Star Pov

'I've been sad for a year, don't tell it's getting better'

I sat in the chair that was next to his bed, and was writing everything I did while he was out, even though I didn't have to do this I just wanted him to read it to catch up because I can't possibly remember everything..maybe but I don't know just want to make sure,

it's my and Marcos Junior Year, yes Marco is qualified as a junior he was advanced in all his classes he was way ahead but wanted to stay with his friends and wanted to be cool.. "Hello Star, doing some homework?"

I look up and see the nurse "Oh hey Lina, nope writing about stuff..how is he? I know I asked for the past 2 years and stuff but I want something better then 'He's fine' no more I need new information" she giggled

"Well, he's doing great and maybe he'll wake up his swelling from the back of his head finally went down and the brain is slowly starting to work..but don't quote me on that"

she changed his fluids and left "Bye I guess" I said back and I walked near him, "Marco, we are 17 years old that's like 2 years since then or maybe longer I'm not very good at math because you're the one that helps me"

I groan and play with his long hair and his small patch of facial hair "You have a beard..well kinda" I giggle and poke his face and I blush and I look and see the locket I gave him, it's starting to rust with him wearing all the time

"Marco I just want you to wake up and hug me and kiss me, I can't take advantage of you while your out, it won't feel right" I move away and look at myself at a small mirror and fix my outfit

"I bought a new outfit, it's a pink high waisted skirt and a teal crop top, and sanded, and I cut my hair a bit by a bit, I mean never much"

I say playing with it "When you wake up, I don't want you to cut your long hair, you would super cool that way and the so called beard" i laughed and

"Sorry, I'm a growing teenage girl, I have needs" as I walk closer I rub my nose on his and lightly kiss it "Knowing I can't do this when your awake I like to have fun" I sit back in the chair and continue writing, just know your not awake and I'm here...

Marco Pov

'Your just a dream...your not real'

I walk along with Star to school, we are finally Junior's but hey it took us awhile, since my birthday last year, Star would be in and out of this world which scared me she is even freaked out and also looks afraid too "So..after today wanna..have some fun?"

She said flirtatiously "Star you know..we aren't ready for that" she stops and wraps herself on me and I look at her cute face "But Marco, I've been waiting for this moment..I know you have been too just this one time.."

I blush at how close she is and I push her away "Star..just stop with the teasing..if I do it I'll regret it" she groans and walks away from me "That's all you do, wait and never do it, what will happen when I go back home and never see you again what then?" I raised an eyebrow and pulled her hand "Listen, your not going to leave me just yet, we have time stop saying things like that for me to do it" she smirks and kisses me

"Your no fun, but I love you" I chuckle "Me too" she wraps herself on me and we walk into school, pretty much the school went like always, nothing has changed, it's kinda weird and it looked kinda different this time

As I walked out of my final class I heard someone calling my name 'Just wake up for me, I miss you' I saw it was star again in the middle of the school quad "Star.." I shake her gently

'Marco just wake up, I miss hanging out with you, I know your close the nurse told me, please just this once so I can kiss you' I didn't understand all the words she spoke because we are awake, why would I need to wake up?

'I'm sleeping next to you, please connect with my head when you sleep..I know we can communicate..' stars eyes closed and she fell and I caught her "Star?" She pushed me again and started to cry "What's wrong?"

She looked at me and ran off "Star!" I yelled back but she didn't respond and I walked home alone, as I reached home the door was wide open and pieces of clothing was on the ground and it leads to stars room,

I was hesitant at her door because she could be naked and I didn't really want to invade "Star? Are you decent?" I heard tiny sobs and I open and saw her on the floor cry with her blanket on her body "What's wrong?"

She was startled and sigh "I'm not real.." I gave her a confused look "What are you talking about?" "Star..your Star is trying to communicate with you..when I close my eyes I see her with you, your asleep Marco..you need to wake up"

I get up and move back "What? But you are my Star" I say looking her, she revealed herself and was transparent "I'm just part of your imagination, you created this whole place, all the things you wanted you made all of this..including me" she walked closer to me and her hand felt like ice "But all we did and do was not real?"

She nodded and held tight "I think this is it for us, you need to go back to your real life instead of this dream world" I didn't want to believe all the years that past by was me dreaming of what could of happened, me with Star, being able to do well at things, more family time? All of it was a dream as I look down I saw the locket "Is this real or is it going to fade?"

She looked at me and smiled "That isn't going to fade trust me" I nod and my head started to spin, too much to handle all at once, I walk out and go to my room, jumped on my bed and covered my face with a pillow "This was all a dream, a long, long, long dream!"

Star Pov
I look at facial expressions, he seemed like he was freaking out and his heart was racing, and it kinda got me worried until I heard the monitor beeping like crazy,

I ran out to the nurse and told her and she came and did something and he relaxed again "What the heck just happen?!" She sighs

"Um, his mind is slowly waking him up, he'll be doing this a couple times so don't panic" I nod and I slowly go to him and feel his heart, it was steady once again that really freaked me out

"Stop scaring me Marco, it's enough your asleep but your heart beating fast too? Just stop it" I hold his face and see tears fall and I gasp, what was he crying about? Did something happen in his dream?

As I kiss his forehead a smile appears and fades away "Just relax and try, I'll be right here for you wild man" I lay down beside him laying my head on his chest and get some sleep myself, it's been a couple months since I actually gotten any sleep "Please meet me in my dreams"...
