It was only a matter of time until Gabriel decided to bring Adrien back on modeling and be sure that Lila never becomes Adrien's replacement. He hired professional makeup artists to ensure Adrien's scar was covered while in photo shoots. Adrien stood completely still as they covered it up, even adding some fake strands of hair over the section of the eyebrow. When he was given a mirror, he almost looked like before the disappearance. Although, it felt like being in disguise which is like a lie.

"Well, it's better than nothing" Adrien looks in the mirror.

"Monsieur, you are ready for your photoshoot," The photographer said.

"Yes, I'm ready" Adrien got up.

He was relieved Lila wasn't there today. He couldn't stand another minute of her touching him and getting in his personal space.

"Okay, here goes," He thought as they got started.

The photoshoot took place at the park again while his bodyguard was on the lookout.

"Okay Mr. Agreste, stand still with the rose in your hand" The photographer instructed.

"Like always" Adrien muttered.

They clicked a few pictures of him before they requested a new pose. It was too predictable as he remembered every pose and instructions coming back to him.

"Excellent Adrien," The director said.

"Thanks" Adrien replied.

After all the pictures are taken, Adrien takes a break to be alone and have quiet time without anyone bothering him, except for Plagg hiding in his jacket.

"Old habits coming back" Adrien muttered.

"But at least your father doesn't have to complain about the scar," Plagg said.

"As long as it's covered," Adrien said.

"Surgery is a lot of money for that skin. Plus, not a good idea to hit the vision nerve to go blind" Plagg said.

"Yeah, too risky," Adrien said.

"But if your father suggests surgery, you should say no" Plagg said.

"Yes, since the potential risks" Adrien replied.

"Plus, you're kinda a little young for surgery," Plagg said.

"Anyone my age can get surgeries" Adrien corrected him.

"You know what I mean, kid. Surgeries don't fix but cause more scars" Plagg said.

"I know. But lasers can remove them. However, scars can turn a person into a traumatic psychopath. I'm nothing like that" Adrien said.

"You'd never be like that," Plagg said.

"If you think about it, it's like worms crawling inside your skin to give a traumatic side effect to haunt your mind and make you go crazy" Adrien shuddered.

"And I just lost my appetite. That is if you get parasitic tapeworms to make you go hungry for food nonstop" Plagg resumes back inside his owner's jacket.

He was also reminded by his father that tonight is Adrien's reunion ever since he disappeared and was later found. Gabriel made Nathalie the public news press for Panthera to join the soirée as herself. It wasn't like Gabriel to invite anyone who was not a member of his club or the high-class wealthy family.

"Well, what else could go wrong?" Adrien thought.

He had to look his best for the event. Except that his father forbids him from inviting his friend over, but Kagami and Chloe.

"I just hope Chloe doesn't make a scene again," Adrien said.

"Panthera has that Spanish glare so scary, it's like all Spanish mothers are the boss," Plagg said.

"Yeah, especially when they rant rapidly," Adrien said.

"I mean you can't date a young adult like her," Plagg said.

"I know," Adrien said.

"Whenever your dad plans something against your will, an Akuma shows up," Plagg said.

"I hope Ladybug arrives in time," Adrien said.

"Panthera will be there all the time. She's great at protecting you like a grown young adult" Plagg said.

"Good," Adrien said.

"Plus, she declared you as her cub" Plagg snickered.

"Ha ha ha" Adrien laughed sarcastically.

The bodyguard grunts that it's time to head back to the mansion to get ready for the soirée tonight.

"Time to go," Adrien said.

After coming back to the mansion, Adrien changed into a tuxedo for the event. Like last time there was a soirée, the Collector (Sentimonster) caused the party to get terrorized.

"Well, can't wait for my savior to arrive," Adrien said confidently.

"I expect this to go smooth, Adrien. Especially from your savior to be respectful to my club members, including them" Gabriel gestures to Chloe, Kagami, and Felix.

"Understood. She has some manners after all" Adrien straightens his bowtie, "But this is her first time at a soirée, father. We don't want her to be pressured at this"

"I know" Gabriel replied.

"So don't embarrass her. I owe her everything when she found me in the jungle" Adrien said.

"You have my word on that," Gabriel said.

"And do not embarrass me again like you did so many times. Especially when you stood me up" Adrien said before noticing that Panthera entered the entrance before everyone took notice of her.

"Bonjour everyone," Panthera said.

"There she is" Adrien faced her.

The club members were asking questions to the jaguar superheroine about her duties and saving the day but she simply answers with short words since she doesn't like to be pressured on her night.

"Glad you came, Panthera" Adrien greeted her.

"I didn't want to stand you up" Panthera held her hand out for Adrien to kiss it.

Adrien did so while bowing, "Well, it's an honor" Adrien said.

"I'm not much into soirée because it's too.....private with no fun. But as a superhero, I have to honor it for your return to Paris" Panthera said.

"Thank you" Adrien smiled.

"And I see you're coming back to your old self. Mostly. Has your father given you space a bit?" Panthera asked.

"Yes, to let me recover from the jungle and adapt to normal life again," Adrien said.

"Except the akumas happening around here. I just hope nothing happens tonight. It feels very predictable" Panthera said, trying the gluten-free food.

"As long there's positive energy, we should be fine" Adrien replied.

"Except from her" Panthera gestures to Chloe talking too much about herself to the partiers.

"Yep," Adrien replied.

Panthera can hear the lockdown of the mansion, sealing the windows and the door entrance. Since this is a private party, it can't let intruders ruin it.

"For security's sake," Gabriel said.

"Like a horror movie. Too predictable if that were for real in real life" Panthera said, not amused at why Gabriel is so secretive.

Unaware that Gabriel planned this to steal the jaguar miraculous from her so that with its power, he can track Ladybug and Cat Noir from their hiding.

"Of course. And for the sake of akumas," Gabriel replied.

"I wouldn't be sure of that," Panthera said, knowing this has happened before and lockdowns are not easy to get out of.

Adrien then felt like something was off. He remembers last time when it came to a lockdown, something would definitely happen. It's almost as if it feels like a setup or a trap.

Even Felix felt something was up. It was too predictable what his uncle was up to. Like last time, he can't get outsmarted by a sentimonster again.

Panthera cautiously looks around. Unsure if this is really necessary when lockdowns can be a little claustrophobic for those who have claustrophobia.

"It feels like a zombie outbreak is about to happen" She tries to joke.

"Too predictable if you ask me," Felix said.

"Hmph, no kidding that you look very much identical to Adrien. Except one thing that I can distinguish from you two" Panthera said.

"My hairstyle?" Felix asked.

"Nope, but that's too simple and easy. Adrien is right-handed and you're left-handed. You compete in a chess game with your left hand on TV in London. Ever since I rescued Adrien in the jungle, I saw that he's right-handed in archery because he aims his arrow with his right hand" Panthera explains her facts that no one seems to notice.

"That's right" Felix replied.

"Like reverse. Adrien's hair is messy, yours is combed. Adrien wears casual attire, you wear formal. Adrien is nicer, you.....maybe the opposite of him since you don't smile that much" Panthera grabs a drink, non-alcohol since she's fully aware of what it can do.

"You have no idea. My father wasn't very fond of me" Felix said.

"Really? Is that why you don't socialize with anyone because of father issues? Chico, every child has parent issues but that doesn't mean parents are being too strict" Panthera uses a straw to sip since she doesn't want to leave her lip marks on the glass to jeopardize her identity.

"Sort of. But he passed away long ago" Felix said.

"I'm sorry to hear. I know that feeling too" Panthera giving him her condolences.

"Thanks. I just wish he was a better man" Felix said.

"Fathers can be complicated at times. Mothers are the best known to be parenting. Just like the rest of the mother animals in the mammal family" Panthera said.

"Yeah, many species are," Felix said.

"And that is why I'm the expert in jungle traps and wildlife," Panthera said before handing the glass to the waiter walking around with a tray in hand, "I suggest you don't cause trouble with that mayor daughter brat. She's ruined far too many enough"

"Nobody likes her," Felix said.

"But is there something I should be aware of?" Panthera asked.

"Yeah, dangers can be anywhere" Felix gave her a clue.

"I always smell danger," Panthera said.

"Panthera, is everything alright?" Adrien came to her.

"Yeah, just too aware of this soirée. That's all. I just don't like lockdowns sealing everyone inside which is very unusual like a trap" Panthera said, trying the Camembert cheese.

"It makes you feel trapped like an animal in a cage. Anyway, how's your elephant partner?" He asked.

"Fine, except he wasn't invited here," Panthera said.

"Pity, since he restored my memories," Adrien said.

"Your father should have invited him and Ladybug, but he chose me against my opinion," Panthera said.

"Maybe because you found me first," Adrien said.

"I just don't like this. It's not like him to invite me when I'm not a member of his club. This should be your party, not his" Panthera said.

"Yes, my welcome back party" Adrien agreed.

"Excuse me?! This is my Adrikins!" Chloe getting in the way.

"We were just talking. It was a simple conversation, not a competition. And secondly, he's a person, not a human trophy" Panthera rolled her eyes while remaining calm so as to not cause drama or trouble.

"Chloe, take it easy," Adrien said.

"Don't ruin it, Bourgeois. Everyone is watching and you don't want to get Adrien mad again, do you? I taught him the stare" Panthera signals Adrien to do the scary stare at Chloe.

Adrien approaches Chloe and stares at her creepily, "No! Not that stare, Adrien!" Chloe got creeped out.

"Then don't be rude to my rescuer. You've done far enough to cause trouble" Adrien said.

"Okay fine, fine sorry," Chloe said.

"Hmph" Panthera knows she is not genuinely sorry.
