Hey, sorry this was so delayed. I have a lot of stuff I'm doing right now. This is only part 1, part 2 will be on the rest of the story, but before I post part 1 (which I need to finish writing) I will be sharing 2 snippets of stuff I wrote that were drafts of events that occurred in Chapter 16 and Chapter 18.5.

I sometimes get excited about certain events so I write stuff beforehand (for example I wrote a draft of when Adam battles his father while I was still working on Grasping Fate)

Sweet Desire Plot

Here is what I had started writing for the next chapter, Chapter 15. Unfortunately I never finished it

Seto leaned back against the chest and flicked through the pages of his notebook. He wondered if he could ask Max more question about his meeting with Nol, the information would be valuable in the near future. He was close to piecing together a better understand of who or what Nol really was. It was something he desired to know, it could help him understand the theory he'd been formulating for the last 2 and a half years in the Nether. But his resources were limited even with the library of books he had read through.

Seto paused for a moment, "Yes?" When no answer came Seto closed his notebook and packed it neatly away in his bag. He tried again, "Yes, I know you are there, I can hear you."

Jin emerged from the shadows, "Oh Jin, it's just you, is there something you and your friends need?" Seto nodded towards the area behind Jin, and shortly after Red, Barney, Ross, and Max emerged. Jin rubbed the back of his neck and frowned.

"Actually, they convinced me to come...apologize. Apologize for the ass I was towards you," Jin looked down at his feet.

"It's fine, you were angry, and had a lot of magical influence over you, which you had no idea how to control, I can't blame you for those feelings."

"Yeah, well...still. I shouldn't have been so rash, and I should've thought more about my actions before letting all this power to my head."

Seto sat up, his eyes softened in Jin's direction. He knew how he felt, magic could feel like a thrill the moment one is able to muster even the tiniest bit of success. Yet it just as quickly grows out of control.

"If you'd like, I can teach you a thing or two about control. I'll give you a place to stay in Keuta--you and your friends are welcome. At least until you are able to control your powers a bit better, then I can help you all return home to Eflido. I know it's an abrupt offer, but from one candidate to another, I understand how you feel," Seto smiled.

"Actually, I was going to ask if you could teach me, so of course I'll accept," Jin let out a relieved sigh.

"Yes! And we'lls be coming toos!" Barney cheered in support.

Seto chuckled. Seto noticed Max being quiet and distant, "Do you all mind if I have a word with Max in private?" His friends nodded and quietly left the two of them alone.

Now let's move onto my breakdown of the plot.  This will be on Chapters 15- 30. Sorry if the following is boring, this is literally how I break down my chapters so it carries the information I want to remember when I go about writing.

Current Month: Azurren (Azurren is the 2nd to last month in the year)

Chapter 15 – Azurren 17th-18th

Seto is resting in the ship reading his notes when Jin and his friends pay a visit to him. Jin apologizes for his actions, but Seto offers an alternative for Jin. He and his friends are welcome to stay with him in Keuta and in the meantime, while Seto runs official affairs, he will teach Jin to control his magic. The group accepts the offering deciding to postpone their return home, which puts Max on edge.

Seto calls Max over to talk in private, and there Seto confides in Max as he understands how Max feels and would like Max to help him with a project, one that would free Max of his sword for good. Max is hesitant and tells Seto he will think about it.

When Seto is finally alone, he takes a moment to ponder his actions but dismissed any second thoughts at once. He must stand firm to his course of action.

Adam, Ian, and Ty arrive in Emedo and draw near the palace. Adam is surprisingly calm about giving Jordan his decision, not even the butterflies in his stomach frighten him as he approaches.

As Adam watches the scenery fly by, he sees some of the destruction the war caused, leaving families without homes and people without jobs.

Inside the castle, Ian and Ty go their separate ways as Jordan takes Adam on a private talk. Adam gives Jordan his decision and Jordan tells Adam the official coronation will occur at the start of the new year. Adam tells Jordan his first order of business is dealing with the destruction in the city, and making peace with Vragan.

Adam begins having visions, he sees the face of Jordan engulfed in a bright light. He's confused and unsettled.

Chapter 16 – Azurren 19th-20th

Adam and Ty begin drafting the first version of their letter that will be sent to the ruler of Vragan. There begins a growing bond between the two former enemies. They open up about their families and have a moment of understanding knowing they both lost their mothers.

Ty takes his leave and Adam wanders to his father's study and discovers old memories and an old journal that hasn't been written in for many decades.

Thus begins Adam's trip through his father's past and he unintentionally summons the spirit of his father's best friend.

Adam discovers his father was once friends with a sorcerer, a sorcerer who betrayed him. His father's words come back to him as he replays "Seto Magi is not your friend" over and over I his head. He takes a look at his father's former friend and can't help but feel sorry for the man who is truly sorry for his actions. But his father's words about Seto still ring through his head.

Adam has another alarming vision, he sees Ian also engulfed in a bright light, just like Jordan. He's confused, the visions are supposed to be random, but he keeps getting the same one. Maybe Hero talks to him.

Chapter 17 – Azurren 20th

Mitch has decided to move the games forward. They will start at the end of this month instead. His reasoning is to surprise the competitors and give Jerome a slight training advantage.

Mitch has just been told by his mother about an engagement he's had since birth with a Ny'm aristocrat's daughter. He's shocked to hear the news which was only kept from him because of Emedo's past occupation of Neim made the prior engagement difficult to fulfill. But now with Neim liberated, the previous betrothal is back in effect.

Mitch doesn't know what to do with the information and he keeps it a secret from Jerome. It's only a few weeks away but Jerome is focused on training his body for the Duhitian Festival.

The last four games have been increasingly dangerous.

The first initial announcements of internal rebellion begins to surface. It existed during the war but was small and quiet, but now with the war ended, former Chaos members on the run begin to make their move. Or other forms of rebellion (Dune's son)?

The Letter to the King of Vragan is ready to be sent. Ty and Ian prepare their journey to bring the letter to Vragan. Adam is anxious about the journey and the results, he's also worried about the tension between Emedo and Vragan and if there are any risks.

Ty assures him he will make sure everything goes smoothly.

Chapter 18 – Azurren 21st

Seto and others arrive to Kueta and get situated in Setos family home (?)

Now he must establish his position as a temporary King with his Uncle helping.

Seto speaks to Alista or the wither about the plan

Seto starts giving Jin his lessons and instructing his friends to carry out certain tasks

Seto lets "slip" of a last resort method for Jin

Max comes to Seto to ask why he wants his help and what project involves his sword. After listening, Max decides to help Seto. (Max becomes the bodyguard that can travel through time)

Chapter 18.5 - Azurren 22nd

Adam gives a public speech to his people while Ty and Ian are travelling to Vragan.

Chapter 19 – Azurren 23rd

Ian and Ty are in the heart of Vragan, the cold wind bites at their skin, but Ty is used to it

Suddenly they are surrounded and Ty shows his marking which grants them safe passage to the capital. There, they wait to meet the Vragan King

Ty or Ian reveal something they have never said to anyone maybe.

Maybe Ian talks about why he owes Adam his life, about his weakness to the sun and why Ty's hate for Adam is uncalled for.

Finally they are granted an audience, but only Ty.

It's been several days of training for Jin and he feels like nothing is working. He gets impatient and confronts Seto about his last resort method. Seto complies and tells Jin he can get rid of his magic completely, on the new year's celebration when their connection to the Gods is strongest.

Adam has been talking with Savielle lately, listening to countless stories of when he and his dad were young and causing mischief. He's greatly worried about Ian and Ty, but he's trying to stay distracted and focused.

Chapter 20 – Azurren 24th-28th

Ty finally emerges, the King has agreed to attend the Ethereal Peace Conference, much to both of their surprise. Ty is more shocked than Ian though.

They are allowed to stay the night and leave first thing in the morning. It will take them 3 days to return

They make it to the border but are unable to cross and get ambushed by rebels/thugs/protestors. People against Adam's recent speech for peace with Vragan.

They are captured and send Ian's sunglasses as proof of their protest against.

It will take 2 days for the glasses to arrive before Adam notices what's wrong.

When Adam does find out he hurries immediately to the border without telling Jordan. He discovers Seto on the way, he's coming to investigate some unsettling reports. Max is with him.

They rally together to fight back these rebels. Ty is badly injured and Seto is angered but remains calm, Adam on the other hand cries over his failure to protect Ty from such prejudice.

It is here that Ty maybe forgives Adam and accepts him, saying it was not his fault.

The King of Vragan watches the scene using magic and agrees with what Ty told them, that Adam is indeed a very curious man and they are interested in meeting them at the Conference.

Chapter 20.5 Azurren 28th

Mitch is struck rather dumb as his mother has prepared for him to meet a Ny'm aristocrats daughter this evening

Mitch finds he is quite charmed by her and he proposes she stay for the festivities next week

Chapter 21 - Azurren 28th-31st

Adam and Seto tends quickly to the wounds as. Seto can tell how upset Adam is, he begins to feel like a failure.

Seto tells him that is not true and that there was no way he could know that this would happen.

They rest that evening and travel in the morning. Ian and Ty ride horses.

Adam feels like a weight is on his shoulders. His father.

Even with what Seto said, it didn't change how he felt. A feeling of failure, that he will never be able to make this work. That Ty was right, that his father was right. It is impossible for there to be peace. In the evening Seto dreamwalks to inform Jordan that Adam is safe. Seto also tells Adam that people are hesitant about all this change because it is different from what they are used to. But if Adam believes it is right then he must move forward with conviction because he too moves toward the goal he thinks is right.

Of course, Seto also comments on how they people they encountered today were doing the same. He tells Adam its impossible to know which path will win over the other, but it is important to never give up if he wants to succeed.

They split ways eventually and Adam, Ian and Ty return home where Ty is taken quickly in for treatment.

Chapter 22 - Azurren 31st

Seto soon after arriving home sends Max on an errand to deliver a letter to two places. A letter to Duhita to one of General Dune's son's. He instructs Max to not open the letter or read it and to tell Dune's son that is was sent by someone named James. (Remember James is Seto's middle name, but he's using it now to keep his involvement secret)

Jin comes to Seto later declaring he would like to get rid of his magic. He says he wished he had never accepted the Wither's deal, and that having this power is nothing but trouble. It terrifies him and sickens him.

Seto is understanding and calms Jin down. He tells Jin he doesn't need to train anymore and can instead wear these special gloves until the day Jin can relinquish his powers.

Seto sends Tyler to Emedo to try and find out where the new rebels are located. He doesn't tell Tyler why he wants to know, just saying its important.

Seto calls on Jason to finally start the special task he has for him. The very reason he convinced Mitch to allow him custody over Jason's "punishment" He tasks Jason with infusing his magic into weapons to make it appear like magic is being used by a sorcerer.

Chapter 23 – Azurren 32nd-33rd

Mitch hears of what has transpired at Adam and Seto's borders and he regrets being unable to help.

The Duhitian fighting festival is approaching and Jerome has been training hard, and remarkably performing his duties within the castle. He handles not only his training, but the recent military restructuring with General Dune who is surprisingly cooperative. Plus he's been training humans and morvics alike.

Jerome has become well-liked by many, but Mitch knows that many people still hold a grudge against him and all that he has done in the past.

Max arrives in Duhita and gives Dune's son the letter, he's curious about what is in it, but the son refuses to speak

Chapter 24 – Azurren 34th

Ty is healing thanks to Seto's magic and potions, but Adam is stressing over what to do for the upcoming Conference.

Adam must think about how to address the problem of rebellion and clear up the borders. He calls upon Savi or Jordan or both for advice.

He must ensure the safety of the Vragan king if he is to gain their trust.

Tyler returns home with good news for Seto, he found some information on the people who attacked them at the Vragan border. Seto will get Max to deliver a message to them. The message is also kept confidential and Max is not allowed to look at the contents.

It is now three days until the festival starts, Jerome is anxious as the preparations are nearly finished. Jerome meets Lady Jocelyn, the aristocrat daughter

Lady Jocelyn asks him about Mitch and Jerome recounts his past with him. Talking about events that happened during the four years of war.

Chapter 25 – Azurren 36th-37th

Seto send Jason to Duhita and instructs him to deliver the weapons to General Dune's son. The some person Max delivered a letter to in Chapter 22.

The Duhitian festival begins on the 37th. Mitch, Lady Jocelyn, and Jerome are enjoying the festivities. Jerome has 3 days before his official match in the battle competition, the same battle competition Jerome must participate in and win in order to retain freedom for morvics (at least until Mitch has an heir old enough to take Jerome's place)

Seto makes a secret trip to Emedo

Adam begins preparations for the safe arrival of the Vragan King, he uses Jordan's former rebel connections to act as trustworthy, 3rd-party escorts.

Chapter 26 – Azurren 38th

Someone attempts to kill Jerome during military training while the festivities are going on and Mitch rushes to go see him. Quentin is already their inquiring about Jerome's condition, but Mitch demands to know who did this. The culprit had already been apprehended, but they won't spill who ordered them to try and kill Jerome.

Mitch is furious.

Jerome's condition is not too critical but Mitch must wait outside in agitation. Quentin won't allow him to come in while he works.

Mitch thinks about how Jerome is supposed to fight in the Duhitian festival, how the rights of all the morvics rely on Jerome's success in the games. How if he loses Mitch will have no choice but to uphold his deal.

Mitch can't stop worrying about how Jerome will insist on fighting no matter his condition and Mitch can't stand that.

That's when he remembers what his mother said about a betrothal. He stands quickly, that's his solution. Once he has an heir old enough, Jerome will no longer need to fight. But can Jerome wait that long. Mitch feels the only way he can protect Jerome is to marry and adopt a suitable heir (since birthing and raising one would take forever, p.s. I did some crude research, adopting heirs did occur in the old days especially when there were struggles to produce an heir. Instead the family would adopt an heir from a branch of the family, normally, but sometimes outsiders would be adopted).

He remembers Jocelyn telling him about her family.

Plus this marriage will bring a Queen to Duhita, a celebrated addition, and could ease some of the tensions that have been growing.

Mitch decides to meet her and propose his plan to her, hoping she will understand and help him.

Chapter 27 – Azurren 38th-39th

Jocelyn agrees to Mitch's proposal. Mitch will adopt one of Jocelyn's cousins in order to have them stand in during the battle festivities, this will allow Jerome not to fight in the battle. Also, the heir doesn't have to win in order to guarantee morvic rights, with an heir, morvic rights will remain gaurenteed.

(I know Mitch is literally only 26 at this point in the story, but its fine, he's adopting as a loophole, and heir status can change in time when Mitch actually has a child. He's doing this to protect Jerome and solidify his rule, so that this assassination attempt can't be used to overthrow him.)

Jerome is still recovering, no new updates yet from Quentin

The assassin confess that it was General Dune who hired him to kill Jerome and General Dune is arrested. The assassin then perishes as magic uncontrollably courses through them and covers them in curse marks, (like Seto's and Wag's curse marks but deadly)

Note, this is false. It was actually Dune's son who staged the assassination attempt, he hired someone to use the weapons delivered to him by Jason :/

Another note, the magic infused weapons that the assassin used are onetime use that makes the wielder appear like a sorcerer, this is on purpose. The magic is not traceable back to the weapon, and within 24 hours the user of the weapon will die with curse marks covering their body. This is done to make it look like a non-magic user was actually a sorcerer.

Basically Seto is making it look like a sorcerer was responsible for this attempt, but Seto did intend for the assassination to fail, he was never planning to kill Jerome. (most of this information would not be known by the reader at this point, all of this would get reveal at a later point)

Fear and doubts about magic bubble inside of Mitch, this event will be kept confidential as Mitch

Jerome regains consciousness

Current Month: End (Last month of the year)

Chapter 28 – Azurren 40th-End 1st

Adam welcomes the King of Vragan to Emedo 5 days before the Ethereal Peace Conference.

The Vragan King is actually female, King is more of a title used to obscure her identity and protect Vragan since she inherited the throne at a young age. The term was meant to protect Vragan as best as possible against Emedo. Jess is also already married.

Adam's initial proposal for establishing peace with sorcerers is rejected by Jess who believes it is still impossible with the current levels of prejudice and hate.

Adam spends the days leading up to the conference attempting to convince Jess.

Meanwhile both individuals learn more about each other's customs

Perhaps Adam learns about what life was like for Jess early on in her rule/before she took the throne

Chapter 29 – End 4th-5th

The conference is almost here and Jess has decided to official participate only if the other rulers are able to answer her question. Adam agrees.

The other representatives from the other kingdoms begin arriving one by one, in this order:

Mitch, Lady Jocelyn, and Jerome (he's still injured but able to walk, he insisted in joining)

Alesa

Eflido representatives (non-youtube characters)

Seto, Max, and Jason

Before the meeting officially begins Jess interjects to ask first and foremost what each ruler plans to do about the rising predjudice and the substantial increase in terrorism against sorcerers and by sorcerers.

This causes a clashing of heads between Mitch and Jess, since Mitch is still upset over the recent attack. Adam tries to intervene

Perhaps Mitch makes a remark that unintentionally or intentionally calls out Seto on his own reckless use of magic that has caused injuries to others (Ch 26 of Falling to Rise, injury to Sub, the magic was not controlled and could have easily killed him, sub, or injured jerome more)

Seto will then try to intervene and tell mitch that his concerns are valid, but only so towards those sorcerers who wish harm or are unable to control magic without a proper education

Seto then proposes to open up a school a place that could educate sorcerers, morvics, and humans alike. He proposes the first should be opened in Keuta due to its central location, students from all kingdom could enroll and eventually more schools could open up in the future.

The conference takes a short break after hearing Seto's proposal

Chapter 30 – End 5th

Seto talks to both Alesa and Adam in private about the serious complications that could arise if people found out they had magic. With current times so tense and fearful of magic it could lead to coups and wars if people ever found out that the rulers they are supposed to trust have magic.

Seto tells them he has a way to "temporarily" seal their magic so that it becomes impossible for outsiders to claim they have magic.

Alesa is unsure, but Adam is more willing to do as Seto says.

Savielle warns Adam against it saying that such a thing doesn't seem possible, but Adam believes in Seto.

Just before the conference begins again, Jess speaks to Adam in private warning him to be careful of the people he trusts, she also voices her concerns about the recent terrorism as she believes the source is closer than they think.

The conference starts up again and they all agree on starting a school of education in Keuta

The school will be built where Seto's home used to be, before it was burned down.

Chapter 30.5 – End 7th

The representatives of each kingdom stayed for a day or two before returning to their kingdoms. Jess continues to stay with Adam and continues working with him.

Adam and Jess have plans to go to Keuta and help Seto with the construction of the school. Seto has expressed interest in hiring sorcerers to help with the construction. Jess has already given Seto some information on who to connect with and who to hire

Adam lets slip some of his fears and worries as a leader and Jess offers some of her wisdom as someone who has been on the throne for nearly 2 decades.
