Star Pov
I practice my dance that goes along with powerful spells when I get distracted by my door opening as I am about to yell I get hit and fall to the ground, as move around and open my eyes I see a worried Marco "Star you okay?" I nodded and he helped me up "Okay good, so want me to make you some nachos?" I smiled and started laugh but when I did nothing came out and Marco raised an eyebrow at me "Star, did you lose your voice?" I go wide eyes and shrug 'I don't know?' I mouth out but Marco doesn't understand "Okay, hold on a sec" he runs out and comes back with a notebook and a pen

"Write on here when you wanna say something" I nodded and began writing as I finished I raised it up to him "You were doing a spell and I walked in and made you lose focus...Sorry maybe you can reverse it?" I give him a look and write down something else "I can't, don't have a voice to call glossaryck" he groans "That troll? Fine if we got no other choice" we walked near my spell book and opened it and he popped up

"Hello, what do need?" I wrote down and passed it to Marco "Star needs a reverse spell, but she can't speak because she accidentally got hit with the mute spell" he chuckles and looks at me "Your mother did the same, You need to do the dance to the spell, then stand in front of a mirror and say the words, well write them on the mirror and you'll be set, but be warned it doesn't always work..good day"

he left and I sigh but it wasn't even heard "Come on Star, you can do it, I believe in you" I smiled at Marco and nodded, as I looked for the spell I started writing it on my mirror, I used a washable marker and wrote it down, I did the dance and twirl and shot at my mirror but it didn't work and I start banging my wand in my head, if my yelling was heard it would've drove Marco crazy

"Hey chill, you might've messed up the dance or something or the wand isn't working right?" I glared at him and shake my head "Am I upsetting you?" I nodded "Sorry, I'm trying to help I'll go" he leaves and I feel bad now that I nodded to him being annoying but he wasn't helping anyways, I tried again and again but nothing, glossaryck was right it doesn't always work, I might have to ask mom for help if she can understand me

"Hello Star, what's wrong?" I started writing what I wanted to tell her "You used the mute spell..on yourself?" I nodded and she just sigh "How many times have i told you not to use magic on yourself especially difficult ones?" Like a thousand times, but I never listen "Did you do what glossaryck told you?" I nodded "Nothing worked?" I shook my head with a sad look "I hate to say this but..you need to get kissed to reverse it"

I had my mouth open at what she said, I quickly write my comment "What kind of kiss? A kiss from the person your closest with, which I assume is your best friend Marco right?" I blushed and nodded, I like Marco but he doesn't like me like that I bet "Star..did you hear me?" I nodded and hung up, now how am I gonna get Marco to kiss me? He wouldn't do it because I know he wants Jackie to be his first I can't sacrifice that for him "Hello princess, can you speak?"

I shook my head and he chuckles "Did you ask your mother for help?" I nodded again and left to look for Marco "Hey Star, any luck?" I grab his his hoodie and lean up-to kiss him but he pushed me away "Whoa what are you doing?!" He was blushing and slightly awkward "Star, why did you try to kiss me?" I held the paper and started writing my explanation and showed it to Marco "You have to kiss the person your close with..which is me?" I blushed and nodded he had tints of pink on his cheeks and looked hesitant to even answer now

"Star, I care about you I do but you know how much I want my first kiss to be with Jackie" I felt like a brick hit me right on my face, might as well be mute Star for years to come "But..to save you I'll do it, but it's just a friend helping a friend out okay? Don't be getting ideas" I nodded and smiled at him, he moved closer and held my face, I could feel his heart rate zooming and I placed my index finger on his lips and he looked at me

"What's wrong?" I didn't want him to kiss me and feel weird afterwards, I could say a spell of him forgetting the kiss so he can have a redo of the kiss "After I kiss you, you want to erase the memory?" I nodded "So I can get a redo.." he smiled and pulled me into a hug "Thank you Star" as he slowly pulled away he looked at me our eyes locked on each other and we leaned in and our lips touch and it felt amazing and I'm kinda gonna regret erasing this memory, as I open my eyes I push him off and look at him

"Did it work?" I hope it did "I hope it did...Holy unicorns it worked!Yay! I got my voice back!I got my voice back and I'm never doing that spell again" I was jumping around Marco and he chuckled "I'm glad your back.." as I looked at him I pulled out my wand "Want me to erase your memory of this?" He looked at me and the want and sigh "Actually..no I don't want to" I blushed a bit "But what about your first kiss with Jackie? A do over?" He shakes his head "I'm pretty sure Jackie already had her first kiss, and now I have mine, thanks Star" I smiled and held my arm "No problem" he walked out the living room and upstairs I stayed there 'I love you' he'll never know..
