Laurance's POV

Our group searches frantically for Aphmau and Travis. They've been missing ever since Sasha came... I should have never let Aph go to Travis, it should've been me! Grah, I'm such an idiot! We trudge along the snowy grounds, our shoes now loosing some material. Snow starts to creep into my boots, it making my feet numb with every step. I fumble with the spiral in my hand, me twirling it around and waiting for another tree. As we pass a hill, I hear whimpers. I motion the others to stay put. I creep over in that direction, my spear present in my hands.

"Who's there?" I growl. 

"G-Garroth R-Ro'Meave... District 1." He sounds like he's been crying. 

"Why're you crying?" My tone softens as I crouch down by Garroth. 

"V-Vylad. H-He died." Garroth cries. 

I look down at the body he was covering in snow. I wrap my arm around him, then engulf him in a hug. 

"It'll be ok.. He's in a better place now." I whisper. 

"I was trying to find him, t-then... I just found him laying here, completely motionless." Garroth explains. 

I get up, lending him a hand. He accepts the offer, then we're both on our feet. I kick a final gust of snow on Vylad's face, then the cannon goes off, signaling his death to everyone. 

"Where's Dante?" I ask. 

"Looking for Aphmau and Travis. We saw Aphmau trying to help Travis, but then had to escape due to another tribute." Garroth says. 

"Good, do you have any idea where he is?" I ask again. Garroth shakes his head no. I sigh, then lead Garroth to everyone else, "It's ok guys! It's just Garroth." I inform. 

Everyone lowers their weapons. Katelyn walks up to Garroth, then they start talking until we find a patch of blue hair bouncing around.

"DANTE!" I yell. 

He turns to me, "Guys!" Dante exclaims, running over. 

"Have you found any sign of Aphmau, Cadenza, Kenmur or Travis?" I ask. Dante shakes his head no. We then see the tip of Cadenza's ponytail, "CADENZA." I scream louder. I break off from the guys, running to her. It's not Cadenza, "Lillith?" I ask. 

She smirks. "I can have any hair color I want. The perk of magicks." Lillith rubs it in my face. 

"Give me Cadenza." I growl. 

She chuckles devilishly, "I can't." She says. 

"Why not?" I ask. 

"I don't know where she is." Lillith replies. 

I throw my spear at Katelyn. She catches it, then I aim my bow at Lillith. 

"Say your final goodbye. On the fifth day of the Hunger Games, your death has arrived." I growl. Fear paints in Lillith's eyes. 

I release my arrow, it hitting her in the chest. She falls to the ground immediately. I kick some snow onto her, then the cannon blows. 

"Fifth day of the Hunger Games." I mumble, then walk off. 

"Thanks for the spear." Katelyn smirks. 

"No problem." I reply. 

She chuckles softly, "GUYS! DON'T GO THAT WAY-- Ughhhh." I hear someone groan. 

Sounds like Aphmau. We run over to her direction. Yep, it's Aphmau.

"APH!" Garroth and I yell at the same time. 

She looks at us, "CADENZA, KENMUR AND TRAVIS, GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE!" Aphmau yells in a stern tone. They bolt over, then catch a glimpse of us. The four of them make their way to us, "What happened while we were gone?" Aphmau questions.

I glance at Garroth, then back at Aphmau, "Vylad, Garroth's brother.. Died for a reason I don't know. Then I killed Lillith." I explain. 

"What about Sasha?" Aphmau asks. 

"Her fate is unknown." I say. 

Aph nods, then we walk along. Something is about to hit Aphmau, when someone jumps out of no where and grabs a spear that's tip is only centimeters away from Aph's head. None of us were fast enough to react, so I'm glad this guy saved her life. 

"Aaron?" Aphmau asks, turning to him. 

He nods slyly, then runs off to the figure that owned the spear. We then have Aphmau in the middle of our crowd so she doesn't get hurt as easily.

~The Next Day, Laurance's POV

No one has died since Lillith, I'm surprised since Aaron went after whoever threw the spear yesterday. I wake everyone else up, since I had night watch last night. 

"There're only 14 days in the Hunger Games and we've been here for 6 days now... We have a good amount of time before we have to split up." I think aloud.

"You're right." Cadenza's hand slides over my shoulder. 

I hug her immediately, "I wish there was a way I could protect you." I mumble in her ear. "

I'll be fine." She assures. 

She doesn't seem sure about that, because her voice gets shaky when she's unsure or nervous. I can't blame her tho, anybody would be scared. I mean, it's the Hunger Games for Irene's sake! We release, then everyone walks towards us. We continue to walk along for the whole day, gathering resources such as food and refilling our water bottles. I'm glad we ran into some food, because we were almost out. 

"TO THE CORNICOPIA FOR MORE RESOURCES. THE REMAINING TRIBUTES WITH TWO OF EACH WILL HAVE SOMETHING THAT YOU ALL NEED VERY MUCH." A gamemaker screams over the intercom. 

It booms around the arena. Everyone looks at Aph and I. 

"I guess we're going for two and twelve." I smirk at her. 

"I guess we are." She replies. 

We look back at everyone, grab our weapons then head off to the center. Everything will go well... Right?
