BREAKING NEWS: LOONA member Sakai Miyoko has officially parted ways with her company Blockberry Creative.

Turmoil between the girls of LOONA and their company begun in November of 2022, when popular member Chuu was kicked out of the group by the label. Following the departure of Chuu, many of the other members made attempts to leave the group, some successful while others not. As of today, member Miyoko has officially terminated her exclusive contract with Blockberry Creative and has seemingly stepped down as a member of LOONA.

Just a few hours after the news had been released, Miyoko released a statement of her own, that reads:

" Hello everyone, this is Sakai Miyoko.
As many of you know, the members of LOONA and I have been facing extreme difficulties in deciding what to do regarding what has been going on for the past few months. And it is with a heavy heart that I announce that I am no longer a member of LOONA and I have terminated my contract with BlockBerry Creative. I adore everyone who has supported me along the way and I will forever cherish the memories I have made with my friends in LOONA, but I know what is the best call for me and after years of psychological and physical trauma, I am ready to say that I have had enough and will no longer be working with BlockBerry Creative for the rest of my days as an idol. I hope you can all respect my decision and carry on supporting and loving me unconditionally as I venture off into new places in my career.

After a few more hours later, it was announced that along with members Heejin, Choerry, Kim Lip and Jinsoul, Miyoko had signed with her new agency, MODHAUS, managers of the rookie group TripleS.

Although fans are happy Miyoko is fulfilling her dreams under a safer space for her, many are still extremely concerned about Miyoko after her statement regarding experiencing trauma in the past under her former label. As of right now, Miyoko has yet to talk more in depth about these struggles and we don't know if we will receive a statement about them.
