Donghyuck sighed and stared at the clock right above his head, begging God to send down a miracle and sending him 2 hours into the future, so he could just get back home and sleep til night, and then join his friends to a good sleepover at Chenle's.

Although he dreaded they'd have to cancel the plans. The extreme heat outside didn't seem to chill, but whatever. A man can hope, Can't he?

And as if God had heard his prayer, a loud bell suddenly chimed throughout the hallways outside, making everyone in the room, including him, flinch at the sudden noise. Looking up in confusion, Donghyuck saw their class president; Dejun; point straight at the speakers rested on a high shelf atop the white board.

All head raised upwards, some (Like Mina and Marks unmatched nosy and impatient selves) even muttering out the dumbest bets that it was to end classes early.

(''I'll sell my soul to Satan if it's to go home-''

''Oh shut up Mark, that's weak. I'd sacrifice my dog to Hades-'')

''Attention, students!''

Everyone fell quiet at the blast of their principles deep voice, listening intently for one and only one reason.

''We are sad to state that due to extreme heat, and a bunch of students being sent to the infirmary at P.E, Star City Highschool is to Close earl-''

''FINALLY OH MY GO-''

Donghyuck abruptly pulled the screaming Hendery back down and giggled nervously, cursing the hyper active guy on the inside before bowing his head around and apologizing to everyone- not ignoring the way a certain Lucas was practically choking due to stifled laughter.

The announcement had now long ended, and everyone was excitedly packing up their bags and making their way out of class in a frenzy, everyone including the two brothers.

Mark walked infront of Donghyuck during the entire walk, mindlessly chatting away with Lucas whilst Hendery decided to conversate with the younger of the two.

''So, how are things going?''

He craned his neck towards the younger, who smiled lightly at the other before going back to his default frown.

''It's fine, hyung.''

It was all but fine. The younger felt irrationally sad, like something dark was brewing within, slowly, yet painfully, taking over his insides and making them churn. Donghyuck felt like glass that could break with the lighest blow of wind, a piece of cloth placed upon a lit stove.

The male found it hard to genuinely smile since yesterday, he felt guilty for no reason whatsoever. Like he was always nothing but a nuisance. An annoying burden on his parents shoulder. No wonder why they preferred to send him to live with his eldest brother; not like he liked him either, though.

Maybe Donghyuck was the problem in this scenario. Taeyong always gave Mark his care, maybe it was just that he wasn't cute like Mark, or he wasn't a free man like Jeno, neither did his curse include useful powers; telekinesis; like Jisungs. Donghyuck was just Donghyuck. An 18 years old male, incapable of resisting a long slumber that could result in death if taken too long infront of sunlight.

It hurt, on some particular days. When everyone around him would be out in the morning, and Donghyuck would only see through his Sunglasses, the world outside his safe Haven. Most days he would sigh in annoyance and hop off the bed, texting his friends to throw a last minute get together at approximately 8pm.

Now, however, he just felt bad. His friends were so supportive of him, and for what? For him to order them around like the brat he was, always using his problems to get them to do what he wanted. And it's not like Donghyuck was to blame them, he wouldn't like himself either if he was in their place.

'Maybe I should just end this frien-'

''H-hyuckie?''

Hendery's voice snapped him out of thoughts, and the younger looked over to see the other looking at him with a sad smile adorning his face.

''It's okay to not be okay, hyuckie.''

Only then did Donghyuck realise the tears cascading down his cheeks, dripping onto his shirt.

Quickly wiping them away, Donghyuck responded to the other with a half hearted smile and a side hug before he bid his goodbyes and quickly strolled up to his brother (who was now already opening the car doors). Aggressively jumping to his seat in the back, he slammed the door shut just as violently, diverting his brothers' attention to him momentarily.

''Uh- you good?'' The owner of the car, Taeyong, confusedly asked but got ignored by the younger who intentionally removed his sunglasses and stared straight at the glowing planet up in the sky, quickly falling into deep slumber as the Sun rays shined over his whole being.

Taeyong seemed to get the message, wearily locking eyes with Mark before averting his attention on the road again.

This was by far the most uncomfortable sleep Donghyuck had had since two days.

''Mark- Grab Hyucks bag please?'' The eldest grunted, struggling to pull their sleeping brothers body out of the car.

Mark did as asked, sprinting up to the house to shove the door open so Taeyong could carry Donghyuck in.

Struggle ensued, but soon enough Donghyuck was laid on the bed with his sunglasses on the bedside table, whilst Taeyong and Mark took up the job of ridding him of his annoyingly hot uniform.

''Wouldn't trade the world for you, Hyuckie.'' After the task was done, Taeyong pecked his forehead gently, leaving the room with Mark following suit.

They really wouldn't trade the world for him, and they could only wish Donghyuck knew that as much as everyone else did.
