When I arrive back at school, I quickly make sure my hair and clothes aren't a mess. Can't let Sibuna know what I'm doing for the information. At least I don't have to worry about getting pregnant from a vampire. When I see Fabian I ask "Are Amber and Patricia not back?"

Shaking his head no "So what did Zephyr say?"

"He was vague but I got answers" nodding my head as I sit down "I'll tell you once the others get back"

"Get back?" We see Jerome look at us curious "Get back from where?" Fabian puts away the ring quickly "and why" he pulls out a stick from my hair "do you have a piece of stick in your hair?"

"Fashion" I lie

He nods his head not believing me before asking Fabian "What's that?"

"Just a math problem" he shows Jerome "nothing you'd understand"

Jerome quickly takes the paper sitting next to me "One" he tells us "nine and two"

"What?" I ask

"One, nine and two" he shows me, knowing him he wants payment "their the numbers that shows up the most...five pounds, please"

"Stay silent about this" waving the money

He nods his head, I hand him the money and he smiles "pleasure doing business with you both"

"Guess what guys" Amber and Patricia exclaims "Trudy us going to help us"

"Help you with what?" Jerome demands, when we don't say anything he says "and the plot thickens as they say"

I pull out five more pounds, this is my own money from the inheritance that my grandparents left me. Yeah they didn't like Bella, so before they died they made sure I got all the inheritance money. "Stay silent and you get five more pounds"

He takes it leaving "Pleasure doing business with you"

"What did you find out?" Patricia asks me

"Later" I tell them "but what do you mean you told Trudy?"

"Victor killed the cat" Amber hands me my necklace back "so we ran into her and told her about the cellar, not about the treasure or Joy"

"Okay" nodding my head "but I don't know, Victor could probably be moving everything as we speak from the cellar. So we don't know what we'd find if we went down there after confronting him with Trudy"

"She's right" Fabian agrees with me "why did you have a stick in your hair?"

"You had a stick in your hair?" Patricia asks

"I met Zephyr in the woods" I lie "thought a spider got on me, so I tripped" waving my hand "back to the cellar, we need a plan cause we can't just demand Victor to open the cellar"

"Maybe we just talk about the cat, have Trudy ask for it and have her vaguely tell him the truth" Fabian suggest "that way she can't get into too much trouble"

"Afternoon everyone" Jason our theatre teacher comes in.

"Afternoon" I say

"Time marches on and we need to decide on a subject matter for our school play" he says "I was thinking we should write our own" looking around "ideas anyone?" No one says anything so he tilts his head in acknowledgement for the situation "no? Okay" walking around since he doesn't stand in place for too long "um...how about something on Egypt?"

"I know!" Amber exclaims standing up "how about" she walks around using her hands as she gives the plot, I pulled out my water bottle which is a gallon of water. I've been doing that challenge to drink a gallon of water every day for an entire month—unfortunately I pee a lot "we do a story about a young girl who loses her parents in mysterious circumstances" coughing out my drink as Amber tells everyone about the treasure we're looking for "when they steal some treasure from an Egyptian pyramid" I share a look with Patricia and Fabian who are just as shocked as I am "and then the girl is brought up by a weird guardian in a big, old house. But then" her voice raises even more with each part "the guardian tries to steal the treasure and the girl has to try to stop him but then she gets help from some friends from the future like one of them is a direct descendant from the goddess Isis and Isis tells her descendant to help the little girl so they came back to help find the treasure. Then the girl's really happy and the friends are very rich and Isis's descendant runs off with a vampire having a billion little babies! They all live happily ever after" Patricia looks at me and her eyes widen. Guess she knows "the end"

We all stare at her before Jason nods his head "Hey, well done Amber. Yeah, that sounds promising though the whole vampire and descendant of Isis having a billion babies? Maybe not that part since it might confuse the audience but I love the rest of it. Do you want to have a go at writing up an outline in time for the next session?"

"I think I might need help with that" she looks my way "Lera?"

"Sure" nodding my head as everyone looks at me

"Jason" Patricia stands up, yeah Jason has us calling him that since he wants us to be able to talk to him like a peer. Colleague "I am having some feminine issues and need Lera's help" she pulls me up and out the door to the bathroom "you had sex"

I look under the stalls and lock the bathroom before saying "It's not what you think"

"Oh really?" She demands "so you didn't go and have sex?"

"I did" she raises her eyebrow "but it's because Zephyr didn't want to give any information for free"

She looks confused "Explain"

"Promise not to tell Amber or Fabian?" I ask

She nods her head "Promise"

"Zephyr only agreed to give me answers if I have sex with him" her eyes widen "at first it was just kissing but to him they were tiny, small questions. That the more important the question the bigger the payment"

"No" shaking her head

"What?" I ask

"First off" she says "that's sexual assault I'm pretty sure and you shouldn't have to do that, I want to find Joy a lot but not if it means you giving yourself over to a vampire in...that way"

"The deal is already done" I tell her

Shaking her head "I don't know what to say, thank you obviously but...you shouldn't have done that Lera. We could have found answers another way"

"The bright side" I tell her "vampires can't impregnate humans"

She chuckles "Yeah...and I promise I won't say anything and thank you"

"Sure" nodding my head "come on, let's go back before anyone comes in or tries to" she nods her head. Amber and Fabian look at us curious but we don't say anything.

When we are back at Anubis House, Trudy is speaking with the four of us alone "Okay, Victor's on his way and I've been thinking about what you said and it all seems far fetched"

"We know" I say "that's why we want to ask about the cat, a missing cat and not accuse him"

"Yeah" Amber nods her head "we don't want to get you into trouble"

"Oh" she tells us "it'll be alright dears"

"Okay" Victor comes in and sits down on the couch "What Trudy is this all about? What did you want to see me for?"

"Not so much me and the four of them. Amber and Lera found a black cat" Trudy tells him "in the house, so Amber took it in and tried to take care of it until it ran off. Their worried for it"

"A cat?" He asks

"They want to know" Trudy tells him "if you found the cat and are keeping it somewhere, like the cellar"

"We know you found a cat" Amber accuses "because of the cat scratches on your arm"

"Quiet" he warns before explaining "there was a cat I found, a stray which I put into the cellar for safe keeping yes" nodding his head "as it was my intention to call the animal sanctuary before it ran off, so when it went missing I tried to find it. It's possible that the cat escaped from you Miss Millington as it did I"

"No!" She stands up "Liar! He killed it!"

He laughs "Children! They have such vivid imaginations"

"Now Amber" Trudy tries to calm her down "if the cat left"

"The cat is locked up and dead in the cellar!" She screams

"Amber" she tries to calm her down "Victor? Maybe we could just pop down into the cellar? Prove that the cat isn't there"

"Are you questioning" he asks "my version of events, Trudy?"

"No, no" shaking her head "it's just...try to prove that there isn't a cat here or that it is and it's someplace safe"

"I am shocked, Trudy" he admits to us "I am shocked and hurt by your obvious lack of trusting"

"I just want to put their minds to rest" she says

"You want to see down into the cellar!" He demands standing up "hmm? Very well! Come on!" We follow him down into the cellar and we see nothing here. Hearing a meow, we look over to see the cat Amber was worried about "Ah!" He exclaims "the cat I presume, seems I was wrong. It found it's way back here...very much alive"

"But" Amber stutters "I saw it...dead"

"There were lots of things down here" Patricia motions "really really creepy things"

"Silence" Victor orders "Trudy, it has been very nice working with you over the years" what is he doing? "But after this fiasco, I'm afraid I can no longer continue to do so"

"What?" She asks

"Your fired" he tells her

~A Few Days Later~

We are all dressed and in the foyer ready to say goodbye to Trudy, I knew something bad would happen but I didn't expect this. "Trudy" I say "I'm very sorry for this" Trudy is leaving today, it some paperwork before she officially left. The others are angry at us because we got her fired. For the last week I've gone into the woods to fuck Zephyr when he offered for free I took it since I couldn't feel but at fault.

"It's alright sweetie" she assured me as she's ready to cry "it's not your fault, not like Victor was told how you all thought he killed a cat or did experiments"

She goes over to the others, as we see Victor come in "The taxi is here"

"How can you do this?" Amber demands "Trudy hasn't done anything wrong"

"Goodbye Trudy" Victor tells her and she leaves in tears. Heading to breakfast, I'm handed some...I don't even know what this is. I think this is oatmeal.

"I'm not eating this" Mick shakes his head

Victor looks at us "Trudy" Mara says "always gave us toast with our choice of jam and"

We see Alfie raise his meal and it's like glue, holding the cup and plate together "Forget Trudy" Victor orders "and if you don't like my cooking, you can always do it yourself"

"How about we go get breakfast from the vending machines in school guys?" Amber suggests. We all soon leave but see security cameras be put in "No way!" Amber exclaims "They're installing security cameras?"

"Isn't that a violation?" I ask "I mean it's one thing if the the cameras were outside but inside?"

"It is" Fabian confirms "total violation to our privacy"

"And" Amber adds "the cameras adds twenty pounds!"

"The school" Victor comes in "is always striving to improve your personal security, this is our latest measure to help you feel safe and secure"

"Wouldn't it be better if it were outside?" I ask

"She's right" Mara agrees with me "it would be better if it were outside" Victor just ignored us leaving.

"Hey guys" they look at me as we get our food "I can make breakfast and supper"

"No" Mara shakes her head "we can all cook"

Waving my hand "it wouldn't be the first time I've cooked for a bunch of people before, plus it is my fault in a way that Trudy us gone"

"It's all out faults" Fabian says "we should help"

"If your expecting" Jerome asks "for Alfie, Mara, Mick and I to object we aren't going to" Patricia gives him a look "what? We didn't get Trudy fired"

"I'm sorry I was worried about a cat!" Amber exclaims

After school we are in Amber and mine's room "How" Patricia demands "are we supposed to get around and look for clues and the pieces of there are cameras?"

"Easy" I say, they look at me "we just trick Victor into thinking he's seeing what's happening when it isn't. Like just get me into his office and I'll change some stuff around"

"How do you know how to do that?" Fabian asks

"I had a much different life before you all met me" I say

"How's sex with a vampire?" Amber asks

"What?" Fabian exclaims

"Oh right" Amber motions to him "you don't know, Lera and Zephyr are having sex"

"Really?" He asks "does he bite you?"

"No" shaking my head "we have sex, he holds back since his strength obviously could kill me but...it's amazing"

"Can you" Fabian asks "not go into the details with me around?"

"Sure" nodding my head "but our main focus shouldn't be on my sex life but on finding Joy and the cup. Sibuna" putting my hand over my eye.

"Sibuna" they all do the same

"Oh!" Amber exclaims "you Patricia still need to do the initiation"

"What's that?" She asks

"All you do is sacrifice something sentimental to you" Fabian explains to her "in a fire and recite a vow"

"We'll do it in the woods" I tell her "we can do it right now"

"Maybe we should enlist the help of Jerome and Alfie?" Patricia suggests "before doing anything else since it's easier getting their help then getting Victor out of his study"

We go to them and they suggest a silent protest, going over to a camera. Amber and I are before the one in the foyer as the others are at other ones. "Get away" Victor ordered through the comms "from those cameras immediately!" We hear storming footsteps and see Victor going to the living room where Alfie and Jerome are "Get away from those cameras" he faces us "at once!"

"What's wrong, Victor?" Alfie asks "we're only doing the same as you, watching you as you watch us"

"Fine" he goes back upstairs "you'll soon be bored of this nonsense"

~A Few Days Later~

In the morning I order the others "Get the muffins from the stove, Amber set the place where and Fabian help me mix that cake mix" I'm making my chocolate chip pancakes while he makes potato pancakes instead of hash browns. For today's spread we have chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry muffins, potato pancakes, bacon, sausages, and some cut up fruit. We've got to go to the store but I'll have someone drive the food here.

"We need Trudy" Patricia says "we can't keep making breakfast for supper every day"

"And the camera's taken down" I luckily was able to trick the cameras by putting screenshooting the place the cameras are watching but my friend in America says it won't last forever.

"But what do we do?" Amber asks

"We need to force Victor's hand" I say

"I think I've got an idea" Patricia says, we go to the dining area and tell the others what's going on and they agree.

When Victor storms in he orders "Get to your lessons right away"

"Not until we get Trudy back and the cameras taken down" Patricia ordered

"And softer toilet paper" Amber adds, we look at her "if we're making demands"

"You dare" he says "deliver ultimatums to me?" We look at him "I'll soon bring you all to your senses when I speak to Mr. Sweet about throwing you all out of school"

"You don't have the power for that" Patricia says "do you?"

"Oh Miss Williamson" he leans down glaring at her "I have more power than you could ever imagine" looking at us all "now get to school all of us unless you want to face the consequences"

We are silent before Mick leaves "the thing is, I have this sports scholarship. I need a good reference from the school"

"I'm sorry guys" grabbing my bags and things "but I'm here in a scholarship"

"Good choices you are making" Victor nods his head as we leave along with Mara, Jerome, Amber and a Alfie "very wise all of you!"

As I'm at school, I start on the first few acts for the school play. "Kat! Tali!" I still hang out with them and Robert, they look my way smiling "I need your girls help with something"

"Yeah" nodding their heads "what is it?" Talk asks

"You know the school play?" They nod their heads "I'm in charge of the script writing and one portion I want is to have dancing, as in a whole act for it and I need your girls help"

They smile "This will be fun" Kat agrees "I'm in"

"Me too" Tali agrees

My phone goes off and Fabian is having me go to Anubis House immediately "I'll text you girls more about it later, first I have to go somewhere" going back to the house, I'm met by Fabian and Patricia "hey guys, what's up?"

"We think we know where the next clue is" Patricia says

My eyes widen "really? Where?"

"The sarcophagus" Fabian explains "I figured out that one, nine and two are symbolized for nineteen twenty two"

"The year Tuts tomb was discovered" I remember the history regarding the excavation. I've also got it written down somewhere

"Victor is at the school" Patricia explains

"Okay" I go over to the sarcophagus, I press a button and see something go up and grabbed a clue before showing them. Opening it up I read it out loud "beleathered and clasped, here's the only place where yesterday always follows tomorrow"

"Beleathered and clasped?" Patricia asks

"An old brief case?" Fabian asks

"Or an old diary or book" going over to the staircase "there are a lot of them in boxes here" we go into the staircase and look around before I find a bunch of photos of Victor "hey guys look at this" getting out I show them "this is more proof"

"What price" Fabian asks "do you think Victor paid for this?"

"Who did he kill you mean" I correct him
