The young girl arrived to the new town, greeted by her Uncle and Cousin. She looked around the strange town in awe, her hands in theirs, as she saw white fluffy stuff falling from the sky. She then gave a startled yelp as one landed on her nose, and her cousin laughed. She glared at him, jerked her hand out of his, and demanded, "What's so funny?" He chuckled one last time before replying, "You are, you act as if you've never seen snow before!" The girl glared one more time before opening her mouth to reply, but her Uncle (He's actually her 2nd cousin but it is much simpler to call him Uncle) beat her to it and said, "Now Gary, you know they don't see that much snow on Melemele Island from Kukui's first visit!" Gary just shook his head and said, "Yeah Gramps, but she is your cousin's granddaughter, so shouldn't she have at least once visited some Ice type Pokemon?" The girl's Uncle just chuckled and said, "No, in fact, that may be one of the reasons that she's here!" Both Gary and the girl looked at the Professor in confusion until he said with a sigh, "Samson sent Alice to Pallet Town to help me with my research. In return, she will get to travel around the Kanto region, and maybe to other regions too! That way she can see a bit of the world before she officially starts her training back on Melemele Island!" Toward the end of his speech a boy with raven-black hair, auburn-brown eyes, and a Pikachu on his shoulder walked over to them and said, "Hey Professor, Gary! Who is that person with you? She looks a bit familiar." At that last part the boy and his Pikachu squinted at Alice, and she hid behind Gary as he laughed and said, "You might know her Ash, seeing how your last adventure was to the Alola Region! This is my cousin, Alice of Melemele Island!" Ash paused for a moment, but then shook his head and said, "Sorry, but I still don't recognize her. Anyway, good luck on your adventure!" And with that he left. After a moment Alice turned to her Uncle and said, "What about my friends, and Gramps?" Her Uncle just chuckled and said, "You will be able to contact them over their Pokedex, they should be starting their missions now shouldn't they?" Alice gasped and said, "Oh no, I forgot! And what about me? What Pokemon am I going to start with?" Gary chuckled and said, "Your Gramps thought you might mention that," and handed her a Pokeball with a note attached to it. Alice carefully held the Pokeball in her left hand (Yes, she's left handed) and read the note. "Dear Alice, This is your Gramps here. You most Litten-ly are wondering why I have sent you this Pokeball. To be honest, it is your new starter Pokemon!-" At that Alice let the Pokemon out of its ball and saw a familiar snow-fox Pokemon. Alice smiled at it, and Gary jumped back as the tiny fox pawed over to Alice and sat in her lap. She looked back, petting the Vulpix, at the note and read, "I know you and Vulpix had a special bond, so why not start your journey together! Seeing how no one else in the Kanto region will have one like it it won't be too hard to get around. You will be staying with your Uncle for a while so have fun, and don't forget to contact us! Sincerely, Gramps. Alice smiled, looked up at the two Professors looking at her and said, "When do I start?"

Hey guys, Nightcore_Lives here! I just wanted to say that I'm sorry that this chapter is kinda short. Unfortunately, future chapters will also be short. I'm sorry, but I'm trying to work out all of my school work and write this book. But have no fear! I will be hoping to publish a lot of chapters for this story, even if they are short. I know even though I am just starting this book I know I am havening fun writing it, and I hope ya'll will have fun reading it!
