Chapter 25: Ready To Embrace The Truth
She walked forward, glancing around with her forehead creased. "Did he actually leave?" She mumbled to herself again, not spotting a single soul around her.
A sigh left her mouth and she walked, "why should I care if he left. . . It's not like I need him anyways." She convinced herself, wiping the dry tear from her cheeks.
"Are you looking for me?" He questioned, appearing in front of her from out of nowhere and she startlingly moved slightly back. "N. . . No." She replied and stared at him, while he curved a small smile.
"I found us a lift." He uttered and pointed in a direction, she turned around staring at a car stop at a distance, with a female driver stepping out from it.
"Come, let's go." She creased her forehead, and jerked her hand out of his hold. "What are you. . ."
"Sorry." He apologised and she passed him a look, before glancing back at the girl.
"Can you hurry?" She rudely questioned while staring at Sanskaar, who passed her a look.
She seemed uninterested, sitting back inside the car while Swara and Sanskaar made their way towards her.
"Why does she. . . like that?"
"Hmm?"
"She clearly doesn't want to take us. Where did you find her?" Swara asked, turning her head towards Sanskaar who remembered what had happened few minutes ago.
While following Swara, he stopped after noticing his shoelaces untied and bent down, tying them. Swara had continued walking while dwelling in her thoughts.
Without noticing Sanskaar, a car stormed towards him and as soon as he stood up, the car stopped with a sudden jerk, hitting against his leg, but not causing injury.
"Ah." He exclaimed and faced the car, the girl stepped out in anger and stared at him.
"What the hell! Are you blind? If you're so fond of dying then find somebody else!"
"Excuse me? What the hell, you nearly killed me!" He argued back, unable to tolerate her rude behaviour towards him.
"I didn't, you came in front of me out of nowhere, so don't try to pin it on me! Jerk." She rudely remarked and he scoffed, placing his hands on his hip.
"Listen, why are you being so rude? It only takes one apology to end it. Now I'll file a complaint. You hit me with your car!" He exclaimed, now taking his phone out of his pocket and she stared at him.
"Call, I'll also get you sued." She replied, crossing her arms across her chest and he chuckled. "For what? Cause you hit me and nearly ran me over! I'll get you sued."
She scoffed, "where's the proof?"
He gave her a look and she flapped her eyes at him. He glanced down at his leg, spotting blood and stared at her number plate, now smirking.
"My blood on your car." He pointed out and she glanced down at it, looking on, spotting a drop of blood and creased her forehead.
"Even this small amount would help me prove my words. Now wait till I sue you!" He exclaimed, starting to dial on his phone.
She walked forward, however he quickly stood in front of the car, blocking her. "Wait till the police get here."
She glanced at him in surprise, "listen. . . Let's just talk it out."
He shook his head, disagreeing and she grit her teeth.
"How much money do you want?"
"None." He replied and placed the phone over his ears, she stared at him shockingly. "What do you want then?"
"An apology and. . ." He trailed off and thought about it, "a lift home."
"Do I know you?" She asked, rolling her eyes at him. "Why would I give you a lift home?"
"Fine, we will talk in the police station." He uttered and waited for the call to be answered. "Hello, police station. . ."
She immediately leaned forward, snatching the phone out of his hand. "Sorry, wrong number." She spoke and disconnected the call, staring at him.
"I didn't say no." She replied and sighed, passing him a look. "Where do I need to drop you?"
He snatched his phone, staring at her in annoyance. "In the city, not too far from here."
"Fine, get in." She rolled her eyes and stared at her car.
He moved slightly back and took a picture, of the car and her.
"What the. . ."
"Proof you see, who knows you might run off."
"Are you dumb? How would I run off when you're in front of the car and I'm stood in front of you?"
"Do you not have niceness in your tongue?"
"Not for ugly people like you."
"Excuse me, Miss. . . Who are you calling ugly?"
"Do you see anyone else apart from you here?"
"Yes, you."
She passed him a look, "are you going to get in or not?"
"Where is my apology?"
She sighed, "Sorry."
"Hmm?"
"Sorry." She said and made a face, "are you coming or not?"
"Wait. . ." He trailed off and looked forward, finding Swara out of his sight. "I have someone here with me."
"Oh god, listen Mr, I'm not having two random men in my car. What if you do something to me?"
"She's a girl. . ." He replied and looked at her, "besides, why would I do something to you?"
"You can't trust anyone nowadays." She confidently replied and she glanced around. "Where is she?"
"She's over there." He pointed in a direction, "drive there. And if you try to run away then I'll come find you. I have the photo." He warned, starting to walk forward and she made a face, "jerk."
"I just made a deal in exchange of something." Sanskaar replied to Swara, who creased her forehead. "What deal?"
She impatiently horned at them and Sanskaar sighed, he opened the door and Swara sat in. He then closed the door and went to the other side, opening the door and sitting inside.
Swara looked at the girl, who stared at them through the rare mirror. "Oh my gosh, did you kidnap her?"
He closed the door, "no, I didn't."
"Then are you a runaway couple?" She questioned again, starting to drive and he shook his head. "No."
"Then, why is she dressed like that?"
"None of your business." Sanskaar rudely uttered and she made a face.
"Yeah, hello?" Sanskaar and Swara crease their foreheads while she glanced down at her phone that was on the phone stand.
"Hi. Stay with me on FaceTime until I get home."
"What? Why?"
"Cause I'm with strangers, if something happens to me then you're the witness. Ayush, inform Mum and Dad too. It's a man and a woman dressed in a wedding attire. . ." She trailed off, informing her brother Ayush.
Sanskaar scoffed in disbelief while Swara stared at her phone, seeing Ayush on the screen.
"Ragini, are you crazy? Why would you give lift to strangers?"
"I know, why would I. . ." She trailed off and looked at Sanskaar through the mirror, "I must be crazy."
Sanskaar stuck his tongue out at her and she rolled her eyes, glancing at the phone screen.
"Show me their faces, if something does happen to you then I'll recognise them."
"Yeah." She took her phone from the stand and pointed it towards Swara and Sanskaar. "Can you see them."
"Yes, I saw them." Ragini put the phone back on the stand and sighed, "the girl is pretty."
"I know, she is. The boy is okay. . ." She trailed off and stared at them from the rare mirror, "he looks like a complete frog. I can't believe she's with him. Sis, please say you're not with him. . ."
Not knowing why, Swara found her words funny and chuckled unexpectedly. "I'm not." Swara replied and Sanskaar made a face, feeling offended.
"Thank god." Ragini sighed a relief.
"Excuse me Miss. . . I'm handsome okay."
Swara stared at Sanskaar, passing him a look and Ragini scoffed. Sanskaar faced Swara, who looked away and he looked on. "I am."
"Why are you insulting the word handsome?" Ragini asked, looking down on him.
He felt offended, "you need glasses."
"Why does she?" Swara asked and he stared at her, "not you now Swara."
"Please talk sense." She replied, sounding rude and Ragini smirked.
Sanskaar sighed, feeling really upset and demotivated. "Swara. . . You could've at least sided me in front of this girl."
"Why should I? And don't act too close to me, because we're not. So keep this friendly tone to yourself." She sternly warned and looked away, he frowned, looking down. Ragini's words didn't effect him as much as Swara's words did, he felt his heart ache.
"How are you even stuck with him? You clearly sound like you hate him. . . Is he bullying you?"
"I do hate him." Swara honestly admitted, "but he saved me. . ." She continued, recalling what had happened recently. "And I'm thankful for that." She added, looking at him and he lifted his gazes, looking at her. "But that doesn't mean I forgot and forgave him for what he did to me."
Ragini glanced at the two from her mirror, sensing tension and glanced at him, seeing him sad and her upset.
"Did he break your heart?" She sounded surprised, "sis, you deserve better than that to break your heart."
"He broke her heart?" Ayush asked, chuckling afterwards, not believing it.
Both Swara and Sanskaar stare at each other, him feeling guilty towards her and her upset towards him.

After reaching home, Sujata had told her family everything that had happened, shocking them. They were concerned for her and now worried for Swara and Sanskaar, yet Sujata assured them they were fine and together. It was traumatising for Sujata, to have been in such incident, it still didn't feel real. She felt as if it was dream from which she would wake up soon.
Yet, she remembered and told the family about Swara not being Shekhar and Sharmishta's real daughter, surprising the family members.
"Who's daughter is she then?" Durga Prasad asked and Sujata shrugged, "she was stolen." Sujata'a reply had made everyone, including herself curious to know answer, feeling extremely bad for Swara.

Sameer was sat on the couch, recalling the incident from today.
"Where is she!" Kavita exclaimed, eagerly waiting by the entrance for Swara, worried and scared about her.
"She should be coming."
"Did we make a mistake by trusting her with Sanskaar?" Kavita questioned and faced Sameer, "I'm really worried for her."
Sameer glanced at her, "she should be coming. . ." He uttered again, sounding serious and Kavita rolled her eyes at him, ignoring him and staring at the entrance.
He was worried too, yet he was confident that she would safely reach home. However he was concerned about how she would react now, after finding out she isn't even his half siblings. He feels the same towards her, still having his over protective brotherhood alive for her, but now he isn't sure if she'd still feel like his younger sister after her encounter with the life changing truth.
He felt selfish, not willing to let go of that bond. He lost his father, mother and now loosing his sister is starting to get scary. He had no regret of loosing his father, but loosing his mother was a little painful. He released a sigh, glancing at the entrance, hoping for Swara to turn up.

Sheesh was laying in the hospital, being dramatic over the injuries he received. He wanted treatment under all cost and pestered the staff until they were tired of his blabbering, compelling themselves to treat him so that he could leave them alone.
Sahil entered the room, staring at Sheesh. "The Doctor said you're fine. You have no fractures, no broken bone, no deep injury, just few bruises that would heal soon. He's happy to discharge you today."
"What about the blood transfusion?"
"He said you don't need one, you haven't lost too much blood." Sahil replied, sounding annoyed.
"But my arm hurts."
"It'll heal in few days."
"I was beaten really badly, are they sure they took the scans properly? I feel as if I broken something."
"They said it's nothing."
"But. . ."
Sahil exhaled, "it's nothing!"
"Why are you annoyed?"
"I wanna go home and sleep!" Sahil truthful revealed, "this day has been so tiring and hectic. You're fine Sheesh, you're okay enough to go home so let's go!"
Sheesh made a face as he blinked at Sahil, "selfish git!"
"I'm waiting outside." Sahil exited the room and Sheesh rolled his eyes. "It hurts." He moved his arm and winced in pain. Starting to rub it afterwards.

After a while, Ragini stopped outside a hospital.
"Here is your destination." She uttered and looked at Swara.
Swara stepped out, exhaling as she read the hospital name and Sanskaar got out too, confused to why Swara wanted to come to the hospital.
Ragini unbuckled her seatbelt and opened the door, stepping out and faced Swara, ignoring Sanskaar.
"Thank you." Swara replied, turning towards Ragini and Ragini nodded at her. "It's fine."
"What are you two doing here?" Sheesh and Sahil walked towards them after noticing them.
"Why are you two here?" Sanskaar asked, surprised to see them here.
"We asked first." Sheesh uttered and looked at Ragini, "and who's this?"
"I'm leaving." Ragini uttered and sat in her car.
"A rude mannerless brat." Sanskaar replied to Sheesh, referring to Ragini, who drove off.
"She seems familiar." Sahil muttered, creasing his forehead to think where he had seen her before.
Swara walks towards the entrance and Sanskaar walks behind her.
"Let's go. . . We'll ask them tomorrow cause I can't be asked right now." Sahil muttered, facing Sheesh who nodded.
"Okay."
Sheesh and Sahil left, while Swara and Sanskaar entered the hospital.
Butterflies were running through her stomach, and she nervously headed towards the receptionist.
"How can we help you?" The receptionist asked, and Swara blinked at her, clutching onto her fist. "I'm. . . Here to find something out."
The receptionist waited for her to continue and she inhaled, consoling her heart as she prepares herself, to face the biggest truth of her life. "I want to know who my real parents are."
Sanskaar stared at Swara in surprise while the receptionist blinked at her. She exhaled, ready to start her new journey, ready to find out who she really is. . .
