Today was a very long and anticipated day because today was the court date to see their children for the very first time as Jessica sat at her vanity, doing her hair and makeup as Evan seen that she was nervous.

"Relax mama."

"You don't know how nervous I am right now."

"Yes I do."

"I feel like we'll go and hear something positive and come back with something negative."

"You can't think like that baby."

"Well, I can't help it."

"I promise you that our kids will be here with us as soon as we know it."

"Promise?"

"Absolutely."

Evan always reassured her if she was thinking something other than positive vibes.

"Hopefully the kids will want us to become their parents."

"I have no doubts in my mind."

"I do, for some reason."

"Everything will work out baby."

...

A little while later on, Evan and Jessica walked into the courthouse as she felt her stomach drop as she held Evan's arm as he held her close.

"Jess!" Jessica heard her named being called to turn around to see Sarah coming to hug her.

"Did you come here to support me?"

"Why of course. I'm your best friend and we support each other."

"I know, but I'm nervous."

"Don't be."

"That's what I've told her."

Jessica breathes as Evan and Sarah hug her, which felt amazing because she needed it.

"Let's see how this goes." Sarah said opening the door to let Jessica and Evan in as they walked into the elevator.

Their time came as they seen two little kids, sitting with a case worker as Jessica could not help but glance at them as they looked at everyone.

"Ms. Lange?"

"Your honor, Ms. Lange is married."

"Oh yes, to Mr. Peters."

"Yes, your honor."

"Do you find these two individuals, Jessica Lange and Evan Peters, fit for the custody of Grayson and Paisleigh?"

"Yes I do your honor."

"For the next six weeks, you'll be going to inspect the new home of where the children will be living."

"Yes your honor."

"You'll also close the adoption once it's finalized this afternoon, which the parents, who have no confidentiality rights to Grayson and Paisleigh."

"Yes your honor."

"I can say this, I believe the children would find safety and love in the couple sitting in front of me, so by the state of this very Minnesota court, I grant custody and adoption to Mrs. Jessica Phyllis Lange-Peters and Mr. Evan Thomas Peters." The judge granted as he used his gavel.

"Court adjourned."

They were so happy as the kids came running towards them as their social worker and lawyer talked to the judge.

"Supervised visits start next week, which I'm hoping that the kids will have everything they'll need by then."

"Yes they will."

"Congratulations Jessica!'' Sarah came up and hugged her.

"Aww... I'm on cloud nine right now!"

"I know honey." Evan said as he kissed her cheek.

Grayson stared at the two as he wondered what was going on as Evan picked him up.

"Hello there little man."

"Daddy!" Grayson said as Evan felt his heart smile.

"Yes buddy, I'm your daddy and this is mommy."

"Mommy!" Paisleigh said as Jessica picked her up as she loved being their mommy already.

"It's been awhile since I've read bedtime stories and took care of a couple of little ones, but I'm ready for it."

"Well, let's go home and go from there."

"The court date was the hardest thing, but now, I'm happy." Jessica said as they walked out the room and down to the elevators.

"Mommy, I'm hungry."

"We have leftover pasta from last night we could feed them for lunch."

"Sounds great!"

They got home as both the kids took a liking to the home they'll grow up in.

"This is like a movie star house." Little Paisleigh said

"That's because mommy is a movie star."

"Daddy is too." Jessica said as the kids were sitting on their laps.

"Cartoons." Grayson said as he snuggled up against Jessica's chest.

They just had lunch and Grayson started getting sleepy as Jessica felt happy and at peace for a moment.

"Are you ready for a nap baby."

"Yeah."

Jessica got up and carried Grayson into his bedroom, which was dinosaur themed.

She kissed his head and walked out to let him sleep while Evan carried Paisleigh to her room, which was princess themed.

"I think they had a good day."

"They did baby and now, let's take a nap together."

"Where?"

"In our bed."

"Maybe the kids will come and crawl in with us later.''

"I love you gorgeous."

"I love you too handsome."

He totally warmed her heart as she had never blushed as much as she did with anyone else.

He was her life now, it was crazy in a way, not knowing what her future held long before him, she was now blessed with this sweet man and five kids who made her proud to be called mama and two grandkids who she loves.

"I wonder what role we'll play next."

"You'll play something honey."

"I wish you'd come back to American Horror Story."

"My time came and went to play anyone else, I did four consecutive years of playing the mom, the nun, the witch and the freak show owner."

"And you were the best on there."

"By the way, I hated the last season."

"Yeah. That was not my favorite season."

"We're not gonna let our kids watch it until they leave home."

"Maybe I'll play someone better this time."

"I never know anymore."

"I love you."

"I love you more."

"That's impossible."

"Mommy!"

"I miss hearing that." Jessica said as Paisleigh came running into their bedroom and climbed in between them.

"Daddy!"

"I love hearing that." Evan said as Grayson came running in after his sister as Evan lifted him onto the bed as they watched 'Tom and Jerry'.

He sat and watched Grayson cuddle up to Jessica on her chest as he felt his whole life finally piece together as he smiled at her.

"Little man must have been tired?"

"He is."

"She'll be up for awhile."

"I know."

"Want some coffee or tea?"

"Anything is fine darling."

...

Evan placed her tea on the table as he looked at all three of them, slumbered together as Evan took a picture.

"Best day ever."

He was happy and filled with utter joy knowing that he found the love of his life and now had two kids, who he loved more than anything.

He was over the moon as he watched Jessica stir in her sleep as Grayson hummed in his and Pasleigh, nearly top of her as well.

His lady was a mother to the bones and she was the best mother next to his own, he wanted to take.his eyes off of them and get some rest but he wanted this moment to last as he took another picture of them.

He finally drifted off to sleep as Paisleigh snuggled up to him due to Grayson sleeping on Jessica's chest.
