Chapter 4- Broken?

He walks towards her and holds her hand, "My WIFE ", he told looking at her while both stare into each other eyes, Ragini in utter shock while Sanskar with devotion. Laksh looks on shock hearing him and everyone who came hearing the shout had a satisfactory smile on their faces with teary eyes. "Remember it", Sanskar utters turning his head towards Laksh who looks at him in utter shock. "Go and Change", he points towards his room. Ragini looks at him while, he blinks. She nodded slightly wiping her tears as she clucthed the clothes in her hand and walks towards his room while Sanskar glared at Laksh. "Stop pretending to accept her as your wife when you clearly don't love her", Laksh utters looking at Sanskar. Ragini stopped hearing him, Sanskar turns and looked at her, "We have to leave, Ragini. Go and Change", He utters. Ragini shut her eyes tightly walking inside the room and closed the door behind.

Sanskar looks at Laksh and walks forward standing face to face, "Marriage doesn't depend on Love, it needs understanding, support, trust and faith which me and Ragini have into each other which makes me, her Husband and her My Wife", He utters patting his cheeks, "And, a person with low mindset like you won't understand this", He utters as he walks away while Laksh clenched his fist looking at his back.

Ragini looks at her reflection into the mirror standing infront of the dresses, she was now changed into peach color anarkali. Her eyes were empty and her face was pale. She was holding the bridal dress while, Her eyes were stucked at the Mangalsutra, she was wearing. "My Wife", She remembers sanskar words earlier and felt her heart heavy at the thought, "No, this can't happen. This can't. Sanskar..... Sanskar belongs to Swara and only her. I need to bring back my sister. This can't happen, this can't", She utters keeping her palm over her head while tears tripped down her eyes helplessly. "Why couldn't I save you? Why?", She mumbles to herself as she slides down throwing the bridal dress there covering her face, she removed her palm from her face and looks around the room, "This room belongs to you, This Mangalsutra belongs to you. This....", She tightly clucthed the Mangalsutra and hiccuped. "Why are you playing with me? Why?", She mumbles looking up at the sky. She shook her head wiping her tears as she stands, "No, Ragini. You can't be weak. For swara, you can do this. Yes, you can bring her back. I will bring her back", She utters determined wiping her face. She sniffed her nose as she moves back her hand and tries to remove the Mangalsutra. "Come out", She mutters as the Mangalsutra was stucked and the hook wasn't opening.

"Ragini!", Sanskar knocks on the door, making her head tiltled towards the door. She sighs as she leave the Mangalsutra like that and kept the stole around her neck. She wipes her face with her hand again as she took the deep breath and walks towards door, "Rag....", Sanskar was about to knock again when Ragini opens the door. He looks at her from head to toe and then his eyes was fixed on her face, she was looking down playing with her fingers. "Are you ready?", He asked and she nodded. "Stop crying, Ragini", He utters helplessly while her head shot up at him. "Please", He utters while she pressed her lips in a thin line and nodded. "You wait, I'll just come", He utters entering inside the room. He stopped as he looked at the bridal dress on floor, he turned and look at her back and then at the dress. He walks towards it and picks it up keeping it on table. He then take out his clothes and walks inside washroom.

Ragini walks out from his room, staring at floor walked in her own thoughts. She reached towards stairs and, put her feet aimlessly when her feet twisted and she was about to fall when, she felt a grip on her shoulder. She looked up and found Laksh staring at her, "Wouldn't be good if I leave you", He utters looking at her with a sly smile. "Laksh!", She utters helplessly. "Where's your new supporter?", He asked as he looked around, "Aww, leave his Wife alone to fall down?", He utters shaking his head in a pity. Sanskar who just come out of his room saw this. "Laksh, Please! It's paining", She utters with moisty eyes, he tightened his grip around her shoulder paining her more. "I'll just leave you like I did earlier", He utters loosening his hold around her shoulder. "Laksh!", She utters as she tried to hold the railing. "Raginiiii", Sanskar shouts as he runs towards her while, Laksh released her shoulder. Her eyes widen as she was about to fall when, Sanskar holds her palm in a nick of time pushing Laksh. "Ragini!", He utters as he forwarded his another palm, Ragini who was swinging on stairs holding his one hand looks on, a tear leaked her eye as she forwarded her another hand holding his and he pulls her up embracing her in his arms holding her shoulder. She breaths inwardly as she clucthed his shirt. "You okay?", He asked holding her shoulder and looking at her. She nodded her head when they heard clapping sounds. Their head titled towards Laksh who was clapping, "Woow, What a catch!", He utters nodding his head being impressed. "Knight in the shining armor!", Laksh utters. Sanskar carefully make her stand behind his back and glared at Laksh, "Didn't I told you to stay away from her?", Sanskar shouts as he was about to pounced at him when Ragini holds his shoulder and nodded NO." Let's go, please", She utters. Sanskar looks at her and then at Laksh giving him a deadly glare, he walks forward and points his finger at him, "Last time, Laksh. Last time", he utters as he turned and holds Ragini hand, "Come", he says as he walks forward. Ragini who took a step winced bending, "Ahh". Sanskar immediately turns and looks at her while she shuts her eyes in pain keeping her hand on her leg, "Ragini! Are you okay?", He asked worriedly while Ragini nodded as she tried to take another step but, failed. Laksh looks at them in disbelief, "Show me", he utters as he holds her and makes her sit on the stairs. "No, I am fine", She utters as she tried to hold him.

"Ragini!", He glared at her and remove her sandals, she winced a little holding her shoulder, He looks at her as he moves her feet and she hits shoulder, "Nooo", she says. "Wait!", Sanskar says as he massaged her feet. "Leave it, Sanskar", She utters as she tried to remove his hand. Laksh folds his arms staring at the two. "Woow, What a lovely couple", he commented making an awe face. RagSan looks at him, Sanskar glared at him while Ragini looks away. He whistle's seeing them and walks away keeping his hands inside his jeans as Sanskar again holds her feet massaging a little, Ragini who was about to open her mouth shuts immediately looking at his serious gaze towards her. She lowered her hand when, he immediately twisted her feet making her shreik, "Ahhh.... Sanskar", She hits her fist on his shoulder in pain as her eyes turned teary. Sanskar holds his shoulder as he looks at her, "Move it", he says moving his shoulder as he makes her wear her sandal and standing. He forwarded his hand looking at her, Ragini looks at him and holds his hand standing. "Come", he says as he decends one stairs and looks at her. Ragini nodded as she follows him and felt all of her pain gone. She looks at Sanskar in surprise, "No, Thank you", he utters making her lips crawls up in a small smile. She nodded as he smiles too seeing her and they decends the stairs hand in hand. Laksh who eyeing them from far shook his head irritated, He felt a hand on his hand and turns looking at Kavya, "Didn't she move on too fast with a broken heart?", She asked as Laksh glanced at them from upstairs, "It's all drama to gain sympathy", He utters and Kavya nodded, "We'll show her drama once she come back", Kavya utters and Laksh smiled.

"Ragini. Sanskar, atleast eat something", sujata says when they shook their head, "We'll eat later, Chachi ji", She utters when parineeta rushed towards them, "Here, I pack some food for you too", She said. "Bhabhi!", Ragini looks at her while, parineeta smiled weakly patting her cheeks,"It's the least, I can do for you", she utters while ragini looks at Sanskar who blinks. She smiled weakly at parineeta taking the bag and looks at Sanskar, "let's go", she utters. "Ragini, let's pray before you both go", Sujata utters and she nodded. The four of them went to Temple and closed their eyes praying for Annupurna. "Please, show me a way to fix everything", Ragini utters bending infront of the idol and keeping her head on the table, her forhead touched the red Vermillion scattered around the feets of Idol, she sits straight and the Vermillion spreads on her forhead. She joined her hands standing and turned to look at the three of them, "let's go", she utters. Sanskar looks at her and felt his heart skipped a beat seeing her filled forhead. Sujata and Parineeta shared a glance, He kept staring at her with his hand joined, "Sanskar?", She walks forward standing infront of him. "Chalay?", She asked and he nodded, Sujata smiled moving forward as she cups ragini cheeks, "I believe you, chori", She utters making Ragini smiled weakly at her. Sujata picks up the red thread from the thaal and tied it around her wrist, "Whatever you'll do will be correct only", she utters as ragini looks at him. She looks at Sanskar and blinks at him, she put tillak on his forhead and tied red thread around his wrist too. She Pat's his cheeks while, sanskar bends and took her blessings and ragini did the same. "Put tillak on my forhead too", She says standing infront of sujata. Sujata and Sanskar shared a glance, "God has already filled it himself",  sujata says smiling at her. Ragini looks on confused while sanskar gulps, "Let's go, Ragini. Bade papa must be waiting", he told and she nodded. She joined her hands again before idol before leaving.

They walks out of the Maheshwari Mansion, Ragini who was about to sit in car stopped in her tracks as her eyes land on her reflection on the car window, she touched her forhead bewildered. "I... didn't... then", she muttered when she remembers sujata earlier word's. "Ragini!", She jerked hearing Sanskar voice and rubbed her forhead sitting inside the car. She looks other side wearing the seat belt while , sanskar looks at her. He ignited the car and droves off. Ragini felt nervous thinking what might be he thinking with her this move when, she remembers swara and instantly turned to look at him, "Sanskar?", She uterrs. Sanskar who was driving holding the steering looks at her, "What happened?", He asked looking at her face. "Can....can we go to meet, swara?", She asked looking at sanskar who instantly pulls the break hearing her. "What?", He asked. "I....I mean.... Wo......earlier..... She....", She couldn't complete when sanskar reached out his hand to hold her, "It's okay", he utters while she looks on. "Do you really want her to see in this state?", He asked and she nodded, "It's necessary to clear her before, she conclude something herself", She utters looking straight. Sanskar take back his hand looking at her and nodded, "If that's you want", he utters as he started the car and took U-turn.

He stopped the car infront of Police Station, both glanced at each other before, coming out of the car. They took a deep breath before walking inside. "Hello, Inspector. Can we please meet, Swara?", Sanskar asked standing infront of the table. The inspector looks at him and Ragini both, "Mr and Mrs. Maheshwari, don't you know that you aren't allowed to meet criminals without court orders?", The inspector says looking at them. "She isn't any criminal but, my sister", Ragini instantly utters while, sanskar looks at him. "Sorry, Mrs. Maheshwari. We can't let you meet her. We are shifting her to Central Jail with other criminals because, she tried to run away from here. If, you want to meet her then, you have to took permission from court", the inspector utters. Sanskar and Ragini glanced at each other disappointed. "Inspector, Can you please tell her that we were here to meet her?", Ragini asked when Sanskar holds her shoulder. "Ragini!", He utters. "Please , just tell her that we were here for her and we will soon meet her", Ragini utters moisty eyes. The inspector looks at her and then nodded, "Okay, we'll tell her but, you may leave now", the inspector utters and ragini nodded wiping her tears with a small smile, "Thank you... Thank you Soo much, Sir", she utters when Sanskar holds her and drags her out.

"What was it?", He asked as they stand outside the Station. "It was necessary,sanskar. It was necessary for her to know that we are here for her to let her know that we are still with her and won't leave her alone", Ragini utters wiping her tears which were about to fall. Sanskar looks at her, "I don't want her to think that she is alone in this battle when we are with her", Ragini utters and Sanskar nodded. "I'll apply for court orders once, Badi Maa comes home", Sanskar says and Ragini nodded holding her shoulder,"Don't worry, we'll find a way", she utters and he nodded. "I know", he utters as they sits inside the car and droves off.

Swara was sitting in a corner staring at a particular place, Ragini and Sanskar faces was continuously flashing infront of her mind making way for tears to continuously rolled down. "No! Swara. Whatever you are thinking is wrong. They can't betrayed you. They can never", She utters when the Inspector comes and Knocks on the bars with his stick. "Ms.Gadodia", he utters making her look at him. "Mr and Mrs. Maheshwari was here to meet you but, because they didn't had any court orders they went back but, they told they'll meet you soon", he utters leaving while swara looks on and smiled, "Sanskar. Ragini", she utters wiping her tears, "I knew , you'll come", She said and soon her smile fades away, "Mr and Mrs. Maheshwari?", She utters as another tears leaked her eye making her heart bleed.

Ragini and Sanskar reached hospital and asked Durga Prasad and Adarsh to leave. They both stood outside the I.C.U until,they shifted Annupurna to normal ward. Ragini sits infront of the chair holding Annupurna hand as she was unconscious and Sanskar went to clear some bills. Ragini kissed Annupurna's hand and holds it, "Why did you take it at your heart, Maa? Why?", She utters as a tear leaked and fell on her hand. "Why do you feel bad for me when, I deserves this, Maa", She utters as she wipes her tears, "Didn't I humiliated you enough for you to hate me? Didn't I hurted anyone enough? Then, why? You know by seeing you like this I feel like it's all my fault that you are here like this", She utters as tears rolled her cheeks and she felt her heart heavy. She gulps the lump formed in her throat, "Maa, I am broken", she utters as she kept her head on her hand. "I feel lonely", she sobs. "Why maa? Why I am not in your place, instead? Why I am alive?", She felt a grip on her shoulder and turned looking at Sanskar, who was looking at her with moisty eyes, she didn't realize when he comes, "Ragini!", He utters when she hurriedly wipes her tears plastering a weak smile, "I am okay", he holds her hand and makes her stand. He walks towards the couch and makes her sit there and went to bring the food he brought. He placed the food in front of her and sits infront of her, "Eat something", he utters when she shook her head, "I am not hungry, Please", she utters.

"Please, Ragini. You have to look after Badi Maa, isn't? Will she like if she sees you this weak? No na. Then, please", he utters making a morsel and keeping it infront of her. "Once you made me eat with your hands when no one was ready to give me food. Even though I acted but, I still couldn't repay you back for the care and support you gave me that time. Let me give it back, today", he asked making her look at him, she stared into his eyes and then look at the morsel infront of her lips, she smiled eating it with his hands. He smiled as he makes another bite and keeps it infront of her, she took the morsel in her hand forwarded towards him, "You also didn't eat anything, would Badi Maa like to see you like this as well?", She asked while he looks on. "I am not hungry", he stated. "Then, I'll not eat too", she utters when he immediately eats the bite from her hand making her smile. "When you want to take care of others. First, take care of yourself", she utters making another bite for him. "Same applies on you too", he utters making a morsel for her. Both eats with each other hand at the same time and smiles looking into each other. Annupurna who opens her eyes half drowsy looks at them and smiled through her tears.

At Maheshwari Mansion, Durga Prasad and Adarsh has already reached Mansion and changed their clothes. They all are seated in Dining table with pale faces, Sujata signs parineeta who nodded and serves Dp, "Eat something, papa ji", she utters while Dp looks at her and then nodded. Rp and Adarsh holds his hand from respective sides and blinks, Uttara and Parineeta serves them too. Dp makes a morsel and was about to eat when Laksh comes infront of his view, "Papa", his hand stopped in the mid as he looks at him. Laksh walks towards him,"How's maa?", He asked as he looks at Dp, who kept the morsel back in plate. "Why do you even care to ask, Laksh? When you even didn't valued her", Dp utters. "Papa, please", Laksh utters moisty eyes as he holds Dp hands who jerked him. "Don't", He warns. "Go away from my sight, Laksh before I do something which I may regret later", Dp utters glaring him. "But, Papa atleast...", Laksh pleads when Dp pushed the plate and stands, "I don't want to eat", he utters as he glared at Laksh and walks away.

"Papa/Bhaisa", They calls him. Adarsh glared at Laksh, "Atleast, you could have let him eat in peace", Adarsh grits his teeth looking at him while Laksh looks at him, "Bhai", he utters when he showed him his palm, "I am not your brother", He utters and was about to go when parineeta stopped him and nodded no. Laksh looks at their gazes and walks away teary eyed.

Laksh walks inside his room angry as he throws his mobile on bed angrily, his hand turned into a fist and was about to hit on mirror when kavya stops him, "Laksh! What are you doing?", She asked shocked. "Everyone...... Everyone hates me here.... Papa isn't talking to me and Bhai", he turns away angrily. Kavya holds his shoulder, "It's all because of Ragini, she instigated everyone against you", Kavya utters while laksh looks on with hatred filled gaze, "there's only one way, Laksh to make your family realize your worth", Kavya utters while Laksh looks on confuse, "What it is?", He asked while Kavya turns folding her arm and smirked looking on.

Dp sits on his chair in his room glancing at the family portrait on the wall, his eyes were teary and his hands were turned into a fist, his eyes were stucked at Annupurna, "I failed annupurna ji, I failed as a father. I never thought my upbringing will turn like this. I failed today", he utters as tears rolled his cheeks. He removed his glasses and squeezed his eyes with his hands and puts back the glasses. "I never felt this much weak", he utters when he felt a knock on the door and straighten his posture, "I am not hungry", he utters sternly.
"Papa", he looks on hearing laksh voice and didn't turned. Laksh was about to step inside when he heard Dp voice, "Don't. Don't come here, Laksh", He utters in stern voice. Laksh still stepped inside his room and walks towards him. He shut his eyes tightly as Laksh stands infront of him, "I need you to do something for me , Papa" Laksh utters as he forwarded some papers, "I won't do anything for a person like you", Dp utters as he stands.
Laksh smiled, "You will, Papa. You will", he utters as he holds his hand and kept the papers on it, "Sign these", he utters as he took out one from his pocket and kept it on it. "What's this?", Dp asked as he holds it in his hands. "Property Papers", Laksh utters making Durga Prasad eyes widen as he looks at Laksh. "You are transferring your property on my name", He says making him started. "Are you mad?", Dp shouts as he throws the paper on bench and turns keeping his hand behind his back, "I won't name property on your name", Dp utters sternly. "Why? When you can transfer this on ragini name to rule on you all then, why can't I?", Laksh asked in a loud voice. "Lakshh!!", Dp voice roared as he turned and glared him. "Why? Truth hurts!", Laksh smirked and bends picking up the papers and pen, "Sign it, papa or else...", He utters while Dp looks at him. "Or, What?", Dp sternly asked when Laksh smirked walking back until his back hits the table trolley, he gaze at the fruit basket and picks up the sharp knife. He looks at the knife and then, at Dp who looks on horrified seeing him holding it, "Or else, be ready to give shoulders to your son final rites", Laksh utters keeping the knife of his wrist, "Lakshhhhh", Dp shouts when Laksh smirked, You have 10 seconds to think, Papa. 1.....2......3......

Screen Freezed on  Dp horrified face and Laksh smirk and splits into RagSan who was sitting in hospital.

One more shock 😰😰😰😰😰😂😂😂 even I am..... Don't know why I am writing 😂😂😂 🤣 anyways, keeping the shock and surprise on side tell me, how's the chapter? I know less ragsan scene and more drama but, was necessary to shape up the story..... Well, technically this is few shots based on Kavya Track..... So, it's little bit difficult to shape up ragsan in this with both kavya and swara problems so, I'll keep it slow only. Hope, it wasn't the boring one.
