I hate awkwardness.

Anyways I was in my room. It was like an hotel with everything I needed. I even found a TV when I opened the cabinet. I had no idea why they decided to do that but it wasn't very rare since I sawn one before in my friends house.

Thinking of death and how tomorrow's going to turn out was too dark...so I turned on the TV. It instantly played a video about the Trial of Death. I clicked on the on/off button multiple times but it didn't stop playing. It showed 1 on 1 battles, every battle had a survivor and death. I clicked furiously on the remote but when I spotted my brother Nichol, my fingers stopped. 

Nichol in the TV was in front of a Asian girl with black hair that reached her back. The girl was crying desperately. In the right corner of the screen, it had a text that said "Nichol Russell vs. Haruka Suzuki". Nichol smiled and used his own knife to stab himself. 

The next battle played. I stared in shock knowing how my brother died. He gave up his life to save Haruka Suzuki. Haruka Suzuki, older sister of Skylar. 

If the Trial of Death is always held like this, than I would have a one on one combat with someone. And the look the Shadow Hunter gave to me and Skylar...he must've realized. And maybe just for fun, would he pair us up? 

I wonder, would I give up my life to save Skylar like my brother did to her sister?

I know, very very short chapter but I feel like I should end here.
