The soirée was going okay while Gabriel's real plan was for his sentimonster Earworm, a parasitic creature to invade inside the person's brain through the ear to mind control and become unnoticed.

Panthera is aware that this feels like a trap, but can't blame it on Gabriel for being so secretive at everything but endangering the guests is something that shouldn't be taken lightly for Shadowmoth to plan something. So she casually chats with Adrien.

The Earworm was invading the female partier's brain and it forced her to glance at Panthera talking to Adrien about why Gabriel is very secretive.

"I just don't get it either. It's like a very odd way to mourn my mother" Adrien said.

"He's a strange man. No offense" Panthera said.

"None taken," Adrien said.

Gabriel as Shadowmoth was in Nathalie's room, holding the glass wine containing the amok to control Earworm, "That's it, just a little more" He said.

Panthera grabbed the partier's wrist from touching her spear, "Excuse me, the spear is not a toy. Is there a problem?"

"Not at all, just got fascinated," The partier said.

"Just don't touch it" Panthera released her, confused as to why the guest would try to snatch her spear.

Something was definitely up, and Panthera noticed that there was no music playing around, only people chatting. "Something's not right," she thought.

She needs to investigate without getting too caught up or feeling awkward around the guests. She noticed Gabriel was not around here, which seemed rude when the guests were here. She also saw something on the table that looked like blue slime. There was no spill, and wines aren't usually in blue liquid at an adult party.

She takes the sample in her clawed finger and smells it, "Ew, gross"

"Is everything alright?" Adrien asked.

"Ay! Um, si" Panthera lied.

"Okay," Adrien shrugs.

Panthera glanced at a male partier who was looking at her in an awkward way, unknown that the Earworm sentimonster was controlling his brain.

"Uh, hello" She spoke nervously.

"Hi, I'm a big fan of you" He spoke in a creepy tone.

"Uh, thanks" Panthera backs away from him, never likes anyone getting into her personal space.

Panthera has known her fans to be respectful with personal space before, but this one was more like harassment than anything, "Now, now. Easy now" She said nervously and spotted the stereo and got an idea to turn on the music to cause a distraction.

Once she turned it on, the Macarena started to play on the stereo.

"Time to face the music!" She grinned, but the guy suddenly started to react weirdly to the tune's volume.

Panthera smirked that something was indeed something up around here and judging by the partiers knowing the song, the male was not dancing to the song it was supposed to be doing.

"I knew it," Panthera said, recapping back from earlier that the blue slime was indeed a worm but not an actual earworm. She guessed it was a sentimonster.

"He's under control of something!" She grabbed the man.

Then she saw the earworm come out of his ear, "What the?! Gross!" She let go of the man.

The Earworm sentimonster slithers out and tries to find the new victim.

"Everyone, move!" Panthera said.

"Clear the way! Don't touch it!" Adrien warned them.

"Adrien, you gotta disable the lockdowns! Find your father!" Panthera said and grabbed a jar to use to trap the Earworm before it went to another person, "Now!"

"Got it!" Adrien ran to the office.

"Come on!" Felix ran with the others.

"Get out of the way! Move!" Panthera tried to chase it but it was too fast, "Felix look out!" She warned him and he dodged in time.

"The music! It repels it!" Panthera said, following it to the kitchen.

She grabs a pot in order to catch it. The sentimonster hissed and latched itself into the cooked corn to eat. As it did, it grew 3 times its size as a cat.

"Of course. Like the corn earworm, also known as the tomato fruitworm, cotton bollworm, and sorghum headworm, feeds on a wide variety of crops and plants!" Panthera jumped out the door to avoid the razor teeth, "I need a new strategy" She heard the worm trash the room.

She held the door from opening but she knew it won't have that long, "Goddamn it! Why aren't the lockdowns off?!"

Adrien ran to the office to find the button. He hopes he doesn't get grounded for this but there's a sentimonster terrorizing the mansion and he can't let the guests get hurt.

"Plagg, I don't know the code. Phase it through like last time" Adrien said.

"Ok," Plagg phased through it to unlock it. The door unlocked and Adrien found the office empty.

Panthera was holding the door as long as she could but the door was tearing through, "Hurry Adrien!" She groaned.

"Aha!" Adrien pressed the button.

The lockdown was turned off and it made everyone leave the mansion in a panic. Panthera couldn't hold the door for long until she was thrown against the wall for the Earworm to roar. It now was the size of a cougar.

"Holy shit! It's definitely a sentimonster! It's blue like Mayura!" Panthera held her spear to stab it. The Earworm then lunged at her but she dodged it and quickly went to find Adrien before he got hurt.

"Come on Adrien! Be safe!" She thought.

Outside, Ladybug noticed the panicked crowd running away.

Even Blu Tembo arrived too and saw the scene, "What's going on?"

"Only one way to find out" Ladybug swung down.

"I just hope Panthera isn't in trouble at the soirée" Blu Tembo jumping from roof to roof.

"She better not" Ladybug jumps into the mansion.

When they got in, they saw Panthera fight Earworm. She was trying to lure it away from the food so it doesn't grow bigger. The only thing she knows is that worms don't have ears but they can sense vibrations and respond to airborne sounds in the range of 100 hertz to 5 kilohertz. Plus, they don't have eyes but they do have light receptors and can tell when they are in the dark, or in the light.

"Ew! That's one massive worm!" Ladybug cringed.

"It's not just a worm, it's a sentimonster!" Panthera grunts and stabs the worm with her spear, "Don't let it eat corn! It makes it bigger!"

"Alright! Lucky charm!" Ladybug summoned her charm and caught it.

Out came a large stereo speaker and she nearly strained at how heavy it felt, "A stereo speaker?" She got confused.

Cat Noir arrived and helped Panthera stop the worm from escaping.

"Good timing, Kitty! Now Blu Tembo and I need to plug on the stereo!" Ladybug said.

"Of course. Worms can't hear but they feel vibrations. If we make a very loud music so loud, it will weaken it" Blu Tembo said.

"Especially if we get massive headaches and eardrum bursts!" Cat Noir smacks the sentimonster with his staff.

Panthera pokes her spear at Earworm, "Gatito! That Earworm was tiny and it went into the partiers' ear! That's why these partiers were acting so strange!" Panthera grunts and stabs the sentimonster, "It's like Shadowmoth wants my miraculous to use its power to track you and Ladybug!"

"Not on my watch he won't!" Cat Noir strikes Earworm with the staff.

"I don't see it amok!" Panthera jumps.

"Shadow Moth must have it!" Cat Noir guessed.

"You gotta cataclysm it! Dangerous as it seems but Shadowmoth won't be able to command it!" Panthera suggested but it could be dangerous if it goes berserk.

"Here goes! CATACLYSM!!!" Cat Noir lunged at it and used his dangerous touch.

The cracks formed on the sentimonster and it screeched out of control before slithering and bashing the cats on the sidewalk.

"We can't let it get away!" Blu Tembo drew out his horn.

"I told you it's dangerous to get it angry!" Cat Noir said before chasing it.

"Better than for it to travel inside your ear to your brain! Worms sense vibrations!" Panthera said.

"I gotta increase the volume" Ladybug turns it up.

"The sound frequency has to be able to vibrate through the ground," Blu Tembo said.

"Which I'm hoping for so Shadowmoth cancels the sentimonster," Ladybug said.

"Unless I track him," Panthera said but then thought of something, "Or Earworm's amok. TRACK!" She used her power to try to find the amok.

It leads towards the Eiffel Tower where Shadowmoth is, "The Eiffel Tower!" She told the others.

"Go! Panthera and I will handle the beast! Go!" Blu Tembo held the stereo speaker's lucky charm.

"Come on, Kitty!" Ladybug swung away with Cat Noir.

"Turn up the worst sound in history, Chico!" Panthera said.

"Roger that!" Blu Tembo increased the volume.

The feedback screeched so loud it caused the out-of-control sentimonster to screech by that noise through vibration.

"It's working!" Blu Tembo noticed.

"It's gonna make his body explode by the massive sound waves!" Panthera said.

"TAKE COVER!" Blu Tembo saw it tremble.

"MOVE!!!" Panthera grabbed him and jumped into the Seine River with a splash.

The Earworm then blew up in blue goo as its remains splashed in the river and the road.

"NO! It cannot be!" Shadowmoth exclaimed in anger.

"You know there is such a thing as tapeworms laying eggs in your digestion, ugly bird!" Cat Noir got his attention.

"And tapeworms aren't good for you either" Ladybug joins him.

"So you have come you two! My earworm would have gotten that jaguar's miraculous if you hadn't interfered!" Shadow Moth said.

"She's an adult and she always senses a trap just like an actual jaguar" Ladybug glared.

"You'll never get her miraculous, old man," Cat Noir said.

"Two cats are like twice to scratch your face off if you provoke them" Ladybug swung her yo-yo.

"Surrender now Shadowmoth!" Cat Noir readies his staff.

"Never! You'll never get my miraculous!" Shadowmoth jumped off the Eiffel Tower to disappear.

Ladybug and Cat Noir then try to chase him but lost sight of him down below and they growled in frustration that he escaped again like a coward.

"That coward got away again!" Ladybug said in frustration.

The purified amok was released in midair since Shadowmoth had no choice but to release the useless sentimonster.

"Let's go back to the mansion so you can use your lucky charm to repair everything," Cat Noir said.
