I can hear some people saying "Finally a new update!". And you guys are sooooo right.
I have exams in nowadays so it was pretty hard for me to be active. ;-;

  After a fun evening with Kai, I realized how much I actually missed him and the others as well. I never got the chance to really grow super close to them, but already I knew they would be my family since mine was dead, broken, and divided.

Not having any siblings made me cling to Nya and become closer to her. We were practically sisters now.

  I was ready to go my dad’s island again, well not completely ready, I still have yet to learn how to cope with painful and haunting memories from that island and the things I went through with Kai and my friends there. But it was now or never. I needed closure. And I needed a way to silence my fears and haunting past for good and what better way to do it than get revenge at the heart of the cause, Chen? Yeah, thinking like that makes me less nervous. I need to try this more often, I guess…

  I thought all those things to myself as I packed my things for the plane ride and stay at my dad’s island. Throwing in a couple weapons wouldn’t anything would it? I had to be ready. Prepared.
Both mentally and physically. I can’t let my guard down until we silence Chen and his followers for good.

  I threw in my clothes and then decided, eh what the heck, might as well dump my dresser drawers of clothes into the bag. I’ll never know for sure when I get back and it’s not like I’m going to try and escape with a bunch of clothes weighing me down or something.

  Now I just need to add in a couple weapons and some toiletries, I’m not taking any handouts from Chen! I’ve learned my lesson from trusting him the first time and it ain’t gonna happen again!

  Kai came and picked me up as I left my room on top of the Noodle House. I and Kai went to the airport by using his dragon. I tried to use mine, but all he would say in response to that is:

  “But princess! I haven’t seen you in so long and it isn’t every day we get to be together…” Kai would whine and then go on and on and on about it until I just had to ride with him.

I mean, I’m stubborn and all, but I just can’t resist him!

  We landed right outside the airport and it was all closed up and all the lights were off inside. How were we supposed to even get in, let alone get to Chen’s plane?

  “Psst… over here! PSST!!!” A not so quiet, but slightly familiar voice called to us from a door farther down leading inside.

I looked at Kai confused and he just shrugged his shoulders in response. To that, I mentally facepalmed… guys these days…

    “C’mon! Let’s go check it out! Maybe we can get inside.” I told him, then jogged down there and saw Jay peeking his head out a side door.

  He looked up at me curiously. I guess the others sent him to wait for Kai and I since there was no visible entrance that seemed to be open. It had been awhile since I’d seen him and I could tell that he didn’t change. Not even a little bit!

I giggled to myself and said “Hey Jay! Fancy seeing you here?”

“Same to you, Master of Amber!” Jay replied.

  Kai then ran over after seeing me talking to a what probably looked like a blue blob standing in the door.

  “My Sky! Don’t run off like that again! I wouldn’t want- Jay?! Dude, when did you get here?!” Kai said worriedly and then mid-sentence, turned his head towards the blue blob in the door and embraced the blue blob.

  “Alright, guys, let’s go to the others. That is why you’re out here, right Jay?” I asked him, just waiting for their awkward reunion get back on track.

  “Oh yeah! That is why I’m out here!” Jay said as recognition and remembrance dawned on him.

  It was hilarious and I couldn’t help but keep laughing as he led us inside and through the dark corridors and empty waiting rooms.

  We finally made it to the furthermost point of the airport and walked to a semi-lit up waiting room that held many elemental masters, some new and the rest, and majority, old masters that I knew from the last tournament! I looked around and spotted Nya, Cole, Lloyd, Zane, Karloff and Misako in one corner. And in the other corner adjacent to the ninja I saw Pale Man, and Turner talking to Toxikita. I looked for the other elemental masters, but except for some masters, the other weren’t there and only 12 minutes left.

Maybe some of them didn’t want to come... Jay, Kai, and I made our way over to the ninja.

  “Is Garmadon alive?” I whisper, worried I asked the wrong question too soon. Misako wrapped an arm instinctively around Lloyd and then full on hugged him and started to sniffle. Dang it… I didn’t mean to make her cry. Everyone stayed quiet. Then after a moment or two of silence, they nodded ‘yes’ in sync. Oh great, we have another rescue mission.

  Finally Kai broke the silence. “Well… Let’s just celebrate like old times! Aren’t we all tired of worrying and being curious?” he said, in an attempt to lighten the mood. It caught me off guard for a minute because Jay is usually the first one to crack a joke or something. Kai really has changed. Except, in the good way. I like it… No, I love it.

Jay seemed inspired. “Yeah, I’ll go and meet the new masters. Anyone coming?” he said and smiled.

  “Count me in!” Nya said while coming closer to Jay. Nya has finally chosen him over Cole? Ok... Now I’m finally wondering about something safe.

  “Me likey.” said Cole who was holding all ninja’s invitations.

Right after Cole, Lloyd chipped in, “Like we have something better to do…” I nodded in agreement.

  “You guys go, I will go and check our seats.” Zane said and walked away slowly. We waved a short farewell to him and turned our faces to the new masters who were talking with each other or doing stuff on their phones. Newbies…

  “Sooo… which one to talk to first?” I asked Kai, while checking out the new masters.

  “What about that boy over there?” Kai suggested, looking at the others.

“No way! Didn’t you see how he shouted at Tox?” Nya exclaimed. And she shook her head ‘no’ vigorously while doing so.

  “That guy in the corner doesn’t seems so dangerous. What do you think?” Jay offered.

  “Yeah, he doesn’t seems so busy as well. Let’s go.” I said. We walked to the guy sitting on a bench. He was outfitted in a navy blue jacket and matching black trousers. His hair colour were exactly the same color Jay had, but he had light blue highlights on the very tips of his long shaggy hair. I could see a couple light brown highlights streaking the sides as well, he didn’t have great taste in hair dye, but for some odd reason, it worked in his case.

(I'm imagining him like Squira's OC Ace, except for his hair color and of course without the tattoo. )
(Also, I have to admit that he looks cute ^-^)

When we arrived he looked up and smiled.

  “Hey guys, What's up?” he said quite enthusiastically while standing up from the bench. Well… he was… way friendlier than the dude who yelled at Tox for… who even knows?!

  “Hey...” I say not actually feeling like meeting someone new. The Ninja were enough for me, for now. Cole waved and the others followed suit.

  “I’m Gale Legume, Master Of Weather.” He said while he shook hands with my boyfriend then moved on to Jay.

  “Nice to meet ya! I’m Jay, Master Of Lightning! This is Kai, Cole, Skylor, Lloyd an-”

  “Nya Smith, the Elemental Master Of Water! I have heard so so so much about you. The one who killed Preeminent and saved Ninjago... I’m honored to meet you.” Gale bowed. Nya blushed hard. It was so obvious that she wasn’t expecting something like this.

  “T-thanks… The honor is mine...” she stammered, still a bit in shock at the way a new elemental master was treating her. I could see Jay’s anger even from where I was standing, which was on the other side of the group. His hands started to sizzle and crack with electricity, so I moved quickly into action.

  “We all came together as a team… and more as I’ll be happy to tell you. Jay and Nya have been dating for quite some time now. Kai and I have been dating since the last Tournament Chen hosted. And Zane and Pixal are dating as well. Cole… uh… Cole’s got… cake? And uh Lloyd-”

  “I can take care of myself, plus I’m not sure how happy my mom and dad would be if I brought a girl home.” Lloyd interrupted me and chuckled. We joined in laughing knowing how strict and overprotective his parents could be at times.

  I was hoping to lighten up the mood and sooth Jay’s raging insides and hopefully send a message to Gale to ‘Get the heck away from Nya or your dead.’ message. Something along those lines. I didn’t want to get on his bad side so soon. The others and I learned our lesson from the last Tournament, knowing that we all had to stick together and fight as one against the real evil. I can’t push others away so soon or it’s going to be hard to get them back. And him being a powerful master, I don’t think I want to see his bad side even though we just met him.

  Cole then takes the opportunity to bid our farewells to the new master and move on to another one. It happens to be a quiet girl in the corner. She doesn’t say much whenever we introduce ourselves except for, “I’m Myra... Master of Mirage… Nice to meet you…” Although, we could barely hear her and had to lean in close to understand. But we soon moved on wishing her good luck and went back to our corner with Tox, Turner, and Karloff.

  When we were really starting to get to catch up on the past couple months or so, Zane came out of nowhere. That guy is super stealthy… guess he’s a ninja for a reason...

  “The plane is about to take off my friends, my advice is to board early and be sure that we’re all on the plane when it flies. Plus, I would prefer it if we could all sit together.” Zane notified us.

  “I agree with Zane. I don’t mind making new friends and all, but this isn’t Kindergarten anymore guys. We don’t want to… cause any unwanted attention from others.” Jay chimed in, shooting a glare at the back of Gale who happened to be attempting to flirt with Nya. She looked all flustered by the way he was talking to her and I could tell she was uncomfortable with another guy talking to her like Jay would, so I intervened.

“Hey Nya! Why don’t you come over here with us? We are about to board the plane and say our ‘goodbyes’ to Misako and I wanted to sit with you.” I came over and hooked her arm with mine and sent a fake apologetic smile towards Gale. He bought it. He seemed a bit sad mixed with disappointment. To be honest, I felt kinda bad for him… He flashed a glare back at Jay quickly. At least their feelings for each other are the same... Hope this won’t be anything really important and cause any problems…

  We all went up to Misako, one by one, giving her a light kiss on the cheek and a hug. I was already attached to her, even though we hadn’t much time together… It could be because I never really had a real mother of my own. Then we filed out the door and into the plane. I directed Nya over to a seat close to the front, it was actually quite spacious in the plane, which I was grateful for. I sat down in the cushiony red seat, which I thought was quite comfortable. Nya was all quiet, she didn’t even respond when I called her name a couple times trying to get her attention. Guess she’s lost in thought...

  Jay passed by with Kai on his tail and sat in the two seats across from us. Kai blew me a kiss goodnight and Jay did the same to Nya, although she was so zoned out that she barely noticed at all. Then one by one, everybody drifted off to sleep as the rest of the masters boarded the plane. I could hear it take off as I slept restlessly.

  It’s past midnight in here, and I need some sleep to be awake in the morning. Slowly my eyes closed and I drifted off into a dream...
