Night came, and they both knew that sleep was more important than exploring the jungle. Panthera pulled over and attached the rope to a rock so that the boat would not go anywhere.

"We need to get some sleep in the cave, Adrien. We need plenty of rest. I get that there's danger at night but lack of sleep is more dangerous for the mental mind" Panthera tossed the sleeping bag to him.

"Thanks" Adrien caught it and went into the cave.

"It's just like camping," Panthera said.

"Uhhh.....I never camped at all. I stayed by myself for months, but not with anyone other than Plagg. Just not with a person," Adrien said.

"I see" Panthera unrolls her sleeping bag.

"Tell me. How do you know about me the day you became Panthera in Paris?" Adrien asked.

"Well, I knew you were the greatest model of Paris. But when I learned about your father, I didn't seem to like his attitude," Panthera said.

"No one likes how secretive he is. Not even I can disobey him but it seems I did as Cat Noir" Adrien said.

"As Adrien, it's like you're still caged by him. But as Cat Noir, you have more freedom like a wild street cat. Cat Noir doesn't exist without Adrien" Panthera said before using piles of sticks, wood, and leaves to create a fire camp.

"That's how I felt becoming him," Adrien said.

"And freedom is something you make, Adrien. Not just by earning it. And I suppose you want to know my identity since I gotta let my kwami sleep too" Panthera said.

"Yes, you need a break from being transformed" Adrien nodded.

"Clawws, let's rest" Panthera detransformed and caught her kwami in her hands.

"Who are you?" Adrien asked.

"I'm Luna Cantillo from America. A college student in becoming a zoologist and a superhero" Luna said.

"You were familiar at the zoo," Adrien said.

"Yes, that was me you saw" Luna confirmed.

"That explains your accent. But you look a little younger than a young adult" Adrien said.

"Yes, I get that a lot being petit," Luna said.

"That figures," Adrien said.

"Anyways, I'll get some food like fish near the river. We gotta eat dinner somehow. Technically speaking since we are both cats" Luna said before grabbing her bow and arrows.

"Got it" Adrien laid down.

"You gotta admit, she is the expert in survivalist like you. She did make a great tutor" Plagg said.

"She sure has," Adrien said.

"I taught her from the beginning we first met. My previous holder was growing old and she tested Luna's kindness" Clawws ate her snack.

"Interesting. Wait, was it the day before we first saw Blu Tembo and Panthera?" Adrien asked.

"Yes," Clawws nodded.

"Having memory refreshments?" Plagg can tell that all that struggle in the jungle sometimes makes him forget mostly everything.

"I'm trying to get it right," Adrien said.

"You're becoming very wild like a panther than a domesticated cat" Plagg snickered.

"Shut up" Adrien groaned.

Luna came back with two fish on an arrow, using sticks like a rotating tool to cook the fish. Once roasted enough, she hands one fish to Adrien.

"Thanks. Even if we get to Colombia, I just don't want to get frightened or distressed by the city view" Adrien ate his dinner.

"I understand, Adrien. City noise is like a deep memory you have a hard time remembering. You only adapted to the jungle noises for months. Adaption is like a living. Fish adapts in water, we adapt on land" Luna said.

"Yes. If only your elephant partner was here" Adrien said.

"Yeah. But he's helping Ladybug to fight akumas" Luna said

"I hope him fixing my mind will work," Adrien said.

"Not fix minds, he restores memories. Even on a misguided person, they can remember who they were and what memories of the past meant to them" Luna said.

"Right. I must have forgotten how Tembo's powers work" Adrien said.

"And mine to track my target but also find their traces that carry past events. Like yours for example. Like a clairvoyant vision to see through the past of when and how it happened" Luna said.

"Like sand and water carry memories," Adrien said.

"Pretty much" Luna replied.

"Did someone give you a miraculous in Paris? Someone I know who gave me a miraculous never mentioned about the jaguar miraculous" Adrien said before eating more.

"It was the day I first arrived in Paris at the airport. I was about to get in the taxi cab but then I saw an elderly Colombian woman struggling to get in the other cab and I chose to help her. Although I didn't notice she slipped a miraculous in my bag before I was helping her inside the cab. And that's how I met my kwami and Blu Tembo when there was an Akuma on the loose" Luna explained how she got her miraculous.

"That figures. I don't know when he got his own" Adrien said.

"I guess he got one here in Paris too" Luna shrugged.

"Considering you two appeared at the same time," Adrien said.

"Yes, but we also don't know each other's identities the same way you and Ladybug don't," Luna said.

"Yeah, because it would be extremely awkward if it turns out it's someone I knew," Adrien said.

"And that's something you need to know, Adrien. You may think you're in love with Ladybug but you don't know her true self in civilian. It's like talking to a stranger you don't even know. It's the same how everyone knows the real you because you're seen in ads and photoshoots but they don't know who Cat Noir is" Luna explained the difference between loving a superhero and true form.

"You're right, I fell in love with a stranger wearing a mask," Adrien said.

"But it's okay to admire her as in loving what she does all the time with you. Like me and Blu Tembo ready to fight bad guys like a duo" Luna said.

"Okay," Adrien finished his fish.

"Sometimes knowing if a person loves you back, you gotta know more about the girl you truly love. Like for example, Lila only loves your looks, not your personality or as a person. Even I can't tell or prove it but fan girls can be a little hyper when admiring a male celebrity" Luna said.

"No kidding," Adrien said, getting into his sleeping bag.

"But there's still love out there for you, gatito. Ladybug loves you as a partner and a best friend. Friendship is also by love too" Luna said, finishing her meal.

"And they say love conquers hatred too," Adrien said.

"Claro que si" Luna gets in the sleeping bag to sleep.

"Night Luna, Plagg, and Clawws" Adrien said as he went to sleep.

"Buenas noches, amigos," Luna said before drifting to sleep.

Back in Paris, Lila was spying on Ladybug while she patrolled again. Of course, a certain liar would always wanna get rid of Ladybug for ruining her life.

"Seems Ladybug's losing her touch without her cat" Lila sneered.

"Is she?" A voice startled her before noticing it was Blu Tembo, "Spying is very rude, you know" He glared angrily at remembering the time she made a lie about himself saving her life that day he became Blu Tembo in Paris and signing an autograph for her in Africa, it went too far to ruin his reputation.

"How long have you been here?!" Lila asked.

"Long enough to see you spy on Ladybug" Blu Tembo folded his arms.

"Spying? I was just watching out for akumas happening" Lila tried to fool him.

"Oh, are you? There hasn't been any akuma for days" Blu Tembo replied.

"Is it about that lie I made? I have a lying disease and I can't help it. It's not my fault" Lila tried to act innocent but Blu Tembo wasn't easily fooled by her lies or her manipulation.

"You really are hopeless. There's no such thing as a lying disease!" Blu Tembo replied in anger at how much of a liar she is to know that it's very tiring and annoying to lie to someone who can see through her lies, "You really are a horrible person and like an actress to fake yourself at everything you say to innocent people in real life. Life is no fun and games, Miss Rossi" Blu Tembo said.

"I only tell people what they wanna hear" Lila smirked.

"Lies don't have a future. You may be able to fool people but not Ladybug, Cat Noir, Panthera, and me" Blu Tembo replied sternly, "Stay out of Ladybug's business and everyone else or I can erase your memories. Everyone knows an elephant remembers everything" Blu Tembo made a threat but it was just his way for Lila to cooperate but that doesn't mean he'll erase her memories for real.

"Please don't do that!" Lila panicked.

"Then I suggest you stop spying on Ladybug. I don't care how much you hate her but I suggest you stop trying before you do something very irredeemable. And trust me, if you do that, it will be your downfall and there's no turning back" Blu Tembo gave her a warning before jumping to the rooftop building.

Lila walks away while Blu Tembo runs on the rooftop. He needed to inform Ladybug that Lila spied on her.

Panthera and Adrien were still at the Amazon river by boat traveling to get to Colombia. Rivers have canals and Panthera did remember the one that is close to Colombia. They have to cross Negro and then to Vapues which is where it goes to Colombia. Right now they are on the Negro Canal which would take maybe a day or two, depending on the fuel in the boat.

"I sure hope we won't go where Escobar's hippos roam," Adrien said.

"South America has no hippos, gatito," Panthera said, making the boat go steady by its speed.

"I know but these are invasive," Adrien said.

"Right. But the Colombian government should have sent them to zoos" Panthera said.

"They are savanna animals, not rainforest animals," Adrien said.

"Well, they belonged to Pablo Escobar, a famous drug lord who died long ago," Panthera said.

"And let's hope there's no new drug lord for that. Criminals have been in hiding because they fear Shadowmoth" Adrien said, eating more fruits and fish since he was a very hungry person.

"Not to mention your father hired mercenaries," Panthera said.

"If I ever get back to Paris, I am not gonna let him say he's my father and knows what's best for me because I'm tired of hearing him say that. What I want to know is why to trust bad people to do these things to find me" Adrien said with anger.

"Hold up, Jungle Noir. You're saying he is your father whenever you try to make an opinion or statement of something to him?" Panthera asked, though guessing that whenever Adrien tried to speak up to his father, Gabriel barely ever listened to opinions.

"I did but this is too far for him to hire people who can kill kids," Adrien said.

"Shh....I hear something. Put your mask on" Panthera heard quiet sounds in the trees and she stopped the boat.

Adrien did so and they looked around and readied his bow and arrow.

Panthera suddenly got hit by the tranquilizer dart on her leg, "Agh!"

"Shit! Tranquilizers!" Adrien shot the arrow in the direction the tranquilizer came from and dodged when more darts were shot.

Panthera removed the dart from her leg but collapsed on the floor due to the drug taking effect too quickly, "Adrien.....run....." Panthera said weakly that she was nearly sedated.

"I won't leave you!" Adrien struggles to pull her out of the boat.

"They're after you" Panthera dosed off before the drug took effect on her to sleep.

"Kid, they're coming!" Plagg said.

Adrien dives into the water and swam up to land to run away from the mercenaries. Once far away, he saw the mercenaries securing the sedated Panthera.

"We got to save her" Adrien whispered to Plagg.

"She saved your life again. She's a lot like you taking hits to save another" Plagg said.

"She has learned from me. Now let's go" Adrien puts the mask on.

"The savage brat escaped! Find him!" The lead ordered them.

"He's too far from here! Let's just focus on this woman right now! She's sedated" The mercenary said.

"Good. We'll use her as bait to get him. Our employer wants the feral boy alive" The lead said.

"He dodged our moves! He's too fast as hell as we saw what he's capable of!" The mercenary said before putting the caged sleeping Panthera in the jeep.

Adrien saw them drive away with her, "I got no choice. If I go savage, my instinct is for them to hunt. Plagg, claws out!" Adrien transformed into Cat Noir but nearly let out a ferocious meow. He ran rapidly on all fours through the jungle.
