Yeosang's pov

The three of us began to pick a song we all three could enjoy, eventually picking one.

"How about we make a dance to Monster by Exo?" San asked. I smiled softly, happy to know that he also knew exo.

It was an older kpop song that didn't have a dance just yet, but I knew the three of us could make one together.

"Wait, San, we don't even know Yeo's dance style yet! We can't just choose a song based on our style!" Wooyoung scolded San. I smiled and laughed.

"My dance style is quite all over the place, really. I enjoy contemporary dance the most, but I can handle whatever!" I smiled still. Wooyoung gently slapped San.

"See! His style is contemporary!" Wooyoung exclaimed. I laughed again happily.

"I do enjoy Monster's heavier beat, so I think I'll be able to handle it. I actually already have a bit of a dance made to Monster; maybe we could use it?" I asked. San and Wooyoung nodded, quickly pushing play on Monster.

I began to dance as I saw fit and had prepared a year or two ago to the song. Once it had ended, I glanced over at San and Wooyoung, who's eyes were wide. They clapped their hands before cheering.

"Hell yeah! Yeosang, that dance is perfect! We're sure to get a good grade with what you've already made up!" San exclaimed. I smiled sheepishly and thanked them.

"Yeosang, when did you have the time to make that? College just began a month ago!" San asked.

"Oh, I used to love to spend time in the practice rooms at my old college. I wasn't a dance student at that time, but the dance instructor knew me from my high school days and let me use the spare practice room whenever I wanted to! She was awesome," I said as I remembered how kind the teacher was. My mind began to flood with past memories of her; Kim Jiyeon.

She was my teacher, but I loved her. She was the first human I told of my secret of being a vampire, and she never judged me for it. If anything, she grew to love me in return for it.

However, her family was a group of hunters. When she let it slip that I am a vampire at a family dinner, her family went ballistic. They began to shoot at me and try to stake me as I fled from her apartment.

I didn't wish to harm anyone, but her father tracked me down to the college and came into my dorm, a stake in one hand and a gun filled with vervain coated wooden bullets in the other.

He came at me, gun blazing, and shot my leg. I had to fight the pain I felt and stand back up from my bed and kill him before he killed me. When she found out I had killed her father, she began to hate me.

After that, I never trusted anyone else with my secret. The pain I felt knowing that the woman I loved hates me caused me to flee American soil, and come back to South Korea.

"Yeosang? Are you okay? You look pained," Wooyoung asked as he gently shook my shoulders. He and San checked me over for any bruises, finding none. They seemed confused by my pain.

"Ah, it's nothing; just bad memories of that college." I mumbled.

I can't let that happen with San or Wooyoung. It would kill me to know I had actually harmed either one of them.

No matter what, I can't let them know I'm a vampire. I can't let them be harmed by me, accidental or not. I have to stop trying to be friendly with them before I hurt them.

"Dude, you don't seem okay. We can take a break and come back later?" San asked and took my hand in his. I snatched my hand back and nodded.

"I need to go," I said and ran out of the practice room. I could hear the pair running after me, but I ignored it and raced into my dorm room. I shut and locked the door behind myself and sat on my bed.

I pulled out my phone and called the only other vampire to know about me, Seonghwa. He also goes to this college, but he's two years above me. He's a senior while I'm a sophomore.

"Hyung, I need help," I begged him as tears dropped down my cheeks.

"I'm on my way," he responded before hanging up.

A few minutes later, and a while of San and Wooyoung knocking, Seonghwa had them leave before entering with the spare key I gave him.

"Hyung, I- I met two humans today, and- and although I know I promised you not to fall for anyone else, I think I'm already falling for one of them!" I sobbed into his chest as we laid on my bed.

"Yeo, it's okay. I knew the promise was empty when we made it; I knew that once you'd come here that you'd fall for one of my friends. Which one is it? San, Wooyoung, Yunho, or Mingi?" Seonghwa asked.

"San- but how did you know? How did you know I'd fall for one of them?" I asked.

"San is your type, and Wooyoung and Mingi are attractive. I knew you'd chose one of them once you got here, but didn't expect it to be on your first day. How are you feeling?" Seonghwa asked.

"Awful. I don't want him to become anything like Jiyeon. I- I don't want him to hate me, but I think he's my mate! I know I'm a changed vampire and not a born one, but it can happen, right?" I asked as silent tears trickled down my cheeks and onto Seonghwa's shirt.

"You know how I'm from a long line of vampires right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Anyone I turn will have a mate. Since I turned you in 1922, you're sure to have a mate at some point. I thought it was Jiyeon, but your mate could never hate you," Seonghwa explained.

"How do I find out if San is my mate?" I asked quietly.

"San is usually a quiet boy, and he's only ever loud around Wooyoung. He's usually really quiet around new people. How did he act today?" Seonghwa gently caressed my hair and back with his hands.

"He was loud, and kind of flirty with me. He asked me had I "fallen for his charms" after asking if he and Wooyoung were a couple," I said. My face lit up as I looked up at Seonghwa.

"Hyung! He's my mate!" I exclaimed happily and hugged him tightly.

"Be careful, Yeo. Wooyoung is quite possessive of San since they've been friends for so long. He might get jealous of you," Seonghwa warned as we sat up. He looked at me closer and gasped.

"Kang Yeosang when was the last time you fed?!" Seonghwa asked loudly.

"A week ago." I shrugged.

"Yeosang! You know you can't go so long without blood! You're lucky I brought a blood bag with me or you'd starve by the end of the week!" Seonghwa quickly pulled out said bag of blood and handed it to me. I opened the tube and began drinking it hungrily.

"Where do you get blood from around here? Isn't it still really hard to?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"My mate is a doctor. He gets me a bunch of blood bags each week to make sure I'm okay," Seonghwa spoke with a soft smile on his lips.

"Ooo, who is he?" I asked teasingly.

"Kim Hongjoong; he's one of the best neuro surgeons in the country!" Seonghwa smiled widely as he began to talk about his boyfriend.

"So, obviously he knows you're a vampire, but does he know you're mates?" I asked. Seonghwa nodded his head.

"Not even a week after I told him, he had me mark him. He has to keep it covered with makeup while at work, but when he's home it's uncovered and I love it. He loves me, Yeo. I love him so much," Seonghwa said happily. I smiled widely and patted his back. I gave him back the empty blood bag and stood up from my bed.

"Thank you for talking to me, Hyung. I really appreciate it," I hugged him once again before he opened the door.

Wooyoung and San came into my room just as quickly as Seonghwa opened the door. They completely ignored his existence as they crowded around me.

"Yeo, are you okay? Why did Seonghwa Hyung try to make us leave?" San asked as he gently held my hands.

"I really needed to talk to Seonghwa Hyung by myself. I'm okay, Sannie." I smiled as he held my hands. It just felt too right to have his hands in mine. I smiled as I looked into my mate's eyes.

"Are you sure you're okay?" San asked. I nodded my head.

"Yeo, you really scared us, man. We thought you were going to hurt yourself!" Wooyoung exclaimed. I laughed and shook my head.

"No, I'm okay. I wouldn't hurt myself," I promised. The pair nodded their heads and hugged me between them.

"So, how do you know Seonghwa Hyung?" Wooyoung asked as we sat on my bed.

"We were friends before I left for America. He and I kept in touch while I was in America for the last decade and a half," I explained but lied about how long it had been.

I was in America for triple that long, but I couldn't exactly say the truth or they'd know my secret.

"Oh, okay! Have you seen his boyfriend, Hongjoong Hyung? They're so cute together!" San exclaimed.

"No, I haven't met him yet; maybe Seonghwa Hyung will let me meet him soon," I said as I looked up at him.

"You'll meet him tomorrow if you come to the party I'm hosting! He always lets me have parties in my dorm room, but maybe this time it could just be the eight of us," Seonghwa said. He pulled out his phone and began typing away.

"He said he's fine with it. So, I'll cancel the bigger party and it'll just be us four, Mingi, Yunho, and Jongho coming," Seonghwa said. I nodded and hugged Seonghwa before he left us alone.

"I'm sorry for running off like that, guys..." I mumbled as I sat down on my bed.

"It's okay, Yeosangie." San said with a smile.

"Thank you," I thanked him and hugged him gently. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

"I want a hug too!" Wooyoung whined and opened his arms. I laughed softly and hugged him also.
