I think all of you know that I'm on a hiatus at the moment. But I decided to update cause I know it has been forever since I updated. I'll try to update more but as you may know it's my exam year, which is going to decide which school I'll be going in high-school ;-;

So I have to study as much as I can and have to keep my grades high to win a good result.

“Get away you, idiot!” I yelled at Gale, although he was still ignoring me. Why him, Chen?! Why!? I mean, there are a lot more masters in this tournament so why him!? Dang it… he must’ve heard what happened last night…

“Why did you have to be my teammate?! Like I would have any interest in you!” I shouted again while walking away from him in search for food. He was sitting on a rock beside me and trying to sharpen the wood he found to make a sharp spear point. Then suddenly he tilted his head up and sent me a death glare.

“I’m only here with you because I know I can find Nya if I work with someone else, alright? Plus, who said anything about being ‘partners’? It’s not like I enjoy being in the company of another blue-elemental-blockhead like you. We just need to find Nya and get out of here.” He said and turned back to his work.

Ugh!

I hate when he talks about my Nya! I mean she’s my girlfriend but he keeps talking about her in front of me, knowing that I AM her boyfriend!!!

I can barely control myself sometimes! If I had my powers back or I knew how to use these new powers, then he definitely would be zapped. I swear-

“And I still can’t understand why an amazing person like Nya, is dating someone like you. She totally deserves to be treated better!” Gale continued, disregarding my emotions and the fact that I was in a super serious relationship with Nya. I felt all the energy and anger building up inside me and finding its way down to my fists. It suddenly got darker all around and I began to wonder what it was, so I looked to the sky and dark rain clouds were forming. But it’s supposed to be morning right now- Ohhh…

When Kai, and Nya, told me to keep my anger and “protectiveness over Nya” under control, they were referencing one of the times I tried to kill Cole… well, now wasn’t one of those times I was going to hold back and keep it “under control”.

I grabbed Gale’s shirt collar and lifted him up so we were eye to eye. I pushed him roughly against the tree and I whisper-spoke in a steel-like tone.

“If you, low-life-good-for-nothing-useless-nobody-wannabe-elemental-master, think that I’ll let one more comment on what you think is good for Nya or for me, then I’ll beat you till you’re dying breath and no one ever recognizes you, not even your mother will know you, or love you for that matter.”

   
A brief glimmer of fear crossed his face and then…

Anger…

It was a bit terrifying to say the least...

Then suddenly, an evil smile decorated his already stupid face and he even started to laugh evilly. What the heck was going on!? Didn’t I just threaten to send him to his grave and shame him in front of all society??

“Stupid Jay.. You shouldn’t have done that…” Gale put his hands on my still body and pushed me back. I stumbled and scrambled to back up as he began walking towards me, still smiling wickedly. I started to freak out a bit, but I tried not to show him! But seriously, people can’t judge me for being scared a bit, how would they feel if they were in this situation!?

Then suddenly he stopped right in front of me, staring, my back up against a convenient-for-Gale tree.

“I understand why she likes you. You definitely aren’t a jerk. But what in you makes her fall for you, huh? You’re just a...” He paused and thought about it, “Cry baby...” He smile got bigger, and scarier.

“Hmm... Interesting tactic. I should try this sometime.” He whispered loud enough for me to hear him. After that his evil smirk disappeared and he awkwardly tackled me.

“Get off me, weirdo!!” I tried to escape from under him, but he was just like dead weight laying on my chest, crushing my lungs a bit. I managed to continue breathing ok and got myself situated so I could flip us around where I was on top of him. I repeatedly punched him over and over again, but all he did was groan and wince a bit in pain but that was it! He didn’t fight back at all…

what the heck?!

Then Gale pinched my cheek really hard and pulled my hair. I couldn’t help but scream a little. Gosh, why am I like this…?

“Is this all you got, Blue Jay?” Gale taunted me. I punched him harder and with more precision so his nose began to bleed. What a creepy weirdo… no one calls me Blue Jay! Only Nya! And… Why he isn’t fighting back? He could easily get me off of him... I’m not going that hard on him! I almost feel, dare I say… guilty about beating up someone who isn’t fighting back, but he’s trying to steal Nya from me. I need to stay focused. I have to...

“T-this is just what- Aghhh… I-I needed... Th-thank you B-blue Jay...” He whispered. What the heck?! This guy is freaking me out more and more… alarm bells were going off in my head… is he-

“J-Jay…?” My thoughts were interrupted by the softest and sweetest voice I have ever heard on heaven or earth.

I turned my head to find her and Lloyd looking at us…

Frightened...

“Nya!!” My face brightened in an instant and I ran over to her, quickly forgetting my opponent. I held my arms open wide and embraced her in one big hug.

She didn’t hug me back… She just stood there stiff and stoic like a stone statue... Why isn’t she hugging me back?!

“Nya? Is something wrong?”

She was looking at my back, at Gale... Then she turned to face me.

“Jay, what have you done!? Why were you fighting him? You’re supposed to be teammates!” She pulled away from me and ran up to Gale. Lloyd gave me an I-feel-kinda-bad-for-ya look as he patted my back, and said “Control yourself, buddy… Just let it happen...”

“Oh my gosh, what happened to your face?!” Nya cried as she tried to clean the blood and bruises with aloe vera leaves. She was running her hands all over his face and through his hair as she fixed him up, the sight disgusted me.

So this was his plan!!! To look weak in front of her so he could get attention and make me look like the bad guy!!!

Nya put his arm around her shoulder and tried to help him over to a place where Gale could sit, but… he didn’t even have any leg or abdomen injuries! Why the heck does he need her help?!
   

As the two walked over to a nearby and rather large rock, Gale leaned into her touch and pulled her in closer to him so that they were more than just touching.

“Ahem... Boundaries, honey.” Nya awkwardly warned him. It didn’t look like he was making her comfortable. Well, I mean, DUH she wasn’t comfortable with him! She’s only meant for that kind of embracing with me!!

“Oh, of course My Lady...” He said and sat down on the rock, with the help of Nya. NO ONE calls her their lady except for me! She’s my lady!

“Lloyd, come and check him. I need a moment with someone… Come on, Jay… Let’s have a little chat.” Nya’s voice was hard and her glare cold, harsh.

Oh shoot…

I’m dead…

Lloyd nodded and went to the rock where Gale was sitting. I followed her, as she made her way into the crowded jungle. We walked for few minutes and then she stopped, nearly making me run into her as I tried to stop too!

Then she hugged me. Tight enough to make me gasp a bit for air. I hugged back just as intensely as her, but that’s when I heard her muffled sobs. I haven’t seen her cry in such a long time… what has this island done to us to bring me and everyone else to this point where we are always fighting each other, we are divided against each other, and now we’re crying and having breakdowns in the middle of the jungle?! How much worse can this place possibly get?

“H-hey.. What’s wrong honey..?” I asked as I hugged her tighter. She raised her head up and looked into my blue eyes making me look at hers. Gosh, those eyes…

“I-I thought you were dead!!” She cried harder and buried her head into my shirt. Why would she think that??

“Chen announced that two contestants are already out! So I thought maybe… you...” Nya trailed off while she kept crying. Wait, two masters are already out!? What the heck?? Why I didn’t hear his announcement?? AGH!

“And you know that being out means…” She sniffed, “...d-death, so I got worried!” Nya shouted and this time cried on my shoulder, clearly distraught.

“But I’m still here right?” I raised her head up and locked eyes with her again. I wiped away her tears with my thumbs and stroked her right cheek. She nodded.

“And let’s admit, I’m the weakest player in this game, aren’t I? I mean, I can’t even keep my anger controlled!” Nya slightly laughed. Making her smile is the only thing I always want to do…

“No you’re not...”

“I am!” she giggled more.

“Then why are you still in the tournament, Mr. Walker?” Nya smiled at me and raised one of her eyebrows playfully.

"Cause I didn’t know if you were alright or not.” My fingers went through her silky black hair as I stroked her cheek where her mole was. The mark of eternal beauty…

“Aw... Jay...” She blushed lightly, “Who do you think is out? I really hope Kai isn’t out yet...” She touched my hand which I was still stroking her cheek with.

“I’m sure he will be fine, sweetheart. I mean, even his ego is enough to take some masters out!” She and I laughed together, imagining Kai’s fiery rage being taken out on some poor, unfortunate elemental masters.

“Welcome back Jay.” Nya smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me closer. Why is she welcoming me back for? I’m always like this, aren’t I? Maybe she was talking about my humor?

Hmm... Yeah, that’s more likel-

Our lips met. Shoot!

I completely forgot that was what she was doing. I leaned into the kiss, wrapping my arms around her waist, holding her close. If only Gale could see this! I’m sure his face would be priceless! Welp, even if he didn’t, I’m not gonna lose this chance to kiss my girl!
