A while later...
I made a simple breakfast in the morning. There wasn't anything fancy to eat anyways. We began to watch the local news around. While the Rodian news reported rattled on about the daily Imperial achievements, Cassian and I sat on the couch. It began to get boring, so Cassian reached over to turn it off, but something popped up. The Rebellion. I leaned over to see what it was about. In bold letters across the screen listed: Imperial SuperWeapon Destroyed by Rebellion lead by These People. Pictures appeared on the screen of many species, human and other. Then I gasped. Cassian saw it too. "Luke. It's Luke!" I exclaimed. He held me tight. Our plans helped aid in the destruction of the Death Star. "Couldn't have done it without us right?" He asked. I nodded, grinning. I really felt that I had made an impact. I leaned into him as he gave me a kiss. Then he took my hand and held it for a long time. We continued to sit there for the rest of the night. It wasn't until we finally decided to retreat to our bed that we left it.

He rolled over towards me, loving me, holding me...The war hadn't come our way yet and I was glad that it stayed that way. We had more time to do things we wanted and less time to worry. As we laid in the bed, we heard a knock. We both were immediately still. "Stay here, ok?" He asked, taking the gun from its place in the drawer and sneaking towards the door. Instead of doing what he said, I followed him. I hid behind the couch and waited. "Who is this?" I heard him ask. "Just a patrol. We're looking for 2 people. Cassian Andor and Jyn Erso..." the muffled voice from behind the door. "I don't know who they are," Cassian replied. "Just open the door!" The other voice replied. I heard Cassian sigh and then open the door. The rest of it was too fast to see or react. I could see from where I was watching that the people were bulky men, all human except for the Rodian besides them.

One of the men held Cassian in a choke hold while tossing his gun away from him. Fortunately it was towards me. I grabbed it, loaded it, and aimed it at the Rodian. "What..." he stammered. "That's her! That's the other one!" Said one of the men, pointing at me. "Don't make me shoot you with this..." I warned them. They backed away. "What, you're letting a girl scare you?! Seize her!" The Rodian shouted. They ran towards me and I began firing. One of them had a knife, but I dodged his attacks. He sliced at me, cutting into my arm and I swung around. After incapacitating all of them, I pushed them out towards the awaiting robotic officers, a hood over my face and returned back inside. "Are you alright?" I asked Cassian. He only rubbed his neck before assisting me. He wiped a wet cloth over the wound. I winced and he looked into my eyes. "It's not too deep...but you shouldn't move around much, ok?" He asked. He yawned and began to wrap it. "After we cleaned up, we headed back towards the bed where we slept peacefully the rest of the night.
