The next day, the class takes a field trip to the zoo to learn about the animals and how important it is to save creatures from being endangered. Unfortunately for Adrien, he was uncomfortable facing the zoo because of the new jaguars they'd be presenting.

"Adrien, you okay?" Marinette asked.

"Huh? Yes, I'm fine, Marinette" Adrien snaps out of his thoughts.

The PTSD was getting to him and if the animals trigger his trauma, it could make him go hysterically crazy.

"Let's go," Marinette said.

When they got inside, they saw the same guy from months earlier who tended to the new elephants and rhinos. It was Pelle, but now in an official zookeeper uniform. Another was Luna, who was the zoo guide, telling all about the animals.

"Welcome to the Zoo, everyone. I'll be your guide for today's visit" Luna said.

"Oh, great. That Mexican loser" Chloe scoffed.

"Is the entire group here?" Luna ignored Chloe and checked the list.

"Yes, everyone's here," Miss Bustier said.

"Well, looks like everyone's here" She looks up, "I'm Luna and I'll be showing you the animals from Peru" So she leads them to the section of the zoo where animals from South America inhabit.

"What is that?" Marinette had never seen that type of animal anywhere.

"That is a kinkajou" Luna held the creature in her hand carefully, "They are part of the Procyonidae like raccoons, ringtails, and coatis. These creatures are carnivores and also nocturnal"

"Impressive" Alya snaps a picture.

"Their lifespan in the wild is around 20 years. In captivity, they have been known to live up to 30 years, however, the average lifespan in captivity is between 23 and 25 years" Luna explained about their lifespan.

"That's interesting," Nino said.

"Ugly creature" Chloe scoffed.

Next, Luna let a blue-and-yellow macaw sit on her arm, "This is a macaw, one of many parrot species from South America"

The class kept listening as she explained.

"This is the blue and yellow one and like other macaws, they enjoy eating a variety of seeds, nuts, fruits, berries, leaves, and other vegetation." Luna fed the macaw some berries, "Macaws are intelligent, social, and playful birds. They are known to use tools, mimic human speech, and are very aware of their surroundings"

"Aaaack! Surroundings!" The macaw mimicked her last sentence.

"And of course, Macaws are very vocal and make a variety of sounds, including squawks, screams, and loud calls. They use these sounds to communicate with each other, mark territory, and identify one another" Luna added since it cawed.

"Question; how long do they live?" Alya asked.

"They can become 45-50 years old," Luna said.

"Probably related to the dinosaur lifespan," Nino said.

"Macaws are known to be popular pets but one thing shouldn't be done, don't feed them crackers or cookies because it can result in health issues" Luna made a point.

"And they put that in cartoons," Alya said.

"Anyway, these parrots are known to form close bonds with each other or even their human owners." Luna continued.

She then puts the macaw on the stick it was sitting on before, "Moving forward. Can anyone guess what animal this is" Luna asked as she showed them the llama.

"A llama" Adrien answered.

"Correct. Llamas are best known as domesticated animals in South America. They are part of the Camelidae family like camels and alpacas. Llamas are very social herd animals" Luna explains about the llamas, "One known fact is that they actually spit out stomach content if they feel threatened" She explains why they spit, "The llama's wild form is the guanaco, one of two wild camelids in South America" She explained it's wild counterpart.

"Is there a difference between them?" Nino asked.

"There's two differences. Guanacos are more slender than the llamas and do not as varied fur" Luna told the differences.

"Interesting," Nino said.

"And remember, never provoke a llama because they can spit on a person," Luna said.

The students all nodded in agreement, except Chloe and Lila.

"All animals have feelings and socialization than just being wild animals. Now, onto the jaguars" Luna said.

This made Adrien very pale to see jaguars to triggered his trauma when he received the scar from them in the jungle.

"The jaguar is the only member of the Panthera family that lives in South, Middle America, Mexico, and smaller populations reported on the southern states of the United States, like Arizona. It looks similar to the leopard but bulkier, has a more reddish tint and its spot pattern is different. But like the leopard, they can also become panthers" Luna describes the jaguar, "For such feline, it has a very powerful bite, strong to crush the skull of its prey"

Adrien was losing color on his skin like he felt hyperventilating and breathing rather too rapidly from all the panic attacks.

"Adrien?" Marinette noticed.

"Dude, you okay?" Nino sees how pale he looks.

Adrien staring at the black jaguar was triggering his traumatic memories.

"I gotta go!" Adrien rushed away from the jaguar exhibit.

"Adrien!" Nino and Marinette ran after him.

"Excuse us," Alya said before joining them.

Adrien was not okay at all and he couldn't face the jaguars in the zoo this time, not when it's triggering more of his trauma.

"Adrien, what's wrong?" Marinette asked.

"Those jaguars.... remind me of the ones in the jungle," Adrien said, hyperventilating.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Dude, breathe slowly. Pull it together" Nino shaking him to snap out of it.

"Adrien, breathe calmly. Guys, give him some room" Marinette said.

Adrien breathes slowly as he slowly calms down, "I think I'm still traumatized again. I can't face that beast again. The jaguar was the reason I got attacked and received the scar" Adrien hyperventilated a little.

"Dude, calm down. We're here for you" Nino assured his best friend.

"Panthera once told me that being perfect doesn't mean what people want me to be. It's about being true to myself" Adrien said, breathing slowly to calm down.

"Exactly. Feeling better now?" She then asked.

"I don't know" Adrien was unsure because right now he can't face his trauma again.

"We're right by your side," Alya said as Adrien got up.

Right now, Luna showed the class the Strawberry poison-dart frog.

"This frog got its name from the natives that used their venom for their darts" She carefully held the frog with gloved hands.

"Is it dangerous?" Kim asked.

"Well, it's extremely toxic so predators hardly try to eat them. Deadly to the touch for humans if the poison comes in contact," Luna said.

"How lethal is the poison?" Rose asked.

"It's enough to kill 1000 people, one of the strongest venom," Luna said.

"Wow," Rose gasped.

"When you see shiny frogs like these, never touch them. Especially toads with warts too. Any questions?" Luna asked.

Marinette then raised her hand once she came back, "I got one. How many species of poison dart frogs are there?"

"170 but only four have been documented" Luna answered.

"How do you tell between a panther and a jaguar?" Kim asked.

"Well even with black fur, you can still see the spots when they are exposed to light," Luna said.

"Venomous and non-venomous snakes?" Kim asked.

"I'm glad you ask. For one thing, Non-venomous ones have no long fangs in their mouths, like this boa constrictor here" Luna held up one, "But getting bitten by non-venomous snakes won't kill you but it can cause infections if not treated well" She then puts the boa back in the box, "It's always important that animals are saved from becoming endangered species" She said and the class took note of this.

"Some species may be important for the environment, like the bees" Luna gave an example of why some species should be preserved, "And even animals that eat grass too because, without them, too much grass and weeds will grow rapidly in the wild"

"Interesting," Marinette said.

"And without predators, too many plant-eating animal populations to increase to eat up all the plants. It's called balancing the circle of life. It's always important to respect Mother Nature and the wildlife" Luna said.

Chloe just silently scoffed. Lila seems to have an idea to get Chloe all worked up to trigger an Akuma. So with a sinister grin, she approached her.

"Boring, isn't it? It's like that zoo guide knows everything about animals than you do. If I were you, I would maybe treat people like animals" Lila manipulates her.

"Yes, they are after all supposed to be my lapdogs, under my finger," Chloe said.

"I also heard that Panthera is titled as the Jungle Queen" Lila pressuring her anger.

"There's no such thing as queen of the jungle!" Chloe's anger grew, and an Akuma soon approached the zoo sensing her.

"There is now," Lila said.

The Akuma then landed on Chloe, the neon mask appearing over her face, "Safari Queen, no one should admire another queen over you. If people can't be respected, they should be treated as animals. I'm giving you the power to turn anyone into an animal and see how they like that" Shadowmoth said.

"With pleasure!" Chloe transformed into a jungle-themed villainess. The class and Luna gasped in horror.

"Behold the true queen of the jungle!" She zapped at Kim, turning him into a spider monkey. Then she turns to Marinette, about to zap her when Alya jumps and takes the hit, becoming a vixen.

"Pelle! Look out!" Luna ran towards Pelle and tackled him down when the laser shot his partner, turning him into an elephant.

"Oh no!" Pelle saw his companion freak out over his new form.

Adrien saw to his horror how some were turned into animals from the amazons like caimans and anteaters. It was all coming back to him again and he sure did not wanna go into a hunting mode again. He runs away to a safe spot to hide.

"Kid, you got to transform!" Plagg pleaded urgently.

"I can't! I'll go savage boy again!" Adrien said with fear.

"Then it's up to Ladybug," Plagg said, seeing Ladybug swing into the llama exhibit.

"Okay Safari Queen, tour's cancelled!" She spins her yoyo.

"You'll be in my insect aquarium, bug!" Safari Queen fired.

"That doesn't make sense!" Ladybug dodged it.

"SHUT UP!" Safari Queen shouted.

Adrien let out his feral growl at the threat that was happening in the zoo.

"No! No! No! Adrien! Stay calm!" Plagg pulled his jacket.

Unfortunately, he couldn't keep it together since he's more provoked and extremely pissed to see Chloe becoming a threat to his territory of Paris like a solitary big cat would become.

"No Adrien!" Plagg begged.
