SUMMARY: While searching for Sophia Peletier house by house in a small community, Andrea Harrison and Shane Walsh come across a young girl, hiding in a closet, clutching onto a pocketknife, fearing for her life. Promising not to hurt the girl, they take her back to the Greene farm.

However, after spending some time with the group, the frightened, broken Tori Ramirez is able to come to terms that even if her blood relatives are all dead, she can still find a family to lean on.

ADDITIONAL INFO: Tori's parents had died - her father was bit by a walker and her mom killed him out of mercy, and her mother was murdered by a group just a few houses down, while Tori was hiding. Once she didn't hear any noises for a few days, she left her hiding spot and found her dead mother and immediately fled the scene, obviously traumatized. When Andrea and Shane find her, she is very hesitant to go with them and keeps her knife out the whole time, afraid that they're like the people who killed her mother. But Shane showed her his police badge that he kept in his pocket, and Andrea is kind and gentle with her. When she gets to the farm, she is very quiet and cold, even to Carl, because he and most of them haven't lost anyone dear to them. If she gets along with anyone, she really looks up to Andrea and is good friends with Beth. Until Lori dies, then Tori and Carl really connect and lean on one another for support. She is actually pretty annoyed by him at first, then they slowly become friends, then slowly and eventually in a romantic relationship.
