After the magic ladybugs repaired everything, the members of Gabriel's club returned back since the sentimonster was gone. Some nearly blamed Panthera for no reason but she quickly defended herself that she was protecting them.

"Without your heroes and my partner, we wouldn't have stopped Earworm," Panthera said.

"She's right. She made sure it wouldn't possess more" Adrien took her side.

"She's the expert in sensing a trap. She's amazing and cares too much to protect anyone from danger" Blu Tembo held her hand.

"Thank you, chico," Panthera said.

"She saved Adrien in that jungle. If it weren't for her, Adrien would never have come home" Ladybug said.

"Exactly. Or I would have lost my humanity completely" Adrien agreed.

"I apologize for what just happened, but thankfully, no one got hurt. That's what matters," Panthera said.

The partiers murmured and nodded in agreement with her heroic efforts along with the others.

"We'll be in touch anytime to this city. That is whenever we'll be here" Blu Tembo corrects himself.

"My little cub, I was so worried that I failed to protect you" Panthera hugs Adrien.

"You didn't fail me" Adrien replied.

"I know you've faced danger but I hope someday you'll be safe from akumas," Panthera said.

"I hope so, until Shadowmoth's defeated," Adrien said.

"That moment will come, guys. As long as you have the miraculous teammates, that's the symbol of teamwork. Something that Shadowmoth never has" Blu Tembo said.

"It's like you said Tembo, with Cat Noir and I as a duo, there's a balance," Ladybug said.

"Yup, I did," Blu Tembo said.

"Whatever Shadowmoth will throw at us, together we'll win regardless," Ladybug said.

"And he can't hide forever," Panthera said.

The next day, Gabriel was told by Nathalie that Adrien can't go to fencing class just yet because of his trauma and fighting triggers a lot to become mentally dangerous for Adrien's trauma.

"Please sir, it could be dangerous to his mental state," Nathalie said.

"Very well. He'll have a time off" Gabriel said.

"And he needs therapy to get over his trauma too. Panthera suggested that to me. And from now on, no akumatizing anyone. Last night nearly endangered him" Nathalie said.

"How could that panther woman sensed something was up?!" Gabriel smacked his tablet aggressively, "I was this close to stealing her miraculous! The only chance to track Ladybug and Cat Noir!"

"Your Earworm controlling others made it too obvious," Nathalie said.

"She's a bad influence on my son! She taught him too much in that jungle!" Gabriel said.

"She found him only months later! She helped him regain his right mind!" Nathalie protested.

"My son is turning into a savage hunter! His behavior will ruin the Agreste legacy!" Gabriel argued with her.

"And who forced Adrien to be sent to South America in the first place?!" Nathalie hates how hypocritical he can be to put his blame on anyone to avoid the mistakes he can't ignore.

"I never intended for him to be lost!" Gabriel argued.

"Against his will. The more you keep him in the dark, the more he's gonna feel lost to himself. You're the one who endangered him, Gabriel. You cannot hide behind him for long. Right now, he needs a break from you" Nathalie said before going to call a therapist for Adrien.

Much later, Adrien was at the therapist, describing the time he was stuck in the jungle, minus with Plagg.

The jungle was like it was alive to him, chasing him everywhere. The animals were the guardians and protected the Amazon jungle and its nature.

"It was like the jungle teaches animals to become one with nature. 4 months was inescapable for me and I felt like I was becoming an apex predator than a civilized person. Fear and anger mixed all together to never let me go insane" Adrien explaining the struggles he went through.

"I see. But what else kept your mind stable in the jungle?" The therapist asked.

"The thought about those I befriended in Paris," Adrien said.

Although it was half a lie because he had Plagg with him but he did nearly almost lose his ability to socialize with real people.

"There were times I really thought I was gonna die there" Adrien explains his near-death experiences, "But it was like God was keeping me alive since I guess have more life to live with"

"It seems that you were in luck to survive your way through without losing much of your sanity. Jungles are dangerous to get lost in, kid" The therapist said.

"Since I came back to Paris I still think about the jungle," Adrien said.

"It seems these experiences are stuck to you like glue, kid. Like taking baby steps to now a new person" The Therapist said.

"I guess so" Adrien replied.

"Adaption is like a survival instinct. Like living in society is how it makes you feel more civilized" The therapist said.

"The problem is I can't escape it. Surviving in the jungle made me who I am" Adrien said.

"If I'm correct, the problem may be you're suffering from post-traumatic stress," The therapist said.

"That's what Panthera said to me. The question is, am I still a savage wild man?" Adrien asked.

The therapist then fiddled for an answer, "A wild man that still tries to adapt, yes" The therapist said.

"And my father will never let me be just myself. That model in me is now dormant" Adrien said.

"You wish to be someone you're not?" The therapist guessed.

"I never got the time to decide what I want to do, it's always been him controlling," Adrien said.

"I suppose you've been under his rules for too long, you lacked experiences of your own until learning in the jungle, and you mastered as a survivalist," The therapist said.

"Yeah, maybe you're right," Adrien said.

"You're a kid, Adrien. As yourself as a teenager, teenagers make their own choices in growing up" Therapist said.

"Yes. I think it's soon time I'll end my career as a model" Adrien said.

"And explore your own interests in life rather than anyone telling you what to do. If you don't learn your own, you'll miss out on experiences. But since your experience in the jungle, it changed you to a different person. There's more to life than modeling" the Therapist said.

"Precisely," Adrien said.

"Question is, were you scared to kill for food?" Therapist asked.

"Yes, if the prey fought back," Adrien said.

"And are you dead?" Therapist asked.

"No, I'm not," Adrien said.

"Yes. You became a survivalist without any training" The therapist said.

"For 4 months and it was near dumb luck to have my ass alive for so long," Adrien said.

"Luck or not, it was instinct that saved your life. No teenager could survive in that jungle for long but you were the first one to make it out alive" the Therapist said.

"Yes, I am" Adrien smiled.

"Everyone is something special, kid. When you learn something new, it brings out a new trait for you" The therapist said.

"But there is something else that bothers me more. Having no choice but to kill....poachers and mercenaries. They were gonna kill me if I didn't get the chance" Adrien shuddered at that trauma.

"Was it in self-defense?" The therapist asked.

"Yes, they didn't hesitate in killing kids. But still, their blood on my hands still haunts me" Adrien said.

The therapist was now lost for words for a moment before clearing his throat, "There's always a killing for most certain things but you did that to survive" the Therapist said.

"Isn't killing an evil thing? I killed adults but they were still people" Adrien said.

"Shades of grey. Whether for good or bad. The question is, did you have an addiction to killing as you desire?" The therapist asked.

"No, I don't" Adrien replied.

"Did you choose death?" The therapist asked again.

"Never," Adrien said.

"Your mind and body were a reaction to tell you to live," the Therapist said.

"I just hope I won't kill anyone again here in Paris," Adrien said

"Did your savior Panthera judge you as a monster?" The therapist asked.

"No, as a lost soul" Adrien replied.

"I see," The therapist wrote down.

"And I faced cannibals that eat intruders. The horror of them skinning a victim alive" Adrien shuddered.

"How did you escape?" The therapist asked.

"By sheer luck, I managed to break free," Adrien said.

"You are something, kid. God has kept you alive" the Therapist writes down Adrien's thoughts.

"Thank you" Adrien replied.

"But here's my advice, be what you are today. The past is the past. You are a human being who makes your own choices in life" The therapist said.

"I hope I can build up my first independent choice," Adrien said.

"It's worth a try," The Therapist said.

"Panthera did once tell me that it's either live or die and I choose to live by killing those that tried to kill me," Adrien said.

"That's because you did it in self-defense," The therapist said.

"Yeah, I did," Adrien said, but he hoped he wouldn't do it again as Cat Noir, "The question is, can God forgive me?"

"Well, seeing how these men were child murderers, God should forgive your sins," the Therapist said.

"So is it okay to let out my inner wild man side?" Adrien asked.

"That is up to you. You managed to experience something new for yourself and explore new things outside of Paris" The therapist said.

"I sure did," Adrien said.
