"Plagg, it's 5.59 pm, do you think she'll mind if I'm one minute too early?" Adrien panicked as he paced down the hall in front of her apartment.
Plagg sighed and shook his head. "Could you stop walking around?"
"But I'm nervous! This is our first official date!" Adrien bit his lip.
"Ring the doorbell," Plagg ordered.
"I said I would be here at 6 pm. And it's still one minute early," Adrien said and gave his kwami a half smile.
Plagg sighed and flew to the doorbell and rang it before Adrien could stop him. "Plagg! Now she's going to think I'm obsessed!"
"Then she will know the truth!" Plagg smirked.
"I will kill y..-" Marinette opened the door and Plagg hid. "..-ou look lovely!"
She was wearing a blouse, that was tucked behind her black skirt. Her make up was natural and her hair was let down, which made Adrien blush madly.
"Thank you. You look good too, pretty boy," Adrien's cheeks were already the color of Ladybug's suit and he didn't know how he would spend the whole evening with her.
"Uhm..-thanks. S-Should we go?" he offered her a hand and she gladly took it.
With the corner of his eyes he saw Sabine and Tom giving him thumbs up, which made his eyes widen.
"What happened to your confidence, huh?" Marinette asked as he opened the door of the limo for her.
"I lost it completely on the way here," he hid his head in his hands, to prevent her to see how red he was in the face.
"I can see that," Marinette laughed.
Marinette was sitting on the middle seat, while Adrien was sitting on the left side.
He saw how their hands were close together, but he hesitated. What would she think?
Marinette saw what he was thinking and interwined their fingers. "Man up, pretty boy," she smirked.
"Y-You want me dead, don't you?" Adrien stuttered, trying to not think about the fact that she just made a move.
"Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows, maybe I'm even planning your murder tonight," she joked and smirked.
"I think you are," he muttered under his breath. Where has his Chat Noir confidence gone?
The ride was silent, nobody of them speaking. It was a nice silence and both of them enjoyed it.
Adrien was still flustered by the fact that she interwined their hands on purpose.
Those dragging they did when they held each other's hands did not count!
Adrien knew he was screwed if she kept it up, because he couldn't take her teasing for long. His blush would spread everywhere on his face.
"We're here," they stepped out of the limo in front of a fancy restaurant. "It's not my taste, but I had to obey my father," Adrien laughed. "He threathened me that I couldn't go out if I didn't take you here,"
"Why is it so important?" Marinette curiously asked.
"Mother and father met each other here. She was a waitress here and my father liked to come here for lunch," Adrien shook his head. "Not sure why, though,"
Marinette smiled and squeezed his hand. "I'm glad you shared this with me,"
Adrien smiled and pulled her in. The waiter asked for reservation and he simple said 'Agreste' and everyone already knew who he was.
His father was really popular here.
Adrien still didn't know why his father told him to bring her here.
They sat down at the table for two and started talking.
They ordered food and laughed as never before.
"Sir, please take these to that cute couple there," a man said and gave the waiter two pieces of cake. The waiter knew what he had to do.
When he placed both of the plates down, he smiled at the couple. "Special order for you,"
"From who?" Adrien asked.
"From the house," the waiter smiled before walking away.
"I still don't know why father asked me to bring you here," Adrien muttered and took a piece of cake.
Marinette did the same and tasted the cake which was amazing. "Maybe he just wanted us to have the same experience as they had?" she suggested.
"Probably. But I never know what's going on in that brain of his," he sighed and took a bite of a cake.
Then he tasted something weird in his mouth. Something round.
He took it out of his mouth and looked at it. He nearly screamed when he saw an engagement ring.
He hid it before Marinette could see it.
Adrien groaned. Of course his father would plan something like that.
He twirled the ring in his hand under the table, before standing up. "I will just do a quick visit to the bathroom. Be right back!"
Marinette looked at him weirdly while he was leaving. "I thought the bathroom was the other way,"
Adrien knocked on kitchen door and smiled at the cook that opened it. "I'm here to speak with Gabriel Agreste,"
"I'm sorry, kid, there's no one here named that," the cook replied.
"Do not lie to me," Adrien gripped the ring in his fist.
The cook sighed and let him in. He saw Gabriel in the corner, looking at his sketch book.
"Son!" he exclaimed. "How'd it go? Did she say yes?"
"No, because the waiter accidentally switched the cakes," Adrien bitterly replied.
"Oh god. Well at least the wedding dresses look great!" Gabriel smiled and turned his sketchpad towards his son. There were a suit and a dress for a wedding.
"Father!" Adrien exclaimed. "Why would you do that?"
"Hey, fathers need hobbies too!"

I think Gabriel would be #3 fan of Adrienette. First is Alya (duh) and the second are tom and sabine 😂😂😂
