The next day, the news in Paris informed of an explosion in the warehouse in the Amazon jungle in Brazil last night. It was unknown how it caused it and they still share news on whether or not the missing model teen Adrien Agreste is alive or dead. Marinette was shocked at the news, who could have caused the explosion in Brazil? The news says it could have been a terrorist but it wasn't and that the explosion was simply an accident.

"I just hope Adrien and Panthera weren't nearby," Marinette thought while watching the news.

With Gabriel, he was mad at the survivor who survived the incident for losing Panthera and the savage boy again.

"He just came out of nowhere and somehow she escaped with him on a helicopter!" the survivor explained.

"Then find the helicopter! You fools are nearly wasting my time and you failed again!" Gabriel yelled.

"We'll try to track it, sir!" The survivor said.

"Make sure not to lose track," Gabriel said.

"Yes, sir" The mercenary hangs up.

Gabriel smacks his tablet stand in anger that they lost Panthera and the savage boy again. "This is getting out of hand!" he ranted and stormed off.

Adrien is missing and he's wasting his time on relying on mercenaries to find him and yet they failed again. Just like his akumas have failed him countless times to claim the miraculous from Ladybug and Cat Noir. But now with Cat Noir being absent, he couldn't get his miraculous.

Later that day, Ladybug was on another patrol, thinking about the destroyed base. She assumed Adrien and Panthera ran into that and she needed to be sure by calling through Panthera.

"Pick up, Panthera. Come in" Ladybug waited for an answer.

"Ladybug? What's wrong? Whoa, whoa! The throttle is the lever on your side, Adrien!" Panthera said from nearly shaking a bit with flying the helicopter.

"Wait, are you two on a helicopter?" Ladybug asked.

"Yes, we escaped the exploding base. We're heading for Colombia now" Panthera said.

"Give the phone. I need to speak with her" Adrien said.

Panthera passed the phone to him, "Hey Adrien. Are you alright?" Ladybug asked.

"Panthera and I managed to survive for now. If Blu Tembo is with you, tell him that I'm counting on him to restore my memories by the time we get to Paris" Adrien said.

"I will, Adrien. And stay safe" Ladybug said.

"And you too, mil—Ah, Ladybug" Adrien nearly corrected himself.

"Thanks. Ladybug out" Ladybug hung up.

"Ah, you do seem to miss her that much, gatito" Panthera could tell by his face.

"Yeah, I do," Adrien said.

"I told you that you can't live without her" Panthera steadies the helicopter before seeing the city that was familiar to her and it was indeed Colombia, "We arrived. I recognize the town of San José Del Guaviare. It's not a city but it's close enough for a place with civilized people"

"That is something," Adrien said.

"There's the aircraft area. Good landing for the helicopter" Panthera said.

"You don't have a permit or license for it," Adrien said.

"Luna doesn't but Panthera does. I've been here before and they have known Panthera for months now" Panthera said before steadying the helicopter and slowly moving down to land. The two got off the helicopter and observed the area.

"Panthera? I never expected to see you here. And with a native amigo with you," The person in charge said.

"Long story, señor. My friend and I are here to visit a friend of mine. That helicopter was stolen by those mercenaries and we borrowed it. Hopefully, you can return it to the professionals" Panthera said.

"We'll do our best to return it. And look after this niño, Panthera" The person in charge said.

"I will. Vamos, amigo" Panthera said to Adrien, heading to the town, hoping that this is a small step for him to adapt back to civilization.

"Si" Adrien nods and follows her into town.

"So who is this person we are seeing? Not to be rude but I do need a real warm shower" Adrien said.

"She's the old lady that gave me the miraculous. She can help us provide shelter at her mansion" Panthera said while crossing the street with him.

"She owns a mansion? Wow, and what does she do?" Adrien said.

"She provides a home for cats. She's a cat lady. And yes, you'll get food to eat, a warm shower, and a real bed to sleep on than in the jungles. And she does have an excellent massage parlor which is usually for cats but also a person too" Panthera explained and walked on the sidewalk to pass by the civilians.

"Thank goodness," Adrien said.

"Do you feel anything while walking in town? No shock? No irrational reaction?" Panthera asked.

"Not yet" Adrien replied.

The honking of the car horns nearly startled him as he had forgotten about that, "AH!" He jumps up on the pavement.

"Jumpy like a cat. I suppose we gotta work on your composure" Panthera said, nearly snickering at his reaction.

"It's been months," Adrien said.

"And you haven't tamed your Cat Noir yet. If he's still wild as he is, he's gonna need to listen to Adrien Agreste through a mind battle" Panthera said before arriving at the gate to the mansion.

She pressed the button at the intercom, "Who's there?" A voice came from the intercom.

"It's me and with a friend," Panthera said.

"A friend? Well, come on in you two" The lady on the intercom opened the gates.

"That was very nice of her, unlike my father," Adrien said before walking in with her.

Once inside, Adrien looks around the main hall. It was full of portraits of different felines. Then the cats meowed at the guests curiously before it nearly made Adrien hiss in defense.

"Relax boy. They are harmless" Came the elderly woman that Panthera got the miraculous from.

"Señora" Panthera gave her a hug.

"Mi Princesa. Oh, you are looking so beautiful like a jungle queen as ever. And I see you brought a young handsome visitor" The elderly lady said.

"Hola" Adrien waved awkwardly before removing his mask.

"You're Adrien Agreste, the missing teenager," The lady said.

"Yeah, back from the dead. What's your name?" Adrien asked.

"Rosa. And I see you also have a kwami too" Rosa sees Plagg munching on cheese near the plate.

"Yes, I admit. I am Cat Noir" Adrien said before glaring at Plagg for being rude, "Plagg, you idiot!" Adrien strained at his addiction to cheese again.

"Sorry about that," Plagg said.

"Um, my friend needs a lot of special treatments like a real hot shower, food to eat, clothes, and definitely a massage parlor too. Can your men provide that for him, Rosa?" Panthera asked.

"Of course. The guest room's free" Rosa said.

"And runny cheese for my kwami, please" Adrien added.

"Very well" Rosa nodded.

After taking a shower, Adrien got dressed and laid down on the bed, feeling exhausted from all the fights in the jungle. At least he can remember what the bed feels like back at home again. It's been so long since to finally got the best comfortable sleep.

"So good" Adrien felt the comfort.

"This is life, Adrien" Plagg munched some cheese.

"Such a good nap I felt," Adrien said in relief.

"Now we don't have to sleep in the trees or caves," Plagg said.

"And I don't need to force you to eat grapes," Adrien said.

"They were too sweet," Plagg said.

The maid came in with a food tray for the guest, "Your dinner, Señor Agreste"

"Gracias" Adrien thanked her and took the tray.

Real-cooked steak with mashed potatoes was something he needed to balance his diet. When he ate it, it was much better than the prey he hunted in the jungle. While eating, he thought about Ladybug and the others. He hoped they weren't too overwhelmed by how long he disappeared.

But he could tell Ladybug was concerned for him, "Just hang on a little longer, Bugaboo" Adrien said.

"How are you holding up, kid? You didn't freak out with coming to a town" Plagg said.

"I'm still not used to it," Adrien said.

"But at least Panthera is helping you. Even like a big sister you never had" Plagg said.

"Sort of. A cat sister that is" Adrien said.

The butler arrived at the guest room, "Your massage appointment is ready for you"

"Coming" Adrien left the room.
