"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!!!!" Yelled Sans and Temmie as soon as Papyrus and Chara were through the front door. Papyrus closed the door behind them and looked to his brother lazily while Chara bent down to hug Temmie and give her a reassuring atmosphere.

"Papyrus! I might have needed your help today! Do you realize that?! I COULD'VE NEEDED YOUR PUZZLES TO FUNCTION CORRECTLY BUT YOU WEREN'T THERE!!! YOU WERE THE ONE WHO MADE THOSE PUZZLES, FOR THE LOVE OF ASGORE!!!" Sans yelled at him

"Master, what other human would come down here, only a day after this one, no less," Papyrus said, rolling his eyes.

"Oh my god, Chara, where were you? I was worried sick and I'm assuming you went off with this skeleton somewhere but I wouldn't know why, you could've told me, oh my god, did he hurt you in any way, you know how I am with him, you know how much I don't trust him, did he hurt you?" Temmie said in a rush and Chara let her down but was still kneeling.

"I'm fine, he didn't hurt me at all, he was a gentleman, he just wanted to hang out with me alone, without you there to chaperone," Chara said and Temmie looked over to the two bickering brothers. She looked back to Chara "We have to leave right now, go to waterfall, I don't want to stay here,"

"Fine, if you want for Alphys to never let me in the Royal guard then let them!" Sans said as he jumped up to hit Papyrus on the skull, he was successful but didn't do much damage. Papyrus rolled his eyes as his brother went to his room and slammed the door. He turned to Chara and smiled at her. Chara stood from her kneeling position and looked at him with a small smile.

"So, I was thinking you could spend the night here, you humans need sleep, right? You could take my bed, I'll make it for you," Papyrus said with a grin and Chara looked at him unsure but nodded anyway. Papyrus went up the stairs and went to his room sluggishly.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! WHAT DID I JUST SAY TO YOU?!?" Temmie yelled at Chara and Chara laughed softly.

"He looked so happy though, just one night? Please? And then we'll get out of here," Chara said, clasping her hands together trying to convince Temmie to let her stay. Temmie looked at her with her eyes narrowed and Chara let out a breath. "C'mon Temmie, what's one night gonna do?" Chara asked and Temmie's eyes switched to disbelief.

"Oh, I don't know, death is one thing, or did you forget the other timelines? Maybe he might do something else, I don't know," Temmie said and Chara looked at her, thinking.

"How about you'll be in the same room as me, then you'd know exactly what's going on, even if he's not in the room!" Chara exclaimed excitedly, "We could have a sleepover!" Chara said grinning. Temmie couldn't help but smile at her childlike behavior, she was 18 but acted like she was 12 at the moment. Temmie let out a breath to try to ease her anxiety and nodded. She didn't really want Chara to be in any sort of danger but it seemed like she wasn't hurt when she came back after 3 whole hours with the skeleton alone. Chara knelt down to pick Temmie up and went to the couch to sit down with her. Sans came downstairs and looked at them with arms crossed.

"Hello, human and... I'm sorry, can't seem to recall who you are," Sans said to Temmie and she rolled her eyes, it seemed she didn't like this skeleton either.

"My name is Temmie, and this human has a name, her name is Chara," Temmie said and Sans narrowed his eyes at her

"My apologies," he spat out at her, "I just don't like that I have to stand by while my brother harbors the very key that I have to become the very best and feared royal guardsmen," Sans said glaring at her and Temmie jumped down from Chara's lap to walk to Sans.

"I'm sorry that you have a miserable excuse of a job to kill every innocent human that falls down here," Temmie said and Sans knelt down to her level and smiled at her

"And how old are you again?" Sans said and Temmie's eye twitched at him.

"I'm probably just as old as you," Temmie said and Sans had an amused smirk

"Oh really? And I thought you were 5," Sans said and Temmie's breathing quickened.

"I'm 26! I'm guessing you're probably younger than me, seeing as you're so immature!" Temmie said and Sans laughed.

"You'd be right, I'm 23, I'm not very immature but my brother is, have you met him?" Sans said with a teasing smirk and Temmie crossed her arms

"Yes I have and he's more mature than you'd ever be," Temmie said and Chara looked to the two with a thinking face. The two continued to bicker or tease and Chara's face lit up. She really wanted the two to get along and for Temmie to get along with Papyrus but maybe if she got Temmie to tolerate Sans then it'd be easier to get her to tolerate Papyrus by connection! She grinned to herself because of her plan. "What are you doing?" Temmie said as Chara tuned back into their conversation and saw Temmie being picked up by him.

"Oh, is this bad? I thought you'd love to be picked up by me, seeing as you let the human
pick you up," Sans said, holding her and carrying her to the kitchen.

"Stop it! I actually like the human, thank you very much, put me down now!" Temmie said and Sans chuckled quietly. Chara nodded to herself, yes this could work! She could make them be friends, maybe even best friends! Chara jumped up and ran to the kitchen to find Temmie on the counter and Sans leaning on the same counter, trying to rile her up and get a rise out of her. Chara stepped up to them and Sans looked up to her and stopped what he was doing.

"Hey, human, I was just trying to be friends with your pet but she seems to not like me,"

"Do you think? Also, I'm not a pet!" Temmie said and Chara smiled at them both.

"Can I have Sans for a while?" Chara asked Temmie

"Please, take him!" Temmie said and Chara smiled and gestured for Sans to follow her. Sans did and Chara grinned at him while Sans gave her a wierd look in return.

"Could you please try to make Temmie your friend?" She said and Sans looked at her in surprise.

"Why would I do that?" Sans said and Chara looked down at her feet

"I just want Papyrus and her to get along and maybe if you like her then Papyrus will be able to like her a bit more," Chara said and Sans scoffed

"So you want me to play a star roll in your manipulation, what's in it for me?" Sans asked. Of course he had to have something.

"How about I will be your slave, instead of Papyrus for a day?" She said and Sans got a mean smile on his face

"Alright, I'm in," he said and, if Chara was being honest, she was kinda scared

"Thank you," she said and Sans turned with a spring in his step.

"Oh, Temmie dear~," Sans said before disappearing into the kitchen. The sound of a door opening came from upstairs and Papyrus came into view.

"Heya, sweetheart, you wanna see my room now? I hope it's to your liking," he said as he went back into his room and Chara climbed up the stairs and followed him but first tuned into the chatter coming from the kitchen. It sounded like Sans was cracking many skeleton jokes and Temmie shouted at him for it. It only fueled him to make more. Chara went into Papyrus' room and Saw that there was a made bed and a single widow with a drawer and a lamp on top of it and a closet that more than likely harbored all the mess that was supposed to be on the floor. Chara smiled at Papyrus as he looked at her for approval and Chara nodded at him and Papyrus smiled and clapped his hands together excitedly, "Oh King Asgore, We're gonna have a sleepover! Where should I sleep? The couch or should I stay here? What should.." Papyrus started rambling and Chara laughed at his excitement. He acted like a little kid opening Christmas presents in the morning. Chara shook her head and answered the first question she heard.

"You can sleep wherever you want," Chara said and Papyrus stopped being excited and stared at her but then smiled at her with the biggest grin she'd ever seen.

"Can I sleep with you?" Papyrus said and Chara nodded. He was giddy with excitement all over again. Does he get attached easily?

Suddenly she heard a crash downstairs. She and Papyrus ran down only to be greeted with quiet the sight.

Temmie looked mildly pissed off and annoyed and was covered in ketchup and taco sauce while Sans was trying to put out a fire and running all around.

"PAPYRUS!!!! HELP ME, YOU USELESS SACK OF BONES!!" Sans yelled and Papyrus calmly walked over to the fire extinguisher and took hold of it as he put out the fire. Temmie sat down and crossed her arms, giving Sans an 'I told you so' look. Sans noticed this and stuck his tongue out at her. "Well excuse me for wanting to give you something to eat, my queen," he said sarcastically and Temmie scoffed at him.

"Really? And putting the kitchen on fire was what that was?" Temmie said

"Shut up, I'm going to my room," Sans said as he closed the door and Papyrus smiled

"I'm ready to go to bed, how bout you?" He asked Chara

"Yep! C'mon," she said to both Papyrus and Temmie as she picked Temmie up and lagged behind Papyrus.

"I'm gonna keep an eye on you two," Temmie said and Chara laughed quietly. She entered the room.

It's a lot shorter than usual and I'm running out of ideas but I will try my best to keep this interesting, I'm sorry
