Chara walked forward and further away from the snowy town and into warmer, more humid and wet territory. She was carrying Temmie while surveying the area, noticing that there where waterfalls every few feet and crystals. They were very beautiful to her and she even stopped to stare at them before continuing. She came to an area where she saw a red, fish like monster just sitting in a corner, giving Chara a glare as soon as she walked in the area. She also saw a goat kind of monster that looked to be almost her age, maybe a year or so younger. And then her eyes landed on... Papyrus? He was sitting at his station not even looking her way and drumming his fingers while his eyes where closed, he almost looked asleep. Chara walked up to the goat boy and tapped him on the shoulder. He glared at her and began to look her up and down.

"Hey, ya goin' to see her too?" The goat boy said as he casually smiled at her with red eyes staring at every inch of her body. Chara slowly nodded as Temmie gave a resistant look to the boy but Chara shrugged it off. Who's he talking about? "...Awesome, I think she's the coolest. To be honest, I want to be like her, I've gotta be 18 though, I'm only 17," he said as he shoved his hands in his pockets with a glare at the floor. He looked to Chara and smiled. "Say, I haven't seen you around here before, gotta say, you're a mighty fine monster, prettiest I've ever seen," He said and Chara's eyes grew a bit wider as a blush settled on her cheeks. He thinks I'm a monster. At least he'll be easier to befriend now, I'll just let him think that.

"A-ah, thank you," Chara said as she smiled and hugged Temmie tighter. The boy winked and he stuck his hand out.

"Forgot to introduce myself. Howdy, I'm Asriel," He said and Chara gave him her hand and shook it.

"Greetings, I am Chara," She said and Asriel laughed.

"Well, I won't hold ya, you look like you're on a mission," Asriel said and Chara smiled.

"Thank you," She said and went on her way.

"Don't let people flirt with you so much," Temmie whispered to Chara and Chara laughed quietly. Of course Temmie would scold flirtatious actions.

"Hey, I won't judge, I've flirted a couple times since I've been down here," Chara whispered back and Temmie rolled her eyes

"Which really isn't good, not unless you wanna date everybody in the underground," Temmie said with a smile smile and Chara laughed again. She walked up to the red monster but it gave her a look that said "don't take another fucking step" so she backed up and smiled at it.

"Get out of here, bitch," it said and Chara began to walk to Papyrus when the big blue flower echoed the monster's words. She looked at it in wonder as she whispered some encouraging words for it to repeat when someone walked by instead of what that monster said. She smiled and went to a save point in between the station and the echo flower.

(The sound of rushing water fills you with determination)

Chara saved her progress and vaguely thought of what the Return button would do but she ignored it. There was no point in letting curiosity get the better of her and she went to Papyrus. Papyrus now had his head lying down and was now snoring a little bit. Chara set Temmie down on the counter and shook Papyrus a little bit. Papyrus woke up groggily and scratched the back of his head before he realized who he was looking at and his eyes widened as his smiled brightened.

"Chara!" He exclaimed before he caught himself and went back to his calm demeanor. "I mean, what? You've seen a guy with two jobs before, get lost," Papyrus said before Chara laughed softly

"You and I both know you don't mean that," Chara said and Papyrus rested his head in his hand while he sighed.

"I suppose you're right, anyway, I'm about to take a break, I'm gonna go to muffets, you wanna come?" Papyrus asked and Temmie mentally screamed as Chara nodded. Is she so stupid to see that this is basically a date? "Well, you look eager, I guess I'll try to pry myself away from my work," Papyrus said and Chara laughed. "Follow me, there's a shortcut," Papyrus said as Chara picked Temmie back up and followed him. Her eyes widened when they were in Muffet's so fast. She didn't even see anything. "Fast shortcut, right?" He said, his face smug and Chara smiled while Temmie rolled her eyes. Papyrus sat at one of the bar stools and Chara sat at the one next to him while putting Temmie up on the counter. Temmie snuggled into Chara's left arm while Chara pet her, sometimes Temmie reminded Chara of a cat or dog even when she said she wasn't a pet. "So what do ya want? Spider pastries or Spider cider?" Papyrus asked and Chara thought it over and whispered it in Temmie's ear, making sure it was okay with her before making an order, since she was sharing her food with her.

"Spider Cider," Chara said excitedly and Papyrus laughed at her attitude.

"That sounds great, hey Muffey, how about some cider over here?" Papyrus said as Muffet looked to him and nodded before coming there way with two orders of cider in medium sized cups.

"Here you go Papy, dear~ I hope you like it! I put a little something sweet in yours.. Sorry I didn't think about your friend's drink, but I'll get her drink sweetened next time," Muffet said, as she gave one final smile to Papyrus and went back to cleaning the counters and glassware.

"Y'know, my boss tries really hard to be in the Royal guard, one time he shouted outside the head of the Royal guard's house until she answered him, 'course it was midnight, my lord doesn't exactly think things through, but she saw his bravery at shouting at her in particular and decided to let him have warrior training and that's how he's almost as high a ranking as the head guard herself, heh, my master's so brave," there was quiet before he spoke again "You've heard of the echo flowers, yeah? They're all over the marsh. Say something and they'll repeat it over and over. Anyway, I actually wanna talk about you. So, one of you humans, I think, Sans told me someone who looks like you talks to him. It started with flattery, flirts and encouragement but then it turned Threats, advice, and predictions once you came. Weird, huh? Someone must be playing a trick on him, making him hear stuff with those echo flowers. Just keep an eye out, okay? Thanks," Papyrus said and Chara's eyes softened. Frisk. She had been doing this to Sans, hasn't she? "Anyway, I can't believe you pulled me away from work this long, we should really get going," Papyrus said as he got off the stool, heading for the door. "Hey, Muff, put it on my tab," he yelled behind him but was grabbed by spider webs.

"Oh no you don't~ you need to pay your tab, dearie~" she said pulling him closer to her and despite the situation, Papyrus seemed calm. Will she not hurt him? "Cough it up, Papy," she said as he playfully rolled his eyes and dug into his pocket with his free hand and gave her how much it cost. She smiled at him and gave him a friendly kiss on his cheek before she went back behind the counter. Papyrus hugged Chara and waved to her before he went back to work or wherever he chose. She went back to where she had left off in Waterfall and saw Papyrus was there but he was asleep once again. Chara let Temmie down and let her walk beside her. She was sure she could keep up, she wasn't that tall herself, and she had no intention on running, just walking. Chara walked ahead and saw a box. She looked at the note taped to it.

This is a box, you can put an item in it or take an item out, why would you though? You can't use an item when it's in a box!

"Aw, come on now, hate is a strong word," Chara said as she chuckled at herself. Temmie didn't know what she was laughing at but her laugh was so contagious that she started laughing too.

"What are you laughing at?" Temmie said in between giggles and Chara calmed herself down before she answered

"I just made a joke to myself and started to laugh and then you laughed and that made me laugh harder," She said, still smiling and Temmie shook her head

"You're an idiot," Temmie said before she continued with Chara following only to be stopped by a waterfall/river with big rocks going down the stream.

"I don't feel like being hit by a rock today," Chara said as she backtracked and found a bridge of some sort, she went to the end and didn't exactly get across the river but found a nice echo flower.

I swear I saw something... Behind the rushing water...

Chara looked confused and looked closely behind the Waterfall and saw that there was a camera. "Temmie! There's a camera behind the Waterfall! What does that mean?!" Chara asked and Temmie looked just as confused and surprised as Chara.

"I don't know, Chara, just ignore it, I don't think it concerns you," Temmie said and Chara crossed her arms and pouted like a two year old but walked away from it, nevertheless. She looked at the river and took a deep breath and picked up Temmie before crossing the river. Halfway through, Chara accidentally went to the side of the Waterfall, expecting to find a rock wall but instead was opened to a secret passageway.

"Wow," Chara said before directing her attention to a pink item on the ground. She bent down to pick it up and realized it was a pink Tutu. She laughed and checked it.

"You should wear it! It'll protect you," Temmie said and Chara sneered.

"I've never been a big fan of pink," Chara muttered and Temmie looked at her like only a mother scolding her child would look at her before Chara groaned "Alright, alright, I'll wear it if I'm in a really tough battle," Chara said before putting the clothing in her inventory. She turned back with Temmie in her arms and went on, avoiding the rocks and made it to the other platform. Chara went on and noticed that the lighting had become more ominous. She ignored it and went into the tall grass but stopped when she heard a voice.

"Hey, Alphys, I'm here with my daily report!" She heard Sans' voice say "Regarding about the human I called about earlier.." there was another voice Chara didn't recognize before Sans spoke up again "Will I bring you to them? No, sadly they got away, slipped right past me, believe me, Alphys, I tried! Please don't hurt me!" Chara heard before she heard a loud smack of metal on bone and a crack heard. D-did Sans' skull crack?

"Useless! If you haven't of been so reckless, you could've brought the human to me, and they would've been with Asgore and we would've broken the barrier! Get out of my sight! And if you see that human again, you better bring them straight to me! Or it's your head!" This Alphys person yelled and the voice Sans had used next was so quiet and so weak that Chara had a hard time believing it was him.

"Y-yes, I'll help in anyway I can," Sans said and Chara's heart shattered hearing Sans' voice. He sounded so sad and so broken, she wanted to hug the short skeleton but knew that she had to stay hidden, plus she could never of gotten up the 90° wall. Chara moved as soon as she dared but the sound of grass moving altered whoever was about because Chara heard heavy footsteps coming her way. They stopped at the edge of the cliff. She heard something heavy be picked up and she dared not breathe. The person backed away and Chara didn't move until she was sure she was gone. Chara moved out the tall grass and saw a save point. She headed toward it before she was tapped in the shoulder. She turned to see the goat boy from before... Asriel, wasn't it?

"Heya, ya see the way she was staring at you? That was awesome, I'm pretty jealous, count yourself lucky, she doesn't give her attention to just anyone. What'd you do to get her attention anyway? Oh well, I'm gonna go, need anything before I split?" He asked with a smirk and Chara shook her head

"N-no thank you," something about him made her nervous and blush, maybe it was just the way he was looking at her or the way he acted but she felt her cheeks burn.

"Alright then, I'll see ya around," he said and continued on.

"Gross! He's trying to make you like him!" Temmie said as Chara went to the save point

Chara saved and continued on. She saw a river and a sign. She went up to read it.

When four bridge seed Aline in the water, they will sprout

She looked around the corner and found the supposed bridge seeds. She put down Temmie and picked up one. She put it in the water and it floated to the other side of the river. She did this three more times before the seeds sprouted into something she could walk across. She smiled at her accomplishment and picked up Temmie as she went across it. She went ahead and found more crystals before she ran into someone new. This guy wants to fight? The person who confronted her looked like a seahorse with hair and a six pack.

Aaron flexes in.

Chara put Temmie down to fight herself. She barley had a chance to do anything before Aaron attacked her. When it was her turn she decided to CHECK him.

"Check all you want, but it ain't gonna slow me down," Aaron said with a wink

Chara scoffed and began dodging his attacks again, finding it was a lot easier to dodge if she was closer to him than if she was farther away, which surprised her at first.

Chara flexed at Aaron and he laughed rudely at her. "Is that all you've got, no wonder you haven't fought back, you're so weak!" Aaron said and Chara glared at him. She had an idea to kill him but decided that wouldn't be the best option. She wanted to get through this place with MERCY. Although, the thought of killing him made a pleasant shiver run through her body. "Oh, did that insult please you?" Aaron said, obviously thinking he made the shiver happen. She rolled her eyes and decided to ACT again.

"A flexing contest, okay but I'll win!" He said as he winked. He attacked again and Chara wasn't exactly ready and barely missed the attack that came straight for her. She was breathing heavily as Aaron let her have another chance to attack. Chara flexed harder and suddenly felt very self conscious about herself, her face apparently showed it as Aaron smirked and laughed at her. "Ha! I'm gonna win, you look so pitiful right now, just look at yourself, I'd hate to be you, I'd rather have muscles like mine," Aaron said and Chara rubbed her arm and looked at the ground, she blushed from embarrassment. Aaron attacks her again and Chara thought about not moving but instead her determination won over her self hate and she dodged the attacks half heartedly, not really caring all that much if it hit her.

Chara flexed with much less enthusiasm and saw that Aaron flexed himself out of the room all together. That was very unexpected but Chara didn't question it as she picked up Temmie with a frown on her face.

"Chara? Are you okay?" Temmie asked and Chara smiled and nodded

"I'm okay, it doesn't matter much, I'm fine, I'm just tired, I need rest," Chara says and Temmie looks around.

"Well, I think we should continue," Temmie said as Chara nodded and walked across the bridge. She saw a sign halfway across the bridge and saw the bridge seeds from before

"Y'know, its very infuriating that I can't read that sign..."

"Yeah, but what's the point?" Temmie asked and Chara smiled

"I'm gonna get to it,"

"Wait, Chara, are you serious?" Temmie asked as Chara put her down and Temmie rolled her eyes as Chara made herself a little bridge to read the sign. As Chara read it, Temmie grew impatient. "Well? What does it say?" She asked and a pout grew on Chara's face

"It says 'Congratulations! You failed the puzzle.'" Chara said as she crossed her arms and ran up to the other end of the room to read another sign.

"If an error is made, just ring this bell," the sign said and Chara looked to her right to see a bell. She rung it and the seeds popped back into the place they started and she smiled.

"This is gonna be good, Temmie," Chara said.
