Anyways I'm working on a book based off a show I watched a couple months ago and it reminded me of Starco so its another Starco au of magicians or powers in a high school

Basically both of them are powerful but Star has a secret that nobody really knows until things start happening at the school

So I'll post it here so you can get a taste of it I guess lol 😂

Title: We're Magicians not Lovers

Nothing could compare of how much Star hated to babysit untrained lower ranked magicians, just the idea of her watching and keeping the rouge from trouble was just messing with her focus on her mind

She made it to the president of the school as she awaited her task "I'm sorry you have to take care of this, its truly not my intention for you to do this" star simply sigh as she nods "Its not your fault Ericka, we all have things to keep in order"

she nods and hands star the report with her task "M-014 or know as Marco has been causing an uproar in his old school, he's quite impressive if I say so myself, the way he knows when someone activates their magic, he even has a good eye with codes"

star raised a brow a little overwhelmed thinking this Marco could possibly beat her ranking as she was ranked 10 just like the president and the rest of the student council members "What type of power can he wield?" Ericka shrugged "I have no clue, but he's lower rank right now, not a bloom yet"

I looked down at my arm seeing my bloom patch "Will he earn them?" Ericka groans as she takes a seat "eventually but he needs to learn how to channel it, thats when you come in"

star gulp at the thought but eased seeing she will be okay as long as he doesn't cast a jamming spell on her "Understood, where is he?" Ericka clicked her tongue as she looked at me "In the mess hall with the rest, I hope you do well with this task" star nods

"Will do" star starts walking out the office and head towards the mess hall as she reached the area she found her task sitting at a table eating alone, perfect timing for her to introduce herself

"What is it now? I did nothing wrong" he said coldly yet calm "I'm not here to blame you for a crime you yet had committed unless you already have" Marco gave her a evil grin as he shot his light brown eyes at her, scaring star a bit at how just a stare could startle her

"Relax, I haven't done nothing wrong and I guess you work for the DCP seeing your badge and the rank on your uniform" star blush a bit but stood her ground "I am, I'm here to help you control you magic and to use it only when necessary instead of pranks or causing a disturbance in the school"

Marco chuckled as he looked at star noticing the seriousness in her face "You seem hard to reach, do you smile?" Star nods "When I need to, I yet to know who you are and for the remainder of the school year" Marco groans a bit "So your babysitting me? What am i? A child?"

Star snickered a bit before composing herself "So, you do laugh and smile good to know" star rolled her eyes "I don't want it to be like that, let's just be friends or whatever you want us to be" Marco smirked "So if I wanted,  I could call us buddies? Commrads? Love interest?"

Star blushed the last part "I perfee you call me by my name or the first two things you said" Marco let out a airy laugh as he looked right into stars crystal blue eyes "You got it, beside I don't really see us a thing no offense" star huff a bit

"Whatever, let's get going so I could show you where we will be training" star watched as Marco followed earning the looks of lower classman and lower ranks "What's the flower on your arm mean" star looked to her side as she kept her focus

"Its where your ranked, I'm a bloom which is high skilled magician" Marco nods as he looks more at star and her features "Hearts on your cheeks, born with or rare-" "Birthmarks, my mother has diamonds on her cheeks" he nods as mustered up another question

"Butterfly, I hear that family comes from a line of high power magicians, so I assume your the next one?" Star stopped walking thinking of her family history, seeing all the good ones to the evil ones "Um, are you okay?" Star relaxed as she felt her hearts warm up

"I'm fine, come on we're almost there" as they reached the room Marco took in his surroundings as star setup the training for him "We start with the basic, you'll try to get off my feet" Marco chuckled as he looked at me "Thats all? Easy"

star held a smirk as the buzzer sounded in a instant she had Marco on the floor dazed and confused "You failed" Marco groans "That was too fast, I wasn't ready!"  Star let Marco go as he prepared himself

"Next is combat, there will be a time where you will not be able to use your magic, so you need to learn how to fight" Marco nods and got into position as star stood in place with a wide grin on her face "Good luck"

star managed to say as the buzzer when on,  Marco came running towards her and threw a punch but star moved and caught Marco and pinned him to the ground "You failed" Marco was getting annoyed at this point "What kind of magician are you?" Star giggles as she moves off Marco

"A powerful one, that is the second thing you failed, Marco you need to focus or you'll surely lose" Marco groans and moves his arm around "What's next?" "Mind concentrating, its very vital when you try to understand your enemy, are you ready?"

Marco nods a little unsure what to expect for her "Perfect, let's begin" they both sat across from one another, as star took a deep breath Marco did as well,  he was sure he will pass this one

Marco concentrated as he saw star in his mind, she still had her eyes closed and he wandered towards her until he was pushed back by a force field 'What the hell?' Marco looked at her and questioned her abilities 'if you wish to enter you must feel connected to me' Marco didn't understand because he barely knew her as it is but he was determined guy

Star watched as he tried his best entering her mind but he couldn't, and he left… Star opened her eyes seeing Marco frustrated that none of the task he was given were successful "Marco" he stood up "No, I'm done I failed the things I'm good at on my first day"

Star manages to stand up and walk towards the guy, holding his arm to comfort him though it didn't help when he pulled away "Thats why we have training all year, if you like we can hang out of school and practice at my home" Marco looked suspicious wondering why I, a butterfly of high ranked invited him to her home

"Do you believe thats a good idea?" Star shrugged "No, but I'm trying to make you into a better magician" he chuckles as he looked at her "When you pushed me against the wall, your coding was off…also your a little slow when you took my down"

Star smirked "Your smart but you show it" Marco shrugs as he begins walking away "Where are you going?" "Arent we going to your house?" Star blushed but composed herself before walking up to him "If thats alright with you" he nods "Alright, follow me"

As the two made it to the Butterfly house, Marco never expected it to be so high tech and modern, watching how star entered and seeing the people that worked in the house as well "Good afternoon Ms Butterfly"

star smiled waving at the tall muscular man in a black suit "Afternoon Silas, he's with me" the man nods and they enter the house "Wow, so its true" Star didn't like the fact everyone knew she was a butterfly bloodline but its not her fault, but she wishes she had a different last name

"Yes, follow me" star pointed towards the room where they will be training "I'll be back, I have to change" Marco watched her leave and he decided to take a little adventure around her giant house

As Marco opened a door it revealed Star exposed in her underwear but she was facing the other way, Marco quickly closed the door and continued on feeling a little embarrassed walking in a girl he barely knew but he was lucky she didn't know

As he walked into another room, it was filled with portraits of all the butterfly bloodline, including a portrait of the girl herself, Star Adeline Butterfly,  Marco took a close glance at them seeing her mother…Star looked just like her

"What are you doing here?" Marco jumped when he saw star in gym wear, and her hair in a high ponytail "I wanted to have an adventure" star groans and sighs "No one is allowed here, so would you mind getting out, now!"

Star yelled but Marco stood in place "Your up there, are you next?" Star couldn't comprehend a sentence so she used her magic and knocked Marco out

Star couldn't let him know her family secrets, not even about the dark magic she can posses, Star decided to bring Marco to his home so he just have a do over day, star managed to erase the portrait room so he won't have any memory of it "I'm sorry"
