"What did you say to him?" Bella demands looking at me as were before my Range Rover. I'm about to go down to go to Cora's Cafe to have dinner with my baby daddy and girls. Luckily this town hasn't been as prejudiced as I first thought about me being a unwedded mother.

"What?" I ask as she pulls me over to her truck, why? Why did she bring me over to her truck?

"What did you say to Edward?" She demands "why he seemed more interested in talking to you?"

"I told him I wasn't interested in him" I tell her "maybe this is unknown, someone not wanting to fuck him like everyone else in this school. You included"

We hear a screeching and horn honking, I am pushed down as Bella is shoved to the side. Edward Cullen above me pushing Tyler's van over. I see Bella with a cut on her head while Tyler also has one, his window rolled down "Lera, I'm so sorry" Edward left, why did he do that? Why did he save my life like that?

"Lera!" People push the van aside as Jessica, Angela and Lauren are by my side. Mike and Eric are by Bella's side.

We are soon taken to the hospital to be checked over, Tyler and Bella first before me since they have visible injuries aka their heads. Charlie soon storms in looking at us relieved "Bella! Lera! Are you alright?" Coming over to us "you and I are going to talk" looking at Tyler then to me "you girls alright?"

"Bella has a head wound" I tell him "a concussion maybe"

"We're fine dad" Bella assured him

"I'm sorry Bella, Lera" Tyler apologized again "I tried to stop"

"I know it wasn't your fault" Bella says

"Tyler" he looks at me "stop apologizing, we know it wasn't your fault" looking at Charlie "black ice, anyone could have been killed"

"You both could have been killed" Charlie says "do you understand that?"

"Yes" Bella says "but I wasn't" she wasn't?

Looking at Bella, I narrow my eyes on her suspiciously. If she tried to kill me...oh, she's a dead bitch. Dr. Carlisle Cullen soon comes in "I heard the chief's daughters was in"

"Dr. Cullen" he greets

"I've got Leralynn, is it?" Carlisle asks before I nod my head. He checks my chart then checks me over for injuries.

"Lera" I correct

"Well Lera" he says "looks like you took quite a spill, how do you feel?"

"I want to see my daughters" I tell him "so can you just get me out of here"

He nods his head "Look here" he has me look at his finger as he shines a light in my eyes "you might experience post traumatic stress" I snort amused "something funny?"

"Nothing" I say

"You might have some disorientation" he tells me "no head trauma unlike your sister who has a concussion"

"I'm so sorry" Charlie shuts the sheet as Tyler apologized for the billionth time it felt like.

"Can I go?" I ask

Nodding his head "Your father just needs to sign your discharge papers"

"It would have been worse" Bella says as Carlisle looks her over "is Edward wasn't there, knocked us out of the way"

"Edward?" Charlie asks "Your boy?"

"Yeah" Bella nods her head "it was amazing, he got to us so fast. He was nowhere near us"

"He was next to us Bella" I correct her

She looks at me confused "No he wasn't"

Nodding my head "he was, you and he were talking about the weather and how you don't like the cold"

"No he wasn't" she argues

"Bella? Is it?" Carlisle breaks up the fight, oh yes. The whole town knows how much I hate Bella and she hates me "you have a concussion, that mixed with post traumatic stress your mind is mixing things up to simply put it"

"I'm not crazy" she snaps

"And I'm out of here" I get off the bed

"Call your mom" Charlie tells me "she's really worried" nodding my head, I leave the room and find Carlisle, Rosalie and Edward arguing. Ignoring them I leave but was called.

Looking at the three I cross my arms annoyed "What?"

Edward looks at me confused "How are you?"

Scoffing "If you cared" glaring at him "you wouldn't have done what you did"

"What did I do?" He asks

"Mommy!" Looking over I see my daughters and Zephyr here.

"Zephyr" Carlisle breathes out, I see him keep his two kids behind him "what are you doing here?"

"Mommy" Ruby cries "I'm so glad your okay"

"Me too" Ripley cries "why didn't Aunt Doggy die?"

"Because that stupid idiot there" pointing at Edward "saved her life"

"Bad idiot!" The girls go over and hit Edward in the legs then in the dick making him fall over cupping himself.

"Girls" I call when I notice Bella, the girls go over to me and we leave as Zephyr tells Carlisle something very lowly that Carlisle nods his head in fear.

"Come on girls" Zephyr motions for us to leave. As Zephyr drives us home in my Range Rover, he says "if Bella tried to kill your I'm ending her"

"What did you say to the Cullens?" I ask

"I told them" he takes us down to his cottage I realize. Well he calls it a cottage, I call it a gothic mansion in the woods near La Push but not really. It's closer to the Cullens place by a bit. The girls are on one side of the house while he is on the other. There is a pool and jacuzzi in the backyard also for the girls which we don't let them near unless we are also out there "that if Bella finds out about us or about the supernatural from them in any way, I'm ending her and the entire coven"

When we get there, the girls head inside while Zephyr and I go to his room. "Zephyr?" He looks at me as I close and lock the door "if I'm pregnant again, I want to know why your so hellbent on making me pregnant? I deserve that much—do you want a son? Do you not love our girls?"

He stares at me "I love our girls more than you could ever know"

"Then why" going closer to him "why try to impregnate me?"

"A thousand years ago" he tells me after he pushes me down to the bed to sit down, he crouched between my legs "I lost my coven, my family. My venom parents. My three siblings and their mates. The love of my life and our three children—all to the Volturi"

"The Volturi?" I ask

"I'll explain them later" he shakes his head "but what you need to know is that I wanted a family again...children to love. Someone with a shield to pass on to her children and could survive having my kids"

"Me" I realize

Nodding his head "Your sister could have been used too but no. I chose you because you have the ability to be a mother, Isabella doesn't. I needed someone like you, someone that could handle all of this crazy. Also there is this anger inside of me that if the children one day get because of the Volturi, I know that through your guidance that they could one day be happy and find their way in the light and not anger"

"That's why you want me to give you any children?" I ask

He nods his head "I'm sorry...if you end up pregnant again, I'd be ecstatic. Please give me a family Leralynn"

I've known many liars, mainly through Bella and I know Zephyr is keeping something from me but I know he's sincere about wanting a family. Someone to raise his children with him. Well he didn't say that but it was implied.

I can't believe I'm saying this but "Okay..."

He smiles brightly kissing me before pulling away "legs go find the girls, make sure they don't break anything"
