"So Eleazar drinks animal blood also?" I ask Felix as he drives us to the Cullens, Demetri is back home keeping an eye on Bella who is furious about me coming here to meet a vampire who is close to the Cullens while she's grounded. Her own fault. Everything she's done is finally coming back to bite her in the ass. Karma I love you.

Nodding his head "Eleazar is a good vampire" coming up to the Cullens, Felix parks the car before coming over to help me out.

"Such a gentleman" I say

"Might I offer you my arm?" He asks, I take it just as Demetri pops up "aren't you supposed to be baby sitting?"

"Charlie Swan arrived back" he tells us "and I'm curious to see what kind of gift you have" knocking on the door it opens to Carlisle who lets us in.

"Eleazar is this way" he leads us to the living room "he also brought a member of his coven Kate" we see a golden eyed male vampire with dark hair and pale skin, he's about as tall as Edward but more lean.

"Hello" he says, he has a European accent to his voice "you must be Helena"

"Hi" waving my hand "Eleazar" he nods his head "nice to meet you"

"I don't see why you call her the Devil" looking at the others "she seems like a sweet young woman"

Emmett bursts out laughing before pointing at me "She is a psycho! She essentially castrated a wolf shifter and damaged another! Shes a vengeful little thing!"

"Aw" blushing as I look at Emmett "such sweet things"

Eleazar stares at me "You can't read her mind?"

"No" Edward shakes his head "I can't"

"Can you track her?" He asks Demetri, he shakes his head no "nor could Aro read her mind? She can even hide from your visions, Alice?" They shake their heads yes to the last question "she's a type of shield, a psychic shadow"

"A psychic shadow?" I ask

He nods his head "it's a defensive taken, very powerful. At first one would assume a shield but shields can still be seen by those who can see into the future. To have your ability manifest right now and fully formed to protect you makes you very powerful"

Someone takes my hand and I look over to see a woman with golden eyes, straight bright blonde hair and pale skin take my hand "oh yeah, she's definitely got the shield alright. That should have knocked her on her ass" letting go of my hand "I'm Kate"

"Kate" Eleazar tells me "can psychologically cause pain through volts of electricity"

"Oh" nodding in my head

"How did you injure your hand?" Kate asks me

"Punched a wolf shifter in the face" I say

She laughs "Your going to be tough little newborn"

"That's what I said!" Emmett laughs "though she thinks she can beat me in an arm wrestle once she's turned"

"What?" Demetri asks "you do realize Emmett Cullen that she'll still have her human blood along with feeding off human blood"

Emmett shrugs his shoulders "I've got the size on her"

"Size isn't everything" I say

"Pfft!" He waves his hand as I go near him slowly, he doesn't seem to know what I'm doing "I doubt you'd be able to beat me" grabbing his arm I flip him onto his back shocking him.

He looks at me from the ground as Felix chuckles "She just put you on your ass, she's also human"

"No fair!" He gets up "I wasn't looking" pointing to me "nor was I ready"

"Are your ready now?" I ask

"I mean I gu—woah!" I flip him over again and giggle.

"Now this is sad" Jasper says

I think about it and I'm curious "What's the Major like?"

The room is silent "I" Jasper tells me "would highly advice against meeting him while your human, he'll kill you"

"But after?" I ask "could I meet him?"

He nods his head "Once your turned"

"My shield?" I ask Eleazar "could it be what helped me with the imprint bond?"

He nods his head "If you didn't have the ability the bond would have been painful for you...though I see something else"

"You do?" Carlisle asks "what?"

Eleazar is silent as he narrows his eyes on me "fear, insanity and fire, I don't know what and I can't tell. Not while she's still human"

Turning around I see this small figure with red "What's that?" Pointing to the trees.

"What?" Felix asks and I point "is that the vampire your tasked with killing?"

"What?" They all look and the dot is gone.

"How did you see that?" Edward asks me "she was fifteen miles away" everyone stares at me and I shrug my shoulders not knowing.

"Hela?" Carlisle asks "can I see your wrist?" Nodding my head he takes off my cast and for some reason I don't feel pain "lift your shirt" I do and he checks "impossible"

"What?" Esme asks

Carlisle stands confused "Helena's injuries are all healed. What should have taken two months...their healed" everyone stares at me as I don't understand what's going on.

"What?" Letting out a little laugh "are you telling me that I'm starting to become a vampire earlier than normal?"

"No" shaking his head "but it's not normal, you should still be in a lot of pain"

I'm silent before asking "Does this mean I can go cliff diving now?" Demetri chuckles as Felix face palms.
