Finally! I have had the balls to update! I am so sorry, just that too much shit has happened lately, I was kind of busy... BUT I'M BACK! And I'll be honest, I shall reveal a very dark secret... This story was not planned WHAT-SO-EVER! I was like: 'Oh, how about an apocalyptic story where Mini gets a lot of attention and shit like that?' The Devil on my shoulder was like:'Cool story bro, tell me more!' So I said: 'Fuck it, YOLO this shit!' To be honest, this story was made of boredom. And now I'm here.... With almost 15k views on this. You guys... Like... how are you still here? WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?! I guess I shall advance to the story now. I just wanted to thank you all for putting up with the delays and things like that. I'm not usually the person who writes long A/N's. SO! Without further adieu, Let the story commence!

Ze fell asleep for the rest of the night while I watched to moon slowly fade behind the horizon. Ghost soon joined me while we just watched the scene. It was rare to have these moments of peace. Especially at this time. I heard that Mike was trying to 'free the world' of this nightmare. To be honest, I thought it was ridiculous. But I think he has about a... 0.001% chance at succeeding. Everyone stuck in this hell-hole wishes to either die or make the world normal. It's not unusual any more. Not to me, at least. Thinking of the past and future has really taken a toll on me. I shouldn't be doing this. Whatever happened in the past, cannot be changed, even if it could be, like a small mistake, you could correct it, but people would still remember that you made that mistake to have to correct it. And the future is impossible to predict unless you're some kind of wizard or fortune teller, although I'm pretty sure that's mostly fake.

I heard shuffling behind me, I turned around to find Ze waking up. I got out water and an apple and handed it to him as soon as he stretched. He smiled at me in a form of thanks and ate while I packed up our stuff. I had a possible idea of where Mike was located, but I wasn't entirely sure. I ruffled Ghost's fur and he seemed to find it ticklish as he sprawled all over the floor, his tongue hanging out. I chuckled at him and heard Ze trying to hold in his laughter.

I grabbed the 2 bags while Ze grabbed the third. Ghost at my side. And we were on the move.

I grabbed Ze from walking around a corner when I heard voices. Ze had a confused expression while I clamped my hand over his mouth and made a 'shh' motion. The look of realisation crossed his face as he crouched down and peaked around the corner, while I did the same, but standing up. We saw the one sight we never wanted to see in out lives, well, at least not me. I'm not sure about Ze, but definitely not me. I recognised the person immediately. My long time friend. My long time lost  friend.

"Don't fucking touch me! You piece of SHIT!" 

I could recognise that voice anywhere. 

"What are YOU gonna do about it, bitch?"

I could sense my best friend's anger.

"You don't wanna know..."

I heard Mike's stupid laugh.

"Oh... I bet you're just as pathetic as your friend over here..."

I could faintly see his figure gesturing in the direction of a lump on the floor.

"Hell, you might even be more pathetic than that poor excuse of a son of mine..."

"Don't you DARE talk about my best friend like that..."

"What are you gonna do? Cry on the floor like a little bitch?"

"Try me, fucker."

"Alright..."

The standing figure pointed the gun at my friend's head. There was no movement for a few seconds.

"Any... last words?"

I could hear the smirk in his voice as he was getting ready to pull the trigger. But before he could do anything else, I jumped out of my hiding spot. Without thinking I fired 2 shots in Mike's general direction before turning to one of the guards. Ghost launched himself at the other while Ze provided cover fire, realising what was happening. I heard Mike's loud cry. It really sounded like nails on a chalkboard. I cringed while Ze copied my expression. The guards were gown and I could see that I hit Mike in the arm with one of my shots.

"D-don't come a-any clo-closer!"

He raised his gun while applying pressure to the wound with the other. Suddenly, he just started to book it in a random direction. 

Ghost was thinking about chasing him.

'Don't Ghost. He's not worth it. Not just yet at least...'

He obeyed. 

I finally turned to the person who was on the ground and smiled widely at them. They looked closer at me and their eyes widened. They scrambled to stand up. As soon as they did, they pulled me into a hug. I could see Ze standing there awkwardly and I pulled away because I started laughing at him.

I walked up to Ze and patted him on the back. We exchanged small smiles.

"Heh... Long time no see, Craig?"

I looked at the person.

"More like 'Super long time not at all see'."

"True... but hey! We see each other now!"

We laughed again. I just now noticed that she was staring at Ze.

"And who is your friend here?"

"This is Ze."

I nodded at him. She clapped her hands lightly and smiled.

"Ze, this is my old time friend. Minx!"

He smiled at her and nodded.

"Nice to meet you."

Minx had an amused smile on her face.

"Oh my god he is adorable!"

"Hey! Don't call me that!"

Ze made a mock-pout as he was blushing lightly. Minx and I just burst out into laughter again.

"Oh, I forgot to introduce someone... Minx, this is Ghost."

When she looked at him, he somehow managed to bow. Even I was amazed. I looked back over to the two and they looked back at me.

"So! Who's ready for revenge?"

"AYE!"

"I am."

And even Ghost growled at the thought of Mike.

"So... Ze. Why are you getting revenge?"

I think all of us could feel the atmosphere getting heavy with sadness and misery around Ze.

"I... My boyfriend got killed right in front of my eyes. I kind of thought about it when I saw you behind the corner with Mini. Max was dead next to me while Mini came to my rescue, kind of like we did with your situation..."

Minx looked shocked.

"I think that explains it. Now, please don't talk about this any more..."

"Sorry Ze... I didn't know..."

I saw a tear slip from his eyes.

"It's... It's fine, just don't... don't bring it up. And I really don't care if you judge me."

I pulled Ze closer to me while rubbing his back. I looked over at Minx to see her saddened expression.

"I don't judge you either Ze. I... Had a girlfriend. I loved her so much. We became engaged. I was so happy. But then... That bastard took her. Experimented on her... The last time I saw her was when she was being forced to put on a white lab coat. But, she was different. The experiments, they... changed her. One of her eyes became Red while the other was brown, they were once full of life and happiness. The last time I saw those eyes; they were dull with sadness and suffering. I... I'm sorry. That person that was with me... Was a close friend of mine. His name was Aaron. Well, he preferred to be called Slam."

Ze looked at her and uttered barely audible words.

"I forgive you, but now, I have one more reason for revenge. I hate when someone hurts my friends, or someone close to me. I'm not usually the type of guy to hurt people, but with Mini here, and you, I have a chance at least."

I smiled at both of them.

"We have determination. I'm sure we'll be able to cause damage."

Minx suddenly stopped and gasped. Ze did the same. I looked up to be greeted by a jaw-dropping sight. 

"Well guys... I think we're here..."
