A/N:

This idea has been roaming around my head for weeks.

I tried to focus on the TV series but I bought me the game not long ago and while I love the HBO version, the video game continues being my favorite.

Maybe once I finish this, I'll consider writing a version of the HBO series, but for now, this book will focus on the video game.

Now, before you venture into this mess, I want you to know English isn't really my best friend. It took me ages to find words to describe stuff.

I didn't realize English was so complicated, man.

Valerie too is kinda a bit of a panicking mess most of the time but she tries to brace through a world not so kind. It's a post-apocalyptic world after all, she can not risk vulnerability in a world that would not hesitate on tear her into little yummy pieces for infected dudes.

Sometimes though, I think I'm not doing a very good realistic job. Any inconsistency, don't be afraid to point it out to me. I just ask you to not be rude about it.

I read and proofread every chapter like three to five times before I continue with the next, however I still may miss some few things. Translating stuff from Spanish to English tends to be a pain in the ass and sometimes, the translation doesn't work in my head like it should or it does and I still don't like it.

Anyway, I hope you like Valerie as much as I am enjoying writing her.

I am still debating on wether to make this Ellie x OC story, but the scales are rising up to a profound 'No' so far, (considering I'm aromantic and wouldn't even know how to write romantic shit not even as a joke), but, things could change, I suppose. Time will decide.
