Evan said as Jessica was on edge.

...

Soon, the doorbell rang and everyone filed into their living room as the kids were looking from where they were standing there, looking for their Aunt Sarah.

"Aunt Sarah!" The kids screamed as they lunged themselves onto her.

"Hi kids. How are y'all?" Sarah asked as Paisley let go first but Grayson was hesitant on letting go until Jessica came over and stood beside of her.

"We're good Aunt Sarah. We're just waiting for dinner." Paisley said.

"Speaking of which, what is for dinner?" Someone asked.

"Spaghetti with salad and garlic bread." Evan said.

"Sounds great!" Sarah said as everyone followed Evan and Jessica to their dining room.

...

Everyone has already been seated and food was done being passed around as Evan tapped on his glass with a butter knife.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for being here this evening as we'd like to say how much it means to us that you're here." Evan said as he looked at Jessica and their kids.

"We love each and every individual person in this room and now, that love will spread even more now that we have two more kids for y'all to love." Jessica said.

"To Grayson and Paisley, welcome to the family." Jessica's son toasted as Jessica smiled and looked at her children with more love than anyone could wish they had.

...

Later on that night

Evan and Jessica gave the kids their baths after dinner and dessert as they read them stories and kissed them goodnight as they headed into their bedroom to do the same routine.

"I think the kids really enjoyed themselves tonight." Jessica said as she appeared with her wet hair from being in the shower.

"I believe they did too, it was different for them." Evan said.

"Their just not used to a lot of people but they will as time goes on and honestly, I think tonight was a success." Jessica said as they brushed their teeth together and turned out the lights as they cuddled in bed.

"They'll be fine baby. Shyness is all apart of a child's development." Evan said.

"Kinda like you were when you first met me?" Jessica asked as Evan smiled.

"I couldn't help but be shy around you. You make everyone in the room wish they were you and I couldn't help if I was staring at you the whole time." Evan said as Jessica kissed him.

"I have an idea." Jessica said.

"Okay?" Evan questioned.

"The kids want to spend the weekend with Sarah and she agreed to take them, so I was thinking while we have three whole days to ourselves, we could just stay in and possibly just have some time for just us in bed." Jessica said.

"Sounds like a great idea and I know it's been awhile since we last had some time for ourselves." Evan said.

"We need this time for ourselves, I love our children but I feel as if we forget about each other and I think this weekend would be a wonderful time to reconnect with you and just enjoy each other's company." Jessica said as Evan kissed her.

"Is it too late right now to start?" Evan asked as Jessica laughed.

"Not really, but if we're going to have fun, go close the door so our children won't here us." Jessica said as Evan got up and gently closed the door and easily rolled Jessica onto her back.

"I love you Mrs. Peters." Evan kissed her as she licked his bottom lip.

"I love you too Mr. Peters, now make me happy." Jessica said as Evan obliged.

Author's Note: I'm finally getting around to updating all my stories and sorry it took so long. I've been really busy and barely had enough time for myself because of work and personal stuff but hopefully I can get back to it.

I had this chapter started and then, I took some time for myself to not put stress on myself, but I missed writing.
