I sighed as I walked around the neighborhood. Blending in with the humans seemed easy because I appeared to be one of them, but acting like them is hard because so many of them are out there and each and every one of them is different.
"Hello Mister!" A young girl with orange hair and hazel eyes said to me, blocking my path.
I cleared my throat and said, "What are you doing out here so late sweetie? Should you not be inside? Your parents are probably worried about you."
"Her parents have absolutely no worries." The boy next to her said. He was holding her hand and had golden eyes. That was quite strange because humans don't have golden eyes. "Don't worry."
"Would you like to play a game with us?" The girl asked, a smile on her face. "It's a really fun game."
"What kind of game is it?" I asked.
"It's a game where monsters chase you and you have to try and fight to keep them away." She explained. "Come in my house and we'll play it."
Before I could protest, she grabbed my hand and began leading me to her house.
"Please explain this game to me." I said as she dragged me. "I do not understand what happens in this game."
"Don't ask questions." The girl said. "Just trust us."
"But I do not trust you." I said. "I barely even know you."
"Oh, you're all about stranger danger, aren't you?" The girl asked.
"Is that not what human parents teach their offspring?" I asked. "They teach their children not to trust other human that they do not know, right?"
"Gee, you're really weird." The boy said. "Aren't you a human?"
"Why, of course I am." I said. "What makes you think that I am not human?"
"Well, you're talking about all kinds of weird things." The boy said.
"They are not weird." I said. "They are simply one part of my study of the human race."
"Are you a psychologist?" The girl asked. "You kinda sound like one."
"A psychologist is a human that studies the behavior of other humans correct?" I asked.
"Yes." The girl said, sounding confused. "But you look like a teenager. Are you going to college for psychology?"
"What is college?" I asked.
"Never mind." She said. We came up the steps to what I assumed to be her house. "Just come in."

"Stay in this room." She said. "Your only weapons are the doors and this flashlight." She placed the device in my hands.
"But what happens if the monsters get me?" I asked.
She started to walk out of the room but turned back to face me in the doorway. "You don't want to know." She said. "Trust me. Let's go Aiden!"
The golden eyed boy followed her out of the room.
"You have to make it to six AM to win the game!" He called after me.

I was so confused. Who were the monsters? Or these humans crazy? Or they even humans at all? I know that the girl is a human, but I sense great powers coming from her. I sense that she's psychic but she also might have the ability to time travel and see into the future.
As for Aiden, as the girl referred him to, I'm not sure what he could be. But he's most certainly not a human.

I felt a presence behind me. I clicked the flashlight on and saw that a weird looking bear with the a top hat and sharp teeth was behind me. He disappeared as soon as I shined the light on him.
"Weird." I muttered. "What are these humans doing?"
I then heard a weird sound from the door. I ran up to it and I heard some sort of breathing. I quickly closed the door, my heart pounding in my chest. When it stopped, I opened the door and shined the light down the hallway. Nothing was there.
"What are they doing?" I asked myself once more. I then heard the same sound coming from the right door. I thought that this was a trick so I shined the flashlight down the hall.
Huge mistake.
A chicken who indeed looked like a monster stared directly at me. Her teeth were sharp and she said several rows of them. She was terrifying.
"Don't hurt me!" I said, starting to back up into the room. "You don't wanna mess with me!"
She screamed and threw herself on top of me. She bit into my neck and my blood spilled all over the floor. She then ripped off my arm and began eating it. I couldn't scream. I wanted to so badly, but my voice just wouldn't allow me to scream.

She threw my arm to the side and punched me in the face, knocking out a few of my teeth in the process. She then began choking me and banging my head against the floor. The last thing I heard before I blacked out were the two kids giggling.

"Good job Chica!" I said, running into the room and hugging her. "You killed him! Good girl!"
She snarled at me, but hugged me nonetheless. She released me from the hug and left the room.
"What did I tell you?" I said to Aiden when Chica was gone. "No one can win the game. We should get some more people to play."
"I agree." He said, his eyes glowing in the darkness. "This is fun."
"Hey,'you think you can do your trick?"
I asked.
"What trick?" He asked.
"The one where you can turn into anything you want." I said. "I love that trick!"
"Fine." He said. "What do you want me to turn into?"
"A wolf!" I said.
I heard him take a deep breath and then I saw a giant wolf in place of Aiden. He still had his eyes, but he now had gray fur.
"Awesome!" I said. "But it's not as awesome as my trick."
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. I could feel myself floating in the air. I opened my eyes and saw that I was in someone's room. I looked at the calendar on their wall.
The year was 2015.
I smiled, knowing that I had actually time traveled. I went over to the person's desk and grabbed their computer. They were watching a video with two guys in it. They both had cat whiskers on their faces and one had brown hair and the other one had black. I found a Sharpie next to the computer and drew my own cat whiskers on my face. I then started to watch the video.

Apparently the two guys' names were Dan and Phil and they were British.
Also, the cat whiskers come from within.
I was about to watch another one of their videos when the door to the room suddenly opened. I quickly went back to the present time.

"Where on earth did you go?" Aiden asked me. He was back to being a human. "And why do you have cat whiskers on your face?"
"First of, the cat whiskers come from within." I said. "Second off, I went to the year 2015."
"You did not!" Aiden said. "Did you?"
I took his hand and smiled.
"Want to come with me?" I asked. "You have so much to learn, my friend."
"Yeah!" He said excitedly. "I can't wait to see why the future holds."
I smiled wider and used my power to time travel once more.
