Everyone woke up to a nice fire, once again started by Morton.

"Good morning!" exclaimed Morton. "On our menu today we have some rice, a coconut, and one fat ouster! Everything is a la carté."

Boo and Wiggler looked at each other in surprise. Roy was already somewhere else.

"That Roy..." Wiggler said as she took a bite of rice. "He's always somewhere."

Morton walked away from the group. "Look, I'm going to catch some fish."

"We don't even have a fishing rod..." Boo told him.

"But we have these!" Morton raised his hands, and sprinted off into the horizon.

"Woah!" Boo exclaimed and facepalmed.

"What?" asked Wiggler.

"We gotta make sure Roy isn't looking for that idol!" Boo told her.

"Crap, you're right." Wiggler got up and brushed the sand off of her.

Roy ripped out a bush from the ground. "Nothing there." he said quietly.

"Okay, I BARELY escaped last tribal council. And I know I won't this time. So my only choice is to look. Look look look." Roy said in his confessional.

Roy returned to camp with some wood and palm fronds when he spotted everyone sleeping in the hammocks and their poorly-built shelter. He quietly placed the wood down and sprinted off into the woods.

Roy immediately facepalmed, almost laughing at his own stupidity. He tumbled down to camp and grabbed Morton. Roy ran off to the beach, Morton still sleeping in his hands. Not wanting to disturb anyone, Roy woke up Morton.

"What the hell?!" Morton screamed.

"Shush! Others are sleeping! Morton! We forgot about the idol!"

"Oh my god..." Morton started sprinting to the well.

"I'm telling you, Mario probably found it. That's why he was digging next to the well." Roy broke the news to Morton.

Morton got up from the sand and brushed his arms off, full of sand from the digging. "Found it." Morton held up a small golden Lakitu statue.

Roy gasped.

Anyways... HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you everyone for making 2017 such a great year for me. I've now accomplished 3k reads on two of my stories (I think) and 2k on another one! Thank you guys so much 😃
