I finally moved from Mexico to California a month ago, Dad got a  better job and made him move i didn't mind the change of scenery but it was way different from what I'm used to. "Marco you want us to drop you off?" I looked at my parents before heading out

"No thanks, I'll like to see the new neighborhood" they nod and I head out, it was quiet where I lived but as soon as I came towards the school it was loud and crazy and everyone seemed to have their groups.

As Marco walked by groups of people I froze when I saw a girl with beautiful blonde locks, red stained lips and a dress that hugged all her curves, a red leather jacket with hearts over the back..she's something.

She was stunning and way out of my  league if I say do myself. She was giggling with her group and she looked at me with a smirk before I was pushed against the lockers

"Move it Nerd!" I winced at the slight pain as I saw glare at the boy who pushed me "Tommy Knock it off! This is why I left you Bird brains!" She rolled her eyes as she swayed away with the boy following behind "Seems that they were together?"

I rubbed my head and head towards my first class, as i did I see the girl from before, she chatting with her friends and I say two rows behind not wanting anymore problems "Good morning class, seems we have a new Student joining us this year..Marco Diaz, please stand up"

I stood up and everyone looked at me including the girl "Where you from?" Asked Tommy "Mexico...my dad got transferred so-" "Shut it, I asked where your from not your life story" he started laughing with his group and the girl just kept looking at me and I sat down a little embarrassed.

After class I tried catching up to her as I did she gave me an odd look "May I help you?" She said chewing her gum quite loudly "Yeah, never caught your name seeing you already know mines" I smiled and she rolled her eyes as she leaned on a locker

"Names Star Butterfly, Part of Heart Ladies..nice meeting you bai!" She whipped around her hair hitting my face as she giggles. That made me more determined to get her to go out with me. "Hey wanna get some pop and burgers after school?" She scuffs

"No thanks I'm busy" "How about the day after?" She started to glare a bit "I'm busy that day too.." I smirked I liked the her nose scrunched up and her cheeks were pink

"When are you free?" She clicked her tongue before answering "Never..I gotta go" she took off and I groan, she isn't the girls back home.

The next few days I tried speaking the way Tommys group spoke but I actually didn't want to be part of his group unless it got me closer to Star. As i headed towards the bowling ally I practiced what I should say, as i came through the doors I see Star with her Ladies and Tommy with his, and by the looks of it they looked to be fighting

"I don't care if your with Janna Tommy and it doesn't make me jealous!" "Your totally still into me Starship! You always come back!" "What am I second prize?!" I stood there afraid I might be caught in the middle "I'm over you Tommy! I'll prove it!"

As she walked towards me I stepped away but she stop in front of me and grabbed my face and kissed me, it felt amazing and when she let go she stuck her tongue out at him and left with her girls.

I was still dazed by the sudden kiss she planted in me, I didn't know that's how I get a kiss from her? As I went to speak with Tommy he pushed me aside running after Stars group and I just sigh, this is gonna be harder than I thought.

After months of rejections, I had to ask her why she kept rejecting me? "Hey the offer for pop's and burgers are still open?" She groans "Listen no offense but I'm not gonna answer you to a pity date" a pity date? How low.

"Then why did you kiss me months ago? You have me thinking of you differently" she smirks "I was trying to make Tommy jealous, and you were in the middle of it, so sorry bout that" I sigh "Why don't you go out with me?"

"Don't you get it? I'm into bad boy greaser, knows how to ride a motorcycle and knows how a treat a girl right, something you are not..so I'll always reject you no matter what! Now leave me alone" she took off and it felt like a million stone's had destroyed my heart

"Tough luck kid, she's one hard chick..also I need a little help with English..so what do you say?" It was one of Tommys goons "How much?" "About a dollar? But you have to keep this between us Diaz" I sigh and nodded "Alright..I'm in" after that deal I helped Tommy goons pass the class until Star wasn't doing so well. This was my chance..

After class star looked angry and I acted casual and asked her the basic questions "What's wrong?" "Miss Scullnick says this paper is full of errors and it doesn't make sense! I worked hard on this.." I smirked "Well I can always help? I have an A in that class?"

She looked hesitant to answer me "Tell you what, if you meet me at pop's and burgers I'll help you and pay for your food" she giggles "Don't expect anything from me Diaz" I put my hands in my pockets

"I won't, you already told me what you like" I left her with a grin on her face and I was excited that I actually got her on a date well somewhat of a date.

She finally arrived and threw the paper in front of me "Alright help me out" I took the paper and just tried not cringing at the misspell words and improper formatting "So? What do you think?"

"If I'm being honest it's not the best, we read Romeo and Juliet, star crossed lovers..you just wrote girl pretends to die which caused her man to kill himself and when she Woke up she killed herself? It may be true you need a little more detail"

she rolls her eyes and looks back at me "So what should I do then?" I took the pencil from her ear and started fixing it and when she read it she smiled "Wow this sounds way better than how I had it" I smirked and nodded

"Yeah, perks of being a nerd or geek" I said quietly and she soften her expression "Hey, it's good to have smarts, I wish I did to be honest" I looked at her "Your smart, you just don't show it"

she blushes and looks away from me and eats her fries and burger "Thanks Marco" I nodded as we finished eating she told me to scram seeing that she still cared about her image which I didn't understand.

Since then I started practing riding a motorcycle and changing my appearance to fit her liking. I even made surprise appearances for her to like me and it was working I think. I was determined for her to like me back.

And when it was last few months of school I pulled up at the front entrance with blue jeans, a white tee with my sleeves rolled up and my hair slicked back. I was completely new person and I really hope Star noticed.

I waited for her as I kept my helmet on, Tommys group circled me "What's the big idea?! This our turf buddy so move along why don't you?!" I rolled my eyes "I don't see your names anywhere so I'm fine where I am" he got close to me and glared at me "Who the hell are you?"

"Someone who's gonna win a girl's heart" he was confused until he saw Star staring at me with a blush across her face "Whoa nice ride, can we take it for a spin?" I nodded and she hopped on "Starship! What are you doing? He ain't even in the hang?"

She scuffs "I don't care! Leave me alone!" With that we ride off and we rode for hours until we made it to a cliff where we saw the city "Where have you been all my life?" I smirked as she looked at me "Who are you? I've seen you around being the daredevil that you are"

I pulled my helmet off and fixed my hair as her expression was shocked "Its you! How couldn't I see that?" Her expression was confusing, was she upset it was me or is she happy that it's me? "Are you mad?"

She pulled my shirt and pulled me into a kiss that I just melted into "Any guy who is willing to change for me is the guy for me" I smirked as I pulled her for another kiss, she giggles between it before we headed back home..

After we did Tommy looked at me and handed me a jacket from his group "Welcome to our group" I smiled and star wrapped herself in my arms "Guess we do get our happy endings" we laughed and fooled around, I actually did it. I got the girl I wanted and be part of group who I can call my friends..
