I quickly carried star in my arms as we ran towards the nurses office, she was out cold and her magic was draining her. She looked scared as she looked right at me but as I held her hands she relaxed but I could tell she wasn't okay. "She's going to be fine"

I look at the vice president "Has this happened before?" She nods and sighs "Yeah...she tends to over think and burn herself out. She hasn't burned out like this since she started her third year, maybe it's her mother telling her to focus?"

That doesn't sound good? This also isn't healthy even though I know somewhat of her family but I wouldn't tell her she seemed really worried on what I thought of her, maybe I'm over thinking this.. "I think she likes you" I turn my head back at Jackie who had a small smirk

"What?" "You heard me, she likes you I can tell the way you two act whenever you're together..she seems more happy then she normally is" I blush and shake my head "That's impossible she told she wouldn't even think about us in a million years, we're just friends nothing more.."

star did say she wouldn't fall for someone like me, I'm too reckless and immature as she likes to put it "Give her time..she'll come around and besides I've seen the way you look at her..good day Marco" she walked away leaving me speechless.

I looked at star who was sleeping, I walked towards the bed and sat by her. Did this hot headed girl actually have feelings for a guy like me? I chuckled softly as I moved her hair from her face "You confuse me" as I stood she grabbed my wrist "Star?" "Stay.."

she said barely but her hold on my wrist was weak "Okay.." I sat down and she sat up taking a deep breath "Are you okay?" She asked not looking at me "Yeah how about you? You freaked out earlier?" She lowers her head "I lost focus" I tilted my head and looked at my feet "Why?"

She looked up and let out a small breath "Because I couldn't keep my emotions and thoughts in check.." she had tears fall down her pale face and I wiped the away "What's wrong? No one is here but me" I smiled and she wiped her face

"I had a dream that..my magic killed you because you thought I was using you..I got upset and struck you so hard you hit the wall so hard you died.." she let out a loud sob as she pulled me into a tight embrace, I felt bad for her and realizing she's getting attached to me makes her feel worried or scared

"I-I-I..I could've killed you today because I kept seeing you dead on the floor..Marco I'm sorry" she put her head on my chest and cried, I didn't know what to say? She's truly afraid of losing me? That I will die in her arms by her rage? "Star..answer me this"

she tried relaxing but she still had tears flowing "What?" She said as she held my shirt "Do you like me? As in more than friends?" She slowly let go of my shirt and looked at me "Star?" She stayed looking into my eyes as she remained silent "I do"

was all she said, barely even audible but I heard it clear "Since you came into my life...i know we didn't really get along at first when we met but I knew there was something about you that caught my interest.." she fixed her hair as she sat in a comfortable position

"I never really thought that I would actually fall for someone like you, reckless and takes short cuts. But I did..the moment we went to the mall and you told me I have a cute smile, the clothes you bought me even though I told you not to..but overall I just like being in your comfort because I feel safe"

she smiles as she lowered her head. She felt safe with me? "I didn't intend to fall for you but I did..I just hope it doesn't change anything in our friendship?" I lifted her chin up and looked at her "Even though you like to push over and make everything into a lecture I never realized I got through to your wall? I mean I didn't really think it was possible but then the more I hung out with you and trained the more we bonded or whatever?"

She giggles "But my feelings wouldn't change no matter what okay? So you like me?" She pushes me and crosses her arms "Are you kidding me? That's the only thing you say as I pour my feelings out to you?!" I chuckled "I'm sorry I just wanted to make sure? Because you could be just saying things and then forget what you said the next day"

she sighs and shakes her head "What happens now?" She looks at me and shrugs "Honestly I have no clue" I smiled and kissed her cheek "one step at a time okay?" She blushed and punched my shoulder "You idiot you can't just kiss me!"

"I just kissed your cheek! Not on your lips! That hurt Star" she groans and sighs "Take me home" I looked at her and she had a smirk "Okay.." as I let her dressed she made me carry her to her home. She laid on my back and I could feel her soft breathing which was relaxing me

"Can't stop my heart when you shining in my eyes, can't lie, it's a sweet life" I smile as Star keeps singing I liked when she was relaxed and sings she was like in her own world "You're getting me, getting me through the night..cause your my flashlight, my flashlight.." I will alway be your light..
